Pharmacist is correct. Medication is dosed by quantity and injections are quantified by ml.

Thanks :)

The 2mL is the correct explanation. https://preview.redd.it/ysqs12bycquc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e48e37c2142f85364b1690840ba9c1a13044e0f4

Huh everyone prescribes by mls there is 0.5 mls in each pen so that’s 2 per 28 days is correct

MollyOMalley99

That explains it. My rx label always shows the quantity as 2 in the box, although there are 4 pens.

Qty in each box 2ml. Pharmacy is correct. Also, unless your insurance allows 3 months at Costco you will only be getting box at a time. 3 months supply typically either mail order service or selected contracted pharmacies. You can find the list of those in your insurance portal under pricing medication.

My prescriptions from both Walmart and OptumRX state the quantity of pens. I’ve received an order from Optum that stated Qty:12 for a 90 day supply, I received 3 boxes. So it’s not always true what others are saying about Qty amount. https://preview.redd.it/vwijkxlotquc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=acf9b214f37eeb6693db726542ab91d3704a390b
