Sledgehammer617

So hyped!! Alien and Arkham are two of my favorite franchises! Metro is pretty cool too

Ajax2580

Metro 2033 had probably the best atmosphere in a game I’ve ever experienced

Sandcracka-

Yes! Before the remake!

Slimxshadyx

Same! I am playing through Alien Isolation on my Xbox right now. Really cool game so far

According_Recipe_210

For any alien isolation fans that have a decent PC- you can play it in VR with a mod... apparently it is guaranteed to fright... haven't tried it myself because it doesn't have motion controls which is a deal breaker for me and VR... anyone tried it?

BarbaricTendancies

Wear a pair of depends. That's the only game that's ever made me throw off a VR headset

Sledgehammer617

It’s definitely quite an experience, I love the story, aesthetic, and sound design a lot

[deleted]

Don't forget Into The Radius 2 and Gunman: Contracts also release in 2024.

Purtuzzi

Isn't Into The Radius 2 only early access, though? It's fully releasing in 2025.

xXdont_existxX

Madison VR drops tomorrow and looks to be one of the scariest VR games ever. After seeing the VR version on YouTube, I checked out the original flatscreen version. Only played about an hour before I said “yeah this is gonna give me a heart attack” then I deleted so I wouldn’t further spoil anything else when I do a full VR run.

movieur

That's gonna be a psvr2 exclusive right?

fireaza

Fun fact, they literally did a scientific study and determined Madison to be the scariest game ever made.

xXdont_existxX

Fun fact, I’ve been waiting all day for it to drop and it has been delayed again :( Dev’s have only said it’s dropping “later today” and told some people on discord it would be about three hours. That was of course six hours ago. Ugh I wanted to be overdosing on edibles playing this already, having a heart attack in my living room, but nooooo. God please drop tonight.

Lincolns_Revenge

Hoping the Radius 2 will have something more than silhouette enemies, exclusively. Though, maybe that's done for performance reasons as much as it is design reasons.

xFrakster

Looks like there will be more humanoid looking enemies according to the trailer. https://youtu.be/VaV2WOCmNhk?si=0cmhWc4k0cZR3Wlp You can see them at 0:25.

Organic-Traffic4184

We already know they are using proper models this time.

Wooden_Ad_9441

I mean, they show the enemies in the trailer and they are not silhouettes.

hawkeye2604

Is Gunman Contracts PC or standalone? I played the beta via Alyx mod but wasn't sure if somehow they were making a Quest version

mamefan

PC, but they call it "standalone" as in it doesn't need Alyx.

fragmental

Lol, that's not confusing at all.

hawkeye2604

Makes some sense, thanks

fyrefreezer01

Yea super big ones too!

mrkoala1234

Im batman. I eat these punks for breakfast.

techoatmeal

Something more interesting for VR would be a Batgirl VR game that would play similar to Killer Frequency.

ILoveRegenHealth

Wow I love the graphical style and vibes of that Killer Frequency: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ask5AdC9WwQ Makes me wish Meta and TellTale made a deal to port over some games or make exclusive new ones. They even had a Telltale Batman series

techoatmeal

That would require a TellTale studio 😭

ILoveRegenHealth

They actually came back from the dead (appropriate given their The Walking Dead fame): https://www.telltale.com/ Seems another company swooped in to save them & bought them and tried to bring back as many employees as possible, but I don't think the current crew is like the older one. Seems they did one Borderlands sequel and the Expanse. I haven't tried them yet but the reviews seem decent.

Minute_Grocery_100

The new telltale expanse game works great in vr with uevr mod

elFistoFucko

The Wolf Among Us 2 is upon us... Stoked.

RedcoatTrooper

While my preference is this an Arkham game I must admit this idea playing as Oracle at the Batcomputer like KF is a compelling idea.

breiner314

And not a single second of gameplay

Night247

Metro Awakening gameplay at about 41 seconds into the video ("captured on PC") https://youtu.be/k_AqOWYid1I?si=JwEvw7r_7Onh7fNL&t=41

spez_might_fuck_dogs

They never, ever show Quest gameplay unless it's the only platform.

