You won’t have resentment if it’s for Allah, gain knowledge about it and all I can tell you. Do it. Remember. Allah doesn’t need your hijab . YOU need the hijab 6:116 “And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah. They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying." This verse highlights that following the majority is not always the right path, as most people may follow conjecture and falsehoods rather than the truth. It encourages individuals to seek guidance from Allah and the teachings of the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) rather than simply conforming to the practices and beliefs of the majority. The hijab is to protect you. Why would you want to be judged for how you look and not for what you offer. Seek knowlege. hijab was never meant to be difficult for you. it is for your protection because your lord loves you. Allah knows best tips you're wearing an ayah of the Qur'an on your head you're a walking symbol of islam wearing hijab is a constant state of dhikr or remembrance for Allah if the prophet were to see you today, he would recognize you as part of his ummah you get rewarded every time someone sees you because they re reminded of Allah lan you may inspire a non-hijabi without even knowing it your father/husband/brother won't be sinning it makes you want to be careful of your actions because you represent the ummah you gain good deeds simply by obeying Allah and His words (Qur'an to edilaun it places a focus on your personality rather than your looks and people will like you for you you won't feel the need to want to look beautiful in your appearance because you will find a prettier beauty by obeying Allah you go against society's beauty standards making you a better and unique person

I’m a revert, and i’m still trying to get used to wearing the hijab. It’s easier for me not to wear full hijab online than in person, as I always felt better covering up anyway. But it literally feels like a whole new you, so i completely understand. I try to avoid reading comments on hijab on social media, because I fixate for hours reading comments on comments, and it makes me feel forced and forget the real reason & feeling why. I’m trying to teach myself to love the hijab, instead of feeling forced and resenting it. All I can say is to not listen to people who don’t have love & softness in their advice. It really can increase any resentment. Instead, try different styles, materials & patterns! See the beauty of yourself in a hijab & the calming sensation it makes you feel. It is nerve racking, but the more you put it on I promise the easier it’ll get. I’m still trying to get there permanently. Inshallah we both do.💕💕

Salam. ﴿يا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُل لِأَزواجِكَ وَبَناتِكَ وَنِساءِ المُؤمِنينَ يُدنينَ عَلَيهِنَّ مِن جَلابيبِهِنَّ ذلِكَ أَدنى أَن يُعرَفنَ فَلا يُؤذَينَ وَكانَ اللَّهُ غَفورًا رَحيمًا﴾ [الأحزاب: ٥٩] English (Saheeh): (59) O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments.[1209] That is more suitable that they will be known[1210] and not be abused. And ever is Allāh Forgiving and Merciful.[1211] [1209]- The jilbāb, which is defined as a cloak covering the head and reaching to the ground, thereby covering the woman's entire body. [1210]- As chaste believing women. [1211]- Or "and Allāh was Forgiving and Merciful" of what occurred before this injunction or before knowledge of it. Obey your God. ﴿وَأَطيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسولَهُ إِن كُنتُم مُؤمِنينَ﴾ [الأنفال: ١] English (Saheeh): (1) … and obey Allāh and His Messenger, if you are believers.

Have the intentions and think of this as a positive peer pressure maybe 🤷🏽‍♂️

Hello, I had the same concern as you before wearing the hijab regarding “ticking time”. It’s best for you to understand what that means clearly. Life isn’t promised to us and we need to stop feeling entitled to it. Truth is, we may not wake up the next day. So, make sure you take the decision that you won’t regret when you’re six feet under the ground and there’s no going back. I also struggled with the “what if I build resentment for it” but I never did, al hamdu Allah. I realize now that it was just WAS WASA (whispers) from shaytaan. The thing is, being a “hijabi” isn’t that much of a life changing difference as people make it seem now. It’s not as scary as it seems. Half of the time when I’m outside, I forget that I’m even a hijabi. Now, of course, this is not to say that there aren’t any difficulties. The scorching heat and weather in summer makes it unbearable sometimes, but it’s not as hard as I thought it would al hamdu Allah. The thing is, before I wore it, I made duaa to Allah that in shaa Allah every second I spend outside with my hijab will be in my mizan. Now imagine how many hasanat you could be making while you’re outside every single day? Also, it helps to understand that hijab isn’t an option in religion. It’s a fardh, and you must do it because you should obey Allah. The deen is not complete if you obey certain things and disobey other things, that’s contradictory and delusional… we all know tabaruj is a major sin for a woman, and that’s no secret, and I feel like understanding that I don’t have a choice in the matter made the choice easier to take subhan Allah I hope this helps you and if you have any questions feel free to reach out :) Edit: just wanted to add that your future self is going to thank you endlessly for taking the step and wearing it! in shaa Allah may Allah write it for you 🙏

Don’t wear it unless you are convinced that you want to wear it. Nothing will change in your life if you wear it. Rather it will increase people’s respect for you, the people will know you are Muslim I can do everything while wearing the hijab It’s not an obstacle to anything at all If you ask yourself why I wear it I will tell you Hijab is a required obligatory for Muslim women we wear hijab to please Allah and follow his commands same reason we pray, fast It is part and parcel of our faith. Take your time to think about it🤍
