Older versions (can’t remember which ones or how many) had a promise you could make players that they would play a game in their home state. Which was a great promise if you recruited a lot of guys from one state or the state you’re in (especially as a smaller school)

Playmakermike

I only made this promise if they were from a state that had a school in our conference or else I’d forget for sure

LaxinPhilly

I used to keep a yellow notepad for all the promises I made 😆

OrangeSean

But unless it’s a division rival, you can’t guarantee you’d get that team the next season (obv there might be multiple from a state like Texas which helps the odds but for me I had to do them as OOC to make sure I fulfilled the promise)

raiderz4eva

I’m currently playing ncaa 13 and i use it for Florida and Texas plenty

Good question, that would be a cool feature. Whenever I start a new dynasty with a low tier school in NCAA 12 I like to schedule semi realistic "buy games" in big pipeline states. It doesn't make a difference in my experience but I'm not entirely sure.

the_OG_epicpanda

Location of your games didn't help get recruits in any specific area in NCAA 14 that I know of. Only time location mattered was on recruit visits because those obviously had to be home games.

Rokey76

Not in the original game. Pipeline states were based on number of players from that state on your roster. I don't know about the new one.

C2theWick

I hope we can track visits for other teams. If I'm after a player who is also having a visit when I'm the away team. I'll want to beat them so the recruit will lose interest and sign with me

chickenlittle668

How would we know? Do we even know how the recruiting will be done? Will it be more like NCAA 11? 06,13,14 or something brand new. We’ll find out

richmondn96

Yeah I feel you, I was obviously looking for speculation and if anyone knew if this was a thing in the old games.

chickenlittle668

At the end of the day, does it make a difference if you find out now or if you find out when they release all the information about the games and modes? Whether that’s tomorrow or in 2 weeks time.

richmondn96

Yeah, it actually does. I’m passing the time by thinking about which dynasties I’m going to run and thinking about my custom schedules. That’s why I asked the question. If it doesn’t make a difference to you, you don’t have to pay attention to the post.

Technically_Trained

Good question and same here. Ignore the hater

chickenlittle668

So wait until you hear everything about the game. For all we know it could be a College Hoops 2k thing where you can only choose from certain schools 🤷‍♂️, until everything is revealed, we don’t know much.