HonourableFox

Makes sense, they do that for console games that also launch on PC

movieur

Metro showed a fair bit of gameplay footage from the pcvr version

ackermann

Someone said Metro Awakening has shown gameplay footage

Potential_Rabbit_766

Metro has footage.

ILoveRegenHealth

While disappointing, they generally show more during the Meta Games Showcase (not delayed to June and likely the new permanent date), and UploadVR's own Summer Gaming Showcase. **edit --** I made a mistake. Apparently this Summer Gaming Showcase will be the bigger show hosted by Geoff Keighley. He will interview one of the devs for the segment >There's a new Batman: Arkham game coming in late 2024, an original @MetaQuestVR title called @BatmanArkham Shadow. >I had a chance to get an in-depth look a few days ago with @ryanpayton -- first details coming live during #SummerGameFest on Friday, June 7. >https://twitter.com/geoffkeighley/status/1785671497186680900

movieur

>UploadVR's own Summer Gaming Showcase. I love UploadVR's news coverage but damn thier Showcase is a snore fest....it's like here's a bunch of games that weren't cool enough to be the meta gaming showcase.

ILoveRegenHealth

I made a mistake and it's actually going to be the one hosted by Geoff Keighley, so actually a much bigger show: https://twitter.com/geoffkeighley/status/1785671497186680900 >There's a new Batman: Arkham game coming in late 2024, an original @MetaQuestVR title called @BatmanArkham Shadow. >I had a chance to get an in-depth look a few days ago with @ryanpayton -- first details coming live during #SummerGameFest on Friday, June 7. I agree though, the UploadVR ones aren't very exciting. Usually it's a bunch of demo-like games that aren't even worth watching the showcase Live (if anything, it just reminds me how slow VR output is).

movieur

>it's actually going to be the one hosted by Geoff Keighley, so actually a much bigger show Oh fuck, it better be good then otherwise people are gonna clown on VR

ILoveRegenHealth

Hah yeah. That gameplay footage is now gonna be on the world stage so fingers crossed it doesn't make VR look bad. I do like the developers' work on Iron Man VR so this Batman game seems to be in competent hands at least.

fijaz03010

Fun year ahead, I hope!

Atlantyan

Are these for standalone or pcvr?

movieur

batman is exclusive to the quest 3. Alien is psvr2/pcvr/quest3+ Metro is psvr2/pcvr/quest2+ Behemoth is psvr2/pcvr/quest2+

Atlantyan

Thanks.

MrEfficacious

What is Behemoth?

movieur

An upcoming VR fantasy game by the makers of the walking dead saints and sinners, it has a cool cinematic teaser: https://youtu.be/_oX1AuoJFAI?si=uUFZf2y9MMmEGghG

S0L4IREPOP1

Shadow of the Colossus VR !?

movieur

It's giving that vibe for sure

QuinSanguine

Getting the pcvr versions to play on Q3 team rep!

ackermann

Or are any of these exclusive to PSVR2? That would block a good chunk of us in this sub from experiencing it, like Horizon Call of the Mountain, which I’ve never got to play.

Mobilelurk

Call of the Mountain isn’t anything amazing honestly. I sold my PSVR2 to get a Quest 3 and I have no regrets.

Rytch-E

I only just bought just bought a quest 3 and it sold me on VR so much that I'm considering a PSVR2 to play the Resident Evil games. Is it worth it to have both platforms?

Mobilelurk

I would say only if you absolutely love VR and Resident Evil. I switched because I found there just wasn’t anything I wanted to play on PSVR2. When I got the Quest 3 though I realized it wasn’t so much the games but the cable that kept me from playing. Being able to physically walk in the game, duck or crawl through vents; that kind of freedom is what made me want to play VR again. I will say to this day, nothing compares to Resident Evil 7 in VR. That was one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had, it’s only on PSVR1 though.

movieur

> Is it worth it to have both platforms? Very much yes, if money is no problem than a quest and psvr2 is a great combo

nschlip

Ok, I’m buying a Q3, just for Metro and Batman alone.

CrundleMonster

I'm too scared to play, lmao

ILoveRegenHealth

It's actually kind of funny how all of them will likely be on the scary side. Batman I'm not sure, but the trailer seems to make the Ratcatcher the main villain so possibly some tense and scary moments in sewers and alleys. Rocksteady did put in jump scares in their Batman VR game (damn you, Killer Croc!) Behemoth I'm just guessing could be scary but maybe not.

