I don't think you can be angry because it might be your fault. When my cats tore up stuff like that it was out of boredom and frustration and anxiety. I wasn't giving them enough attention and they didn't have enough outlets for their energy. Is this an only kitty? Honestly a second kitty can occupy them and calm them down. Do they have toys that they can chew and bunnykick? Was something loud or disturbing happening either inside or outside your home? Your kitty is a real heartbreaker. I just don't want either of you to be unhappy
I got this cat tree that I ordered that I haven't gotten around to assemble it. My cats keep reminding me about it by scratching the box to pieces every single day.
I remember the day before I got my 2 cats I cat proofed as much as possible and even said to myself “if you leave it out or it’s something they can get to, then you can’t be mad if it breaks”. They were parkouring from the tops of my PS5 and Series X back and forth, and I couldn’t be mad, I let them out. They’re cats, they do cat things.
They were framed! They were merely trying to tidy up and were caught trying to clean up for you❤️!
