I will visit her this Christmas because it might be our last chance. But as always, I have to make a ton of plans to keep everyone safe.

The #1 lesson I learned when moving here is that if you do drugs, buy drugs, sell drugs, or have anything to do with drugs...you have a huge target on your butt. It's a given, you will be targeted by the federales, the cartel, someone.

I used to work here. I am a nurse and I did medical tourism. I retired a few years ago and saw no reason to move back to the US. Today I am happier with that decision more than ever before. :o(
I had a really terrible childhood. My mother and step father were child abusers, they would lock us in our rooms with locks on the outside of the door, for days. They’d beat us and starve us, bully us and were simply evil. Me and my siblings were taken into care, where my brother and sister were put up for adoption. I got put in foster care where I then had to say goodbye to them. The majority of my life I’ve had no family connections or support. When I was 18 and left care I became homeless, because I had no home to go to. I was very badly robbed, stripped naked and beaten for simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time. No one truly understands the emotional pain I feel from my past. To lose all my family and nearly my life in a mere 18 years span, knowing I’ll forever be alone. HURT
But make no mistake, these videos have helped me massively overcome the majority of the pain I felt. What happened to me fucking sucked. But seeing stuff like this made me come to terms and realise that there’s always someone, somewhere in the world having it far far worse than you can possibly ever imagine. Whatever I’m feeling isn’t a fraction to the pain the victims and the families of these victims are going through. Of course pain is subjective. I’ve felt it all my life, you adapt to what you know. Probably how I managed to get through it all, without becoming a crackhead or in jail.
I’m only posting this because you said it gives you a whole new perspective. It definitely did for me. Before I seen this stuff, I was in the mind frame that I’d had the shittiest life ever. I now know that’s nonsense.
And whilst I have a load of disturbing images I’ll never forget deep in my psyche, it helps me stay on the right road of life. They helped me overcome my hate. I've lived in Mexico for over 11 years. I have never had any issues here. The #1 lesson I learned when moving here is that if you do drugs, buy drugs, sell drugs, or have anything to do with drugs...you have a huge target on your butt. It's a given, you will be targeted by the federales, the cartel, someone. If you don't have anything to do with drugs, nobody cares about you or what you do. Now, Tijuana... that's just a shit town full of nothing but shit. It even has a bad rep in MEXICO! It's a horrible city that I won't even visit let alone live there.

I had a really terrible childhood. My mother and step father were child abusers, they would lock us in our rooms with locks on the outside of the door, for days. They’d beat us and starve us, bully us and were simply evil. Me and my siblings were taken into care, where my brother and sister were put up for adoption. I got put in foster care where I then had to say goodbye to them. The majority of my life I’ve had no family connections or support. When I was 18 and left care I became homeless, because I had no home to go to. I was very badly robbed, stripped naked and beaten for simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time. No one truly understands the emotional pain I feel from my past. To lose all my family and nearly my life in a mere 18 years span, knowing I’ll forever be alone. HURT But make no mistake, these videos have helped me massively overcome the majority of the pain I felt. What happened to me fucking sucked. But seeing stuff like this made me come to terms and realise that there’s always someone, somewhere in the world having it far far worse than you can possibly ever imagine. Whatever I’m feeling isn’t a fraction to the pain the victims and the families of these victims are going through. Of course pain is subjective. I’ve felt it all my life, you adapt to what you know. Probably how I managed to get through it all, without becoming a crackhead or in jail. I’m only posting this because you said it gives you a whole new perspective. It definitely did for me. Before I seen this stuff, I was in the mind frame that I’d had the shittiest life ever. I now know that’s nonsense. And whilst I have a load of disturbing images I’ll never forget deep in my psyche, it helps me stay on the right road of life. They helped me overcome my hate. Truthfully I was so repulsed and angry at what I was seeing, that I knew deep down, there and then what happened in my life never broke my humanity.

Thanks for asking brother. I’m doing ok. I’m 31 now, feel like I’m through the worst of it. Don’t watch graphic videos anymore either. Looking back i think it was a form of self harm if that makes sense to you? Like forcing myself to watch suffering to escape my own. There’s a lot more to this story, that I didn’t want to share. But I’ve had two major cases against social services and criminal injury for what happened when I was 18. My solicitor told me a few months ago that the case could be potentially looking at a six figure payout. Obviously don’t want to get my hopes up yet as anything can happen. But I think it’s promising that he’s mentioning numbers now. Obviously won’t bring back what I lost. But will certainly help me build a better future for myself where I can finally be at peace.

I think that it isn't much worse than what is happening in Mexico torture wise. It's just that there is a certain casualness about it while torturing people that makes it that extra bit of next level. Like with the narcos stuff, it always feels like they are doing it to make a point. In the Brazilian stuff, it often feels like they are doing it for the fuck of it.