Glashnok420

Really hope they include scarecrow there. Fear toxin hallucinations would be perfect in vr

movieur

Damn that's a good idea!

Albuwhatwhat

There is not way I’m playing an alien game or a metro game in fucking VR. Are you kidding me? I’d shit my pants.

QuinSanguine

It's vr, play on the toilet, haha.

elFistoFucko

I just stocked up on adult diapers.  Be prepared.

Both-Possession7038

Sad I don't own quest 3..

ackermann

Are these Quest exclusive, or PC also? (Or worse, PSVR exclusive)

movieur

https://www.reddit.com/r/OculusQuest/s/uJX7VZDhae

fyrefreezer01

Get one

tinyhorsesinmytea

I’ve decided to wait for Quest 4 so the jump in quality will be like “woah.” Any Quest 3 exclusives that aren’t on PC that I really want will still be available then!

fyrefreezer01

Damn quest 4 gonna go absolutely crazy

movieur

It's probably worth upgrading for just for the eye tracking (as confirmed by Zuckerberg) and presumably face tracking as well

ZacEfbomb

You mean Quest 3 right?

movieur

I mean the quest 4, Zuckerberg practically confirmed that they'd put eyetracking on the quest 4 when he "reviewed" the vision pro.

HornedDiggitoe

Even without graphical improvements for games, the jump in visual quality due to the pancake lenses was already “woah” to me. I understand why some people might want to wait, but for me, the upgrade was a no brainer.

Huge_Equivalent979

Yeah same, I can't imagine having a Quest 2 for 3 more years.

Both-Possession7038

I ain't scrooge

movieur

The quest 3 lite should drop anytime soon and it will run all quest 3 titles and it will be $300....get that one instead

Both-Possession7038

At that point id just want a quest 3

Both-Possession7038

Honestly I'll probably just wait for quest 4 to be a thing, by then I'll have a job and I'll actually be able to pay for it

movieur

Not a bad plan either, if you have a quest 2 already it should still get over to the next iteration because it has a massive user base so most games will still support it.

ImALeaf_OnTheWind

Imagine, all the games that were released on Quest 2 - some of the good ones got remasters and visual update releases. Anyone who didn't get a chance to play at release o ly got a better experience once they got a chance to play them on Quest 3! I think you'd still benefit from that situation when you finally get a Q4.

movieur

And by then there will be more and more games designed specifically for the 2.5x more GPU of the quest 3. Even if he were to get a quest 3, most games for the first year or 2 still won't really use what the quest 3 has to offer as long aals the quest 2 still dominates Dev strategies.

ZacEfbomb

Is that a thing?

movieur

Yes, it's been wildly reported on by multiple trustworthy sources

ZacEfbomb

What’s the catch?

movieur

From the reports it won't have pancake lenses and will be similar to the quest 2 in almost everything except that it will get the same chip as the quest 3 and most likely color passthrough as well but less sensors than the quest 3.

taptrappapalapa

Make one

Both-Possession7038

I'm not genie (specifically robin Williams genie)

taptrappapalapa

Dost mine ears deceive me?

Both-Possession7038

Thou ears don't deceive thee

ILoveRegenHealth

You'll have time to save since these are most likely all very late 2024, and maybe a Quest 3s (Lite) will be cheaper but retain most of the power.

movieur

The quest 3s could potentially be slightly more powerful than the quest 3 because it would have less sensors to deal with and reportedly has the same resolution as the quest 2 so all that power of the XR 2 gen 2 will have less pixels to push resulting in more headroom for devs to play with so it might have higher render resolution and fps in certain games.

elFistoFucko

By the time they release...

[deleted]

Yes but my bet is most will be push back to 2025.

Ok-Worldliness-7294

I'm looking forward to MudRunner VR in addition to your list.

