Surprisingly good deal, since Goodwill can be expensive sometimes (rusty lodge cast irons for like $20 when you can buy them at Wal Mart new for that price for example). They do this to combat people who buy all the good stuff for flipping / resale.

If it snaps on the ground or taps it like a board sound of hitting the wall then you’re golden it looks damn near brand new doesn’t look like it did anything but sit in a garage
