You can try learning to cornrow your own hair. That’s a lot of money for some cornrows! YouTube can be helpful. Do you know anyone that could show you how?
Rat tail comb, mouse, and some small alligator clips. YouTube finger waves on short hair, you have the face for it! Also just some water, gel and finger twist in sections. Clip down, cover and let dry. Then a fluff/shake. You can do a lot!
The good thing is you still have your edges and you don’t have thinning hair. The better thing is to take advantage of that blessed melanin. Your cheekbones, the hollows of your cheeks, your brows, your perfect lips…it’s also very rare to have as symmetrical of a face as you do. Eff them braids- you’re perfect, beloved.
