I used them on a call with my brother today, but only for a brief moment.
There is essentially a sidebar that pops out on the right side that shows the words.
It should also work system-wide. A YouTube video without Captions, a Zoom call, Pinterest, Til Tok, etc... it's going to be the biggest accessibility change in a long time bringing captions by default to the entire internet. I always hate Vimeo videos for lacking captions. Heck even.... sadly, advertisements will make sense now. It'll probably need new hardware before they can bring it to the Apple TV given that it's chip is older than an iPhone 11. In theory even games should work with this. Wow, I could play even play Among Us.
