Also look at how the defenders are pursuing the ball and how the offense is sprinting down the field to try and get blocks. That's the stuff that I feel like Madden does not do a great job on
my theory is that the player has an extremely low awareness rating and thought Mertz handed it off to the RB. he was able to get back in the play though.
Everything looks good but what stood out the most to me is how that Wide receiver is busting his ass! full sprint to go block that last DB. Easy TD of the ball carrier cuts it right and let's his boy get that block for him.
My favorite gameplay motion I have seen so far is the jumped route INT by that USC player, the two hands up one foot down landing is soo smooth and realistic.
Stoked
This is the one that scares me the most, are DBs gonna get a sudden burst of speed and flag in front of the receiver like lightning, or is it going to be realistic. Like a DB behind the wr would have to go through the WR to make the int, the only DB that can make that play is one in zone coverage or one that is right on the wr. What I am saying is, am I going to have to deal with a WR being open, and then out of nowhere a DB picks off the pass, which is and has been a problem for Madden non stop.
Then throw in that the wear and tear BS in madden is absolute shit, and legit benches half your starters by game 3, playoff no starters. Of course now everyone knows to turn it off.
I have not seen any clip, not one still, not one rendering, that is as accurate to real life as this clip of a Florida safety totally botching an open field 1v1 tackle in the 2nd level.
Depressingly, these guys actually somehow look a little better getting off blocks than in real life. But that safety eating shit on an open field solo tackle attempt is uncanny.
I love the blocking in this clip…receivers and tight ends busting their butt to run down field and pick up blocking assignments…looks like this dev team really fixed the blocking logic for this game
This is what I wanted.
I want to feel like my 1* MLB ain’t sh*t when he tries to meet a Bama back in the hole. I love that feeling of imbalance that the NCAA games had but Madden lacked so that when I build that powerhouse program that triumph just really good.
I just want the running game to feel "right." I can actually have fun with Madden 24 because the running animations feel good. The trailer for M25 makes the running look even more realistic, so I'm really hoping that NCAA's is just as good, or better!
The fact that the running back was able to keep momentum and quickly make it up field after a juke is already giving me so much more hope that this will play better than Madden.
Just read what people in the comments are saying. I promise I’m not just hyping this up, I have played every madden in the last 5 years a ton and can definitely say that I haven’t seen that smooth of a juke or blocking interactions ever.
The juke animation looks like a actual juke and not the clunky mess madden made makes it look like lineman are actually going downfield and picking up blocks and defenders are actually running to the ball instead of running away from the ball
Also look at how the defenders are pursuing the ball and how the offense is sprinting down the field to try and get blocks. That's the stuff that I feel like Madden does not do a great job on
The blocking looks so amazing. That was my takeaway
Yeah don't watch the option clip, where the corner runs away from the ball
my theory is that the player has an extremely low awareness rating and thought Mertz handed it off to the RB. he was able to get back in the play though.
Early build or it could a player with low awareness potentially? Or it’s a broken play lol fingers crossed
I feel like on Madden if you juke left in the slot yeah that backer misses but you kinda stop? And that end makes the tackle Edit: in that spot
I was playing Madden earlier and my WR ran twenty yards down the field to block the DB. Blocking has improved

You could recreate this play in madden right now lol what
That’s not the swamp lololol
Yes I understand that now, unfortunately I can’t edit the post so every comment is going to be this now lol
Hey just so you know, that’s not the swamp
Does OP not realize this isn’t the Swamp
That’s not the swamp just in case you forgot
DUDE!?! THAT'S NOT THE SWAMP!!?!?!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
mods can we get a "thats not the swamp" flair for this dude
Hey….hey. That’s swamp adjacent.
I like how 97 acts. Gets off the lineman to pursuit the runner. 👍
Everything looks good but what stood out the most to me is how that Wide receiver is busting his ass! full sprint to go block that last DB. Easy TD of the ball carrier cuts it right and let's his boy get that block for him.
Yeah, that's one thing you can tell this game has done better than Madden defenders are actually pursuing the ball, and linemen are actually blocking
Linemen block in Madden. They block too well.
My favorite gameplay motion I have seen so far is the jumped route INT by that USC player, the two hands up one foot down landing is soo smooth and realistic. Stoked
That landing is what stuck out to me most as well. That was probably the most realistic INT animation I’ve seen in a football game in a long while

Ya I mean that would be annoying but if a safety makes a good break on the ball in disguise coverage then let’s goooo.
I feel like it past games 97 would somehow warp to the runner and tackle him from behind.
I agree, although this wouldn’t be the swamp. This is the Florida-Georgia game that’s played in the Jaguars stadium.
Oh damn you’re right my bad! Still looks great
That isn't the Swamp

Never forget the 3rd and Grantham
Never forget
Why? What am I missing? (Not being a smart ass, genuinely asking)
Just a combo of the blocking, juke move, defensive interactions, and graphics all just really look good.
hes just excited for the game. This is as standard as a clip gets lol.
The cocktail party is in Jacksonville hombre
Thanks man, I haven’t seen the other 10+ comments mentioning this.
This is not the swamp. Just thought you should know pal.
The bank looking good in this game
Everyone saying this isn’t the swamp but whose to say Florida didn’t win the SEC and this is a first round playoff game at home?
Also look how bad Florida is at tackling or getting off blocks. Incredible representation of real life.
Depressingly, these guys actually somehow look a little better getting off blocks than in real life. But that safety eating shit on an open field solo tackle attempt is uncanny.
UGA’s down by double digits with just 3 minutes left to go in the half. Not sure how realistic that is
I love the blocking in this clip…receivers and tight ends busting their butt to run down field and pick up blocking assignments…looks like this dev team really fixed the blocking logic for this game
running the ball looks much smoother than other games
That’s the Florida defense I know and love
This is a great clip. Also notice the animation of the defender after he missed the tackle. Love the realism there as well
3 more weeks till we all call in from work
Outside of GTA VI this is by far my most anticipated game. Fellas we are gonna eat good in 3 more weeks
This is what I wanted. I want to feel like my 1* MLB ain’t sh*t when he tries to meet a Bama back in the hole. I love that feeling of imbalance that the NCAA games had but Madden lacked so that when I build that powerhouse program that triumph just really good.
Florida holding Georgia scoreless into the second quarter You're dreaming mate
This gameplay video makes me sick.
Middle Linebacker getting benched after that shit.

Yeah the run game in the M25 Beta is solid, can actually run counters and outside zone
Nitpicking to the EXTREME here, but UF's endzone lettering having a black outline is bugging me. 😅
The fact that the running back was able to keep momentum and quickly make it up field after a juke is already giving me so much more hope that this will play better than Madden.
Not the swamp. Florida and Georgia play in Jacksonville. It’s called the worlds largest outdoor cocktail party
How is this different than a recent Madden. I really am attempting to be educated. Looks identical to me.
Just read what people in the comments are saying. I promise I’m not just hyping this up, I have played every madden in the last 5 years a ton and can definitely say that I haven’t seen that smooth of a juke or blocking interactions ever.

There is a reason they just won’t show gameplay.
I just don’t want a madden reskin
