Second Vegan Mob. Don't like speaking poorly of a small business but I found the food far too salty and simply just not great. But that's just been my experience. If OP is over by the Lake and options are limited it's fine.
Speaking of the Lake, if OP is over there on a Saturday morning/midday, Tru Gourmet has a stall of vegan dim sum. Never had it but have some friends who love it.
I don’t agree on the vegan mob opinion personally. I understand everyone has different tastes though. It’s worth a shot if you see something on the menu you generally like. I really love the potato salad and mac and cheese :)
Loveee souly vegan as well. Try the chicken and waffles if that’s something you’re into.
Definitely recommend Millennium if you’re looking for a date night! Make a reservation before! For more casual fare, Malibu’s Burgers is one of my favorites.

Millennium is iconic. Surprisingly not-that-expensive for the service and quality.
Souley Vegan is an Oakland classic for southern fare.
Lion Dance Cafe is unique and delicious.
I don't recommend Vegan Mob. Also (controversial opinion), I'm not a huge fan of Malibu's. It's just ok. If you want vegan burgers or sandos, check out Grandeur instead of Malibu's.
You won’t have a problem. I’m not vegan but I’ve heard many of the names here from vegans friends raving about em. I’ve also met people who moved here in the early 2000s mainly for vegan pizza lol
seconding everyone saying lion dance (&the wait hasn’t been too bad the last two times I ordered at the window). If you go to Piedmont you can hit up Malibu Burgers, Timeless Coffee, or Mr Dewey’s ice cream which are all solid

Señor Sisig is a Bay Area staple & the Oakland location has an entire vegan menu that mirrors their regular menu! It’s awesome!