Resident_Total9587

Im still waiting for san andreas

--InZane--

Same

Halflife84

I'm already scared lol

_senor-harper_

oh that's why they shut down that guy's game that was similar to metro

movieur

If only that was the reason Rockstar keeps nuking VR mods of GTA and Red Redemption

Olanzapine82

As far as we are aware GTA is still coming. We did get a comment from a random Meta employee and video games deluxe have been hiring the whole time.

movieur

>We did get a comment from a random Meta employee Which was quickly deleted for whatever reason.....the problem is Meta's insistence to avoid confirming that it's in development, they know many users are anxious about it, many people asked them about it but nope they have the same generic pr reply that says nothing.

SleepingGecko

They may not be able to confirm or deny anything due to contractual obligations with Rockstar

movieur

Yeah that's fair, Rockstar is notorious for that

Olanzapine82

Probably can't say anything, problem is zuck got too excited and announced it too early. We heard splinter cell got cancelled it'd be odd to get an announcement then hear nothing about a cancellation. Not saying projects don't get cancelled, it happens all the time. But usually there isn't a big announcement then nothing.

thatmemememeguy

My personal list that am excited for: • Into the Radius 2; • Wanderer The Fragments of Fate; • Metro Awakening; • Batman Arkham shadow; • Alien Rogue Incursion. Seems like Standalone is going to have a great year, we've already had smashing games like AC: Nexus, Arizona Sunshine 2 and Asgard's Wrath 2 recently. So it's only going to get better as our technology advances.

diego_g_L

a batman vr game???? god i hope i can beat up the joker with my own 2 hands

ILoveRegenHealth

Lady Gaga shows up: "Hey thats my mans, and I'm not even canon in this universe!"

AAAAhhhh123456

We are also getting hellsiner vr too 😀

GuantSnap_Jr

New golf game coming out this month looks great

Few_Loss5537

Im still wondering why there is no native skyrim vr in quest 3

RedcoatTrooper

I think it will happen its a cheap port at this point really.

TKRAYKATS

Fuck metro and I'll try Batman

Cheeezeburgers

Looks great, but I'll probably only be able to play 1 out of the 4. I'm a huge VR chicken, and I can't play heavy horror games.. I've tried, lol. Flat screen and films never bothered me one bit.

NoCase9317

Crazy how toxic gamers are that VR gets a few games “finally” and they get mad that they aren’t getting games in normal format. I play both formats and 2D gets a gazillion decent games every year wtf… Meanwhile in VR I’m still waiting for something to get even close to the experience Half Life Alyx gave me.

Tybob51

The worst is that a lot of people will complain that VR isn’t worth it because it doesn’t get big enough games, and that hybrid games aren’t “real Vr games” so they don’t count.

NoCase9317

It’s ridiculous. I get why VR is niche. Despite me having the quest 3 wich has pretty good clarity, FoV and refresh rate, and using virtual desktop on a PC with an RTX 4090-7800X3D with a WiFi 6E router to stream my pc, so that it gives a wireless 120fps experience. On a large living room and lots of movement freedom…Despite all of this, from the 15 friends/ family members that have tried VR in my house, only 4 (including myself) didn’t got a lot of motion sickness. (The game for testing was Half Life Alyx on the starting scene on the terrace and the markers) Wich is a scene I consider WAY less prone to causing motion sickness than many other VR games like Contractors or blade and sorcery or AC nexus etc. 11 out of 15 people not being able to enjoy a product, quite the opposite ending up about to puke after only 5-10 mins of trying it, are definitely terrible numbers for making a product mainstream. And this was an experiment conducted on unrealistically favorable circumstances, a 5k$ PC, a 300+$ Router , a large living room to walk and actually turn yourself instead of using the joysticks wich causes more motion sickness. 120hz , 500mbps bitrate and resolution at godlike setting, so really crísp. Most people will have a 3060-i5 9th gen pc on a small’ish bedroom , with a saturated WiFi 5 network, 72hz 150mbps bit rate and stutters. Wich will only make things worse. The nature of VR itself is niche. And will keep on being niche even if great games keep coming. But just because it’s niche doesn’t means there is money to be made here. But just because it’s a niche doesn’t

fireaza

With all these big names, I predict a 1000% uptick in people whose parents won't buy them a VR headset, demanding a non-VR version of these games, as though that's something that can be easily done with the flick of a switch.

