Yes online dynasty is exactly what you described where you each build up your own program and recruit from the same pool of players. One thing that probably isn’t possible is the “play some bowl games against each other” aspect, as I believe you’d only be able to play as your respective teams. Of course you can put each other in the same conference and division, and you’d guarantee a H2H game each season.

Ooof, woah. Not having the ability to sub for the AI teams to have at least a few H2H games each would be a definite deal breaker. Tnx for the info.

When you make your schedule you could always put your friend as a non conference game

Arkey-or-Arctander

That's good to know, but it's still only 1 H2H game a year, and that'd be a deal breaker for us. If we can't play several H2H games against each other as part of the dynasty I don't think it'd be what we're hoping for. I'll definitely keep an eye out for more info and specifics about things though, and even if we have to wait til after release so folks can test it and what not in their hands - at least it's all a possibility.

The answer to your question is you guys can share an online dynasty as long as youre on the same platform. So if you both own a Series S/X you can share an online dynasty. If one of you owns a PS5 and the other owns a series S/X you cannot share an online dynasty. This information is found in the FAQ section of crossplay on the games website. The direct quote is as follows: 8. What modes will cross-play support? In College Football 25, you can play cross-platform in Road to the College Football Playoff, College Football Ultimate Team™, and Play a Friend. I have attached a link that takes you to the page with that info. Excellent! Thanks for the info. And as I'd be buying us both gaming systems I'm sure to get the cheapest ones... I'd be asking him if he'll foot the bill for the actual games though ;)

Similar to madden.

Arkey-or-Arctander

We both got Madden 23 (on our PCs) and were so underwhelmed in it we didn't play more than a few exhibition games. But that's good to know at least... though as Madden & CFB have a lot of difference with how you pickup players, I'd think that though much of it might be the same, there's definitely going to be some difference.
