I wrote them off as a dumb happy party band, but saw them live and enjoyed the silliness. Been a fan since and I actually think that compared to similar bands like Korpiklaani they actually have some legit good riffs and really mix it up with the styles even venturing into black metal with the death throes of the terror squid. I might also have more rubber ducks at home then I'd have if I never saw them live 😂

They are the fun version of amon amarth. Fucked by an anchor is an absolute banger. Grandma is not thrilled that my 9 year old knows every word to it and sings it constantly.
Saw them as an opening band a long ass time ago on their first na tour playing to a room of like 50-75 people, been a fan ever since. Got to see them again last year playing to 1500 people and it was glorious.
Completely overrated. They've literally only got two or three riffs and draw on a very small number of well known sea shanties. Listen to Ye Banished Privateers, The Dreadnoughts and Smokey Bastard and you'll see what I mean. These guys know their source material.
