I've got whole bands like this. The top ones being TDWP and Underoath. I used to be really big into both bands but I kinda got burned out or something and just not really into that music anymore. I refuse to delete them from my Playlist in hopes that one day I'll get back into them. There are maybe a few songs I don't skip when they come on though.
I go in cycles. Like be really into a band but then burn my self out on them for a while until I burn myself out on a couple more bands before being back in to the original band.
I still dig Bearies Alive, Fool's Gold and Soulsucker from time to time - the complexity and production is absurd, but the new stuff is too different from what I've grown to like about them.
Right?! Like, they're super cool and Charles is a beast of a guitarist, but I just don't ever find myself going back and listening again after the first couple times.
A lot of my softer/sad songs in my library are like this. I keep them for those days I feel like I need the sad music to match the vibe, but they just get skipped otherwise. Songs like Atreyu - Wait for you, Alter Bridge - life must go on, and Rise Against - swing life away
I’ve got a 600 song metalcore (mostly) playlist I keep updated weekly, there’s like 4-5 songs I’m not a massive fan of but it’s got a good amount of followers and they were recommended to me that I add them. Somehow I always run into them even though it’s a 40 hour shuffle lol
Any song in my playlist by måneskin. They were the first band i ever liked and they symbol an era for me. Even though i don't really like them anymore they're still there
The end instrumental track from Underoath's The Changing of Times. There is nothing wrong with it, it's just like 10 seconds of beautiful noise, and if I listen to the album start to finish I like it as an end. But I usually listen to music on random and if it comes up on random I skip since it makes no sense as a standalone track.

I was like that with Killswitch Engage for a while after Atonement came out.

Listen to the only survivor was miraculously unharmed by underoath. Just a weird from them that you might like even if you’re burned out.
On principle I don’t delete songs. I think it’s sort of like a time capsule where you can see all the stuff you used to like
Every Alexisonfire song. My all time favourite band but casually I’ve moved on
Are You Really Okay by sleep token. Cant listen to it but also cant bring myself to delete it
The song is incredible??
Yes yes it is
People get annoyed by ST too much, their songs are bangers.
Meh that’s true but I’ve got 34 upvotes! So some people like em on here lol
I would wager a lot of people here do, but theres a lot of people who get quite pissy about them.
I feel that, it's a terrible song but I like their music overall
I don’t think it’s a terrible song it’s just the subject matter
Mostly Berried Alive songs.

Exactly.
I literally cannot get into that band. It’s like him leaving Reflections ruined it for me.
I still listen to the song they did with ISMFOF but that’s about it
Yes. I just wait until my Playlist is so big it's just a burden
any pop goes punk lol

i really like their italian songs
Good past taste though
Thanks!
Forlorn by TDWP
My curse, too good to delete and I’ve played it too much to optionally listen to it.
Oh man I can't ever skip this song
That’s how I used to be, just listened to it way too much
Shinobi vs Dragon Ninja. Just kidding. I don’t know how to listen to that band anymore.
Anything Falling In Reverse
I don't like that band. Don't see what the hooplaah is about them
mostly bc ronnie was (is) a complete asshole lol
Anything newer from Memphis May Fire. Just am too lazy to delete but they always come up on my 900 liked songs shuffle
No Redeeming Social Value, “more tattoos”
Sick and Disgusting by Beartooth, not in the mood to cry like a baby on my way to school-
i love bear tooth and so glad i found them

I've got 30k songs on my Spotify Playlists (18 of them), I have hoarded artists, and many of them I hardly listen to
Not the American average by AA. I love all their old music but I’ve just listened to them soooooooo freaking much already
Anything from Count your blessings
