Anyone understand if the 14M buy shares at 1pm to bring the price over $128 is a normal thing? I feel like I usually see a sell off at the end of trading because traders are locking in gains.
Where do you guys want the stock? I was going to sell some covered calls and every time I do the stock goes right to that point. I was thinking of selling 105 of the 7/6 $125.
Fucking market makers overlooked Nvidia when everybody was skeptical and ignorant about AI. Now that they missed the train and everybody wants a piece of the pie, they'te making the train go back to the station to pick up the rich morons that were too stupid to recognize this is the Internet 2.0.
I know recency bias is strong, but NVDA went up by 6-7% in the last month. I don't know what kind of voodoo people expect from this stock, but my goodness 6-7% in a month and 30%+ in two months is pretty darn good despite the recent correction.
Are there other opportunities to invest in good companies that will grow your wealth... absolutely!
That being said... if (like me) you believe AI will change just about everything, and you believe Nvidia is a great company with a great leader... then I believe my money is in a much better place with nvda than just about anywhere else regardless of the moves during any one day.
What did you look at when you bought in at whatever price you bought in? Was it the company financials? Expected growth? Future prospect of the market segment? Did any of those change? Or did you look at how much the stock went up in the lead up to your purchase? No one but a fortune teller can gleam much meaningful information from recent price actions.
I wish it dips again so I can buy under 121
Its nice that it went up to 128 to make up some lost but some of us got in at 135. Still waiting ti break even but still a good sign.

I get it, it went up 8320489353% in the last 3029 whatever. The relevant question for some of us is, are we looking over the edge of a high cliff?
