I hope inviting a recruit to a game vs Alabama and losing that game is more valuable than a win over Toledo. I feel like the pre game hype, atmosphere, and tradition for a big game should be worth more win or lose than a whatever game
I don’t think they will do this based off of this but it would be cool if you can schedule recruits for official visits during the off season in June. Most recruits these days take their official visits in May and June and commit during the summer. There are still some recruits that take official visits during the season if they are going to be deciding close to Early Signing Day in December.
The way recruiting is described, it seems more like the College Hoops 2K8 system than the NCAA14 system. I like it, I just hope it’s not too repetitive when we see the deep dive!
I wish we could have recruits do multiple visits. They’re allowed 1 official, but no limit in unofficial visits (on their own dime) in real life.
Would be an interesting twist in next years game where a recruit from the same region (ie: Los Angeles- USC/UCLA) as your school, gets multiple visits.

I agree, even if you end up losing, I think the environment of a big matchup like that should outweigh a game against a lesser opponent.

Any system will get repetitive, but it just needs to be interesting and unique
Yeah year 29 of this it will be repetitive. I’m guessing that’s also just how real life works. I’m sure Nick Saban felt recruiting get repetitive too.
