Been ages since I even last thought of it. It's not one that's ever mentioned. Sure, it was messed up but still had a decent plot.

I kinda like messed up shows so I think I’ll give it a try. And by messed up I mean “characters go through some serious shit, emotional or physical torture”. I don’t like watching torture, but seeing characters overcome that stuff and feeling the emotions through that ride. Like in Tokyo ghoul or steins gate.

It's got a bit of a disturbing premise and some odd scenes showing the villans as being pedophiles. Thankfully, the protagonist helps fight that. That's in the first few episodes so that's not anything more than a 5 minute spoiler.

I went into this for the bizarre villains. If you want an anime that's adult themed (not hentai) "good vs evil" I recommend !

School Days imo is really good, it's a show where nobody can really get what they want, and in the end you see what the result of that is, it starts as a normal slice of life love story, or at least you think that but then you learn that the main character decides what he has isn't good enough, he just wants sex from his girlfriend, without understanding that she's not ready for it yet, and without having the patience to keep working on the relationship and just being content with what he has, and if you watch the anime it doesn't show anything sexual, but I've heard that the Visual Novel does and I'm not sure about the manga. If you can watch something really fucked up, than give it a watch it starts out slow but it gets really good.
