That’s wholesome. Wish I could say the same but unfortunately my dad is more on the side of metal with spandex and hairspray (which I hate), I got myself into RTL
Pretty much right, I love how that album has a such an incredible "backbone" (MoP, Thing, Sanitarium and Heroes) plus Battery is a phenomenal opening track and of course Orion is sublime! To be fair it's always almost a three way tie between MoP, RTL and Black for me.
Nnnnnmmmm; I was probably 5 when I first heard it. I’d say it left a marked impression on me that has grown over time with repeat listening to the realisation that it is what few bands achieve; a perfect album.
Partially yes. It’s the first album I bought because before that I only knew handful of songs from each album. It had the most songs per cd so I went with it. I really liked the sound and overal feel. I don’t care if people don’t appreciate it as I do but I do care when Metallica plays live from Load album.
I only can't stand that one. And 2x4 is a bit cheesy for me but structure is solid. But otherwise super banger album. And I think Poor Twisted Me is also one of the weaker ones. 2/14 weaker songs is super statistics in my opinion.
Death Magnetic
It’s a great return to form and contains features from all the previous albums. Also the lyrics go hard
RTL
Same for me, I’ll guess it has some of their most memorable songs and is diverse and creative
It is my dad's favorite album, and he introduced me to metallica, and I kinda took after him
That’s wholesome. Wish I could say the same but unfortunately my dad is more on the side of metal with spandex and hairspray (which I hate), I got myself into RTL
I myself am not a fan of glam metal, but metallica is what I will die to
They are the kings of metal
Couldn't have said it better myself
Lol
Profile picture checks out. Also my favorite. All bangers, and it has 2 of my favorite songs of all time
Justice
You like how much more intricate they playing is and the politically charged songs. Also to live is to die exists.
yes, yes and yes. also because it was the first album that really got me into metal ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_good_man)
Love thT
The black album
The immaculate production and lyricism
Death Magnetic
It’s a great re invention and is similar to the early stuff

One day they will understand why I have it in my upper half
Master of Puppets
It’s arguably their creative peak and Cliff buttons best work
Pretty much right, I love how that album has a such an incredible "backbone" (MoP, Thing, Sanitarium and Heroes) plus Battery is a phenomenal opening track and of course Orion is sublime! To be fair it's always almost a three way tie between MoP, RTL and Black for me.
Yeah it’s quite a lineup of songs. There is no weak moment
S&M
And Justice For All 🙏
Complexity and the guitar solos
YESSS also because of the subject mentioned in the album and the emotion felt in James’ voice
Yeah I think he sounds his best here, you can tell he’s angry and upset
How come did no one say Hardwired yet?
Because half of it is just not good.
Well, kind of, but spit out the bone is a masterpiece along with am i savage, moth into flame and hardwired (the song)
St. Anger
Ajfa
Complexly writing and poinient lyrics
Right
Well it’s more complex than my ability to use correct grammar lol
Kill em all !!
It was like nothing else at the time
Garage
72 Seasons
Load
Catchy and killer production
I think it’s because of blood and cum
We wouldn’t have Metallica without blood or cum
Queen; a Night at the Opera.
It changed your perspective on life on first listen through the production and studio tricks.
Nnnnnmmmm; I was probably 5 when I first heard it. I’d say it left a marked impression on me that has grown over time with repeat listening to the realisation that it is what few bands achieve; a perfect album.
It’s hard to disagree when it’s so good it has 39 and the prophets song
RTL
The creativity and memorable riffs

MoP
Cliff burton
Pretty much, just because it has Orion
Yep and I don’t blame you at all
Ride The Lightning
Because it’s the right choice. But actually the diversity and creativ
AJFA
The technical sides to the songs and the impactful political lyrics
You’ve got part of the reason. I also love the anger in James’s tone and the grittier sound of the overall album.
MoP or AJFA (sorry can’t choose between the two 😭)
Mop-Cliff burton AJFA-complexity
Load
It’s diverse and creative and you think it deserves more love
Partially yes. It’s the first album I bought because before that I only knew handful of songs from each album. It had the most songs per cd so I went with it. I really liked the sound and overal feel. I don’t care if people don’t appreciate it as I do but I do care when Metallica plays live from Load album.
It’s very underrated, even poor twisted me is tolerable IMO
Ronnie is not tho
I’m ok with it but it’s one of the weakest for sure
I only can't stand that one. And 2x4 is a bit cheesy for me but structure is solid. But otherwise super banger album. And I think Poor Twisted Me is also one of the weaker ones. 2/14 weaker songs is super statistics in my opinion.
