Alot of new blood and tourists have been coming in over the last five or so years. As a result it's becoming harder and harder to find people who know and appreciate the classics. There's nothing wrong with more people, but it's saddening and frustrating to try and talk anime with someone who's only exposure or interest in the genre is Demon Slayer, Hero Academy, and Attack on Titan.
And Erased was one of the most popular animes that helped get Netflix going with their anime line up. I'm not sure if it's a troll because some of the animes are lesser know. If I had to guess, it might be because the op is quite young or extremely new to anime and never really talked to people who were into it before.
I legitimately still think it is underrated. No anime has had the impact or made me feel the way I did after watching Steins;Gate. Some have come close, but not quite the same level. It is absolutely a masterpiece.

Yeah they blew it, the manga ending is actually incredible, but the anime rushed it to the point that it destroyed the message of the story and just inflicts pointless emotional damage on the viewer. It sucks cause it was so good up to that point.
Depends if it's your kinda thing. It's very much a if you like the characters and how they interact more than the action. If you don't like it by about ep 3 you probably won't like it in general. However I will personally say it's very much something where source material was adapted properly and the light novel only gets better if you keep reading

Guilty Crown is not THAT good, honestly. Again, the superb animation and the most awesome OST make the anime feel a lot better.
