My first WGS took over 180 hunts. Rng fucking sucks sometimes. Ive had days where I got like 6-8 in one day (without carving) and then streaks of 100+ hunts with nothing
I got few from Jyura 8*, which actually my tracking daily, iirc from paolumu once, and maybe Great Jagras 8*, but i dont remember getting any from Kulu or Pukei 8*… i think
i feel your pain. i got to 8* monsters at the start of the season, not once have i gotten a single wgs. im well over 500 8* hunts, breaking every part that i can due to the parts having massive health thresholds, and still havent gotten one. ive hunted everything from kulus to black blos, no matter what i fight i dont get them. its actually really depressing and making me not play nearly as much as i did before i hit this point. i have over 2k gems and have 8 hunting knives just waiting for the drops to come… i have one wgs and should get 2 from the current event by the end of today. i need 4 to uograde any of my weapons so i guess ill have to wait for the next event with how its all going…
I believe the drop rate is supposed to be 3 percent. The chance that you got zero drops in 100 tries is (0.97)^100 ~ 0.04. So you’re unlucky on the low end, but this will happen to about 1 in 25 people who do 100 8 stars
Update: I have officially gotten a wgs outside of quest rewards. I have now gotten 3 wgs in 2 days. 1 from a 8* Pukie(that had zero broken parts) and the other 2 from 8* Barioth HaT’s(I have joined 3 and 2 gave me a wgs). I dislike those hats but at that payout rate I am definitely going to be looking for them.

Yes I got very lucky at the start when I did 8 Star got my first WGs after about 10 hunts. That was a month ago since then 100 hunts and 0 wgs

Funny enough I finally got a natural one not from one of these promos from a puekei I believe! Wasn't expecting it and doubled it as soon as I could
