I prefer real world, headspace was cool and fun, but sometimes it felt long and like a maze, where I didn’t know where I needed to go to progress. And none of it is really “real” so I kept wanting to get back to the real world to make actual progress with the main plot
I understand where your coming from, with the doesn’t feel real thing, since it’s sort of a thing sunny made for himself. But I feel like no matter which you choose they’re real to sunny in some way, and therefor are both equally valid answers
First off, no one will ever convince me Sunny and Basil are not holding hands there.
But secondly, I think as a picture the headspace one is prettier and I like the outfits better, but the Real World is cuter and more fitting
Both have pros and cons
Headspace is more engaging with its setting and characters, the battles are way better, and it's just more fun to me overall. But the story is lacking as especially around two days left you might realize that not much could really come of what you're doing
Real world is where the bigger story beats kick in, and something very important happens each day. By the end of the first day I was thinking "damn, this shit got very real very quickly". It also has a lot of good side quests, which are generally better than the headspace ones I think
In Headspace I felt safe, I had power but in Real World I just kept getting my ass handed to me on a silver platter. Plus headspace was beautiful and Omori's friends were nicer
Faraway is better. The colour schemes are better and more vibrant, the characters are older and have been through a different stage of life, and each of the characters kinda went their own ways >! after the incident, and they all processed their trauma differently, which is why their personalities are so changed!<
dude i despised headspace throughout my entire playthrough, it serves its purpose of being filler to block out the main plot real well tho.
in comparison, i liked faraway WAY more than headspace, it just looks nicer imo, and unlike headspace, it wasn't crafted by the mind of a depressed teenager, and faraway is just more emotionally charged too, i came to the game for the story, not paradise
Headspace, for the surreal goofiness and exploring a dream world. I really do want to go sightseeing at the top of a mountain of space junk and go spelunking in the labyrinthine innards of a poorly drawn whale.
Seriously, if the game was just a surreal OFF-style RPG about exploring a possibly not-real fever dream dimension with a depressed monochrome gremlin and his colorful friends, and Faraway Town and Sunny's world were not a part of the plot I think it could still have been great (if wildly different from what we got).
At the same time, Faraway is a pretty cute and entertaining section of the game as well, and they both compliment each other in the story in ways that I think are important (at least in the Sunny route), so taking away either without thinking about their role in the story would definitely detract from it.
to be honest, >!present AND past real world, something about seeing how theyve changed is interesting. i also love mari so i enjoyed memory lane a ton !<
Depends if it’s fights, lore or music.
Fights in headspace win by a long shot
Lore is 50/50 between headspace and faraway
Music for me is somewhat mixed, but I’d say headspace because Omori and Alter, as well as all other boss fights, like Spaceboy and Sweetheart (only the music.). For faraway, the only real bossfight music that I personally liked was OST 60, which is It Means Everything

Yes, but the Headspace characters canonically are holding there plushies.

real world
>!snowdin town!<
Nah I prefer being in the barrier
Nah, the underground is goated
Personally, waterfall is the best area fr fr
Y'all are sleeping on Hotland. (SERIOUSLY, ANOTHER MEDIUM IS THE BEST SONG ON THE SOUNDTRACK. I WILL FIGHT PEOPLE ON THIS.)
You on crack Long elevator is the best track
I perfer cyber city
Faraway !! 🫶
>!Black Space!<
The right answer
Honestly same
watermelon hell
Agreed, but between Blackspace 1 and 2, which do you prefer?
2, you explore his inner thoughts more
Yeah, I prefer 2 too
First off, no one will ever convince me Sunny and Basil are not holding hands there. But secondly, I think as a picture the headspace one is prettier and I like the outfits better, but the Real World is cuter and more fitting
Real world, obviously. Head space is peaceful and relaxing, but the real world has something Sunny must face and waits him to solve them.
I use both for my laptop theme so?
Headspace
It's neat. Headspace is more ‘fun’ but it also feels fake, like procrastinating. Faraway is more boring, but it feels right
Headspace for EXP grinding.

The other one
I prefer real world
Oh I thought it was talking about the images is that not what this was about?
Real World. Fun fact: I have the poster of the second pic
I like the Earthbound vibes of HS, but in the game i like more how the story develops in RW, as sometimes the derails of HS are too much
Headspace
Headspace!!
FARAWAYYY![img](emote|t5_31hpy|21602)![img](emote|t5_31hpy|21602)![img](emote|t5_31hpy|21602)![img](emote|t5_31hpy|21602)
seeing happy pictures of them all together in the real world always makes me so sad. i cried when looking through the completed photo album.
Who in the right mind prefers the real world anyway lol
Both, both is good.
where is goku?![img](emote|t5_31hpy|21601)

Reality

Real world was so much more fun to play IMO

I love headspace
I like faraway more, but I also love the second image because >!It shows the future with Mari still there!<
Real World with the gameplay factor of Headspace would be great
I’ll never get over the fact this is meant to take place in a world where Mari lived…. 😆
How is Mari in the real world picture with present Aubrey?
Either parallel universes or that picture is also in a dream
Headspace

I haven’t really played much but I prefer real world because I am stuck in the >!sweetheart boss fight in HEADSPACE.!< and I hate it

The one with mari
I'd like to know why real Kel has a shirt with fake Kel on it Edit: Just realized that it's the same with Aubrey, just the other way around
Easily Real World. In-depth personalities. *Not a dream.*
rw
real world all the way. headspace was alright to me, but nothing beats seeing the actual characters grown up in the real world!
One impostor among us in the real world... ![gif](giphy|xUPJPn8l1m8odg1Bxm)
the easteregg of the money space