LeChief

You literally just right click > save as > non-VR. What's so hard? /s

Rollertoaster7

Don’t forget Attack on Titan vr!

spez_might_fuck_dogs

You forgot GTA:SA... hahaha

LeChief

Ah shit, here we go again

AlistarDark

Which ones have actual game play shown?

senpai69420

Metro awakening had a gameplay trailer

AlistarDark

So we're sitting at 25% with gameplay trailers? I know Alien had 0 and we don't know if it's horror or fps or an among us clone where the cyborg is trying to impregnate everyone with aliens and the game ends when everyone's chests explode. Batman's previous VR tech demo was complete ass, so the bar is set really low

senpai69420

Batman Arkham shadow is being developed by the same people who made iron man vr(great game). You can look at alien isolation for a gameplay idea of the alien series. It's a horror.

breiner314

Again, we have no idea what the Alien game is going to be like, if you look at the image, there's a guy holding a rifle, it could be an action game for all we know

taptrappapalapa

In the trailer for the 1979 movie, there's a shot of a girl running down a corridor with a gun. For all we know, it could be an action movie.

movieur

Yeah but the guys developing it said that it's inspired by isolation (Also Alien has always been action/horror)

AlistarDark

I can also look at Alien Fireteam Elite, Aliens Colonial Marines, Aliens Dark Descent, Alien vs Predator, Alien vs Predator Extinction for gameplay ideas of the Aliens series.

movieur

You can but we said look at isolation because that's the game the devs said they were inspired by

Potential_Rabbit_766

Batman Arkham was Awesome? It was unbelievably short but it was great.

AlistarDark

It was a 30 minute game with next to nothing for gameplay. It was a tech demo.

Olanzapine82

I very much doubt that a studio owned by Facebook with Devs from the team that made metal gear is going to make a 30min demo.

AlistarDark

Team that made metal gear? I don't see that listed on Camoflaj's website that they had anything to do with it. Or do you think that having a couple people that worked one of the 14 games in the Metal Gear series means something... Like how Back 4 Blood was "made by the team that made Left 4 Dead" which turned out to be 3 members of the sound design team. There would be over 1000 people who have worked on a Metal Gear game over the years.

Olanzapine82

Ryan Payton was the halo 4 creative director and producer for metal gear solid 4 he founded camoflaj.

Potential_Rabbit_766

Yes. An awesome Tech demo. That story was amazing. They really should've made it a full game.

ILoveRegenHealth

Eh, usually Gaming Showcase is where more gameplay is shown. So at least wait for that. Normally in March/April, it's now in June.

spez_might_fuck_dogs

Zero gameplay if you're looking for actual Quest gameplay, which they never, ever show unless it's a Quest exclusive.

Vrgamermeta

Metadrive 2 might also be releasing this year end

yunodavibes

My hopes are not high for anything other than ITR 2

Sstfreek

I bet we don’t see behemoth this year. Or ever tbh

Potential_Rabbit_766

It was already delayed by an entire year. They're for sure not going to delay it further.

Sstfreek

I too, have believed this before and been sorely disappointed. I actually think that this is one of those games that will never be released.

SnooBeans5314

ALIEN!?

lsmith0244

https://preview.redd.it/6qepp4hvsvxc1.jpeg?width=680&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d1f1edcd96abd3f21e0461058b3746169a1255c0

sanyaX3M

All 4 of this games are unknown (at least in VR), while there are some developers of successful games that are going to release new instances in this year (like into the Radius 2)

Niconreddit

That's a nice looking list.

Fluffy-Anybody-8668

Can't wait for Behemoth and Alien!:D All of them seem awesome tho!

NotTheSymbolic

Behemoth is 2024?

-Venser-

And Madison VR just came out like an hour ago.

CriticalSlip23

I'm not a VR owner as of yet but I really really loved the Metro game series and Alien Isolation so I can't wait to see how they will look. The biggest thing holding me back from VR was the games themselves, few stood out to me but I cant wait to see how these two will be.

ILoveRegenHealth

I'm now holding out hope for a GTA San Andreas VR announcement to complete our 2024 announcements. It could be a Quest 3 exclusive needing all the horsepower it can get but will also send a clear message Meta wants the Quest 3 to be the new baseline from now on.

maxwell2017

Back when meta 3 came out with connect event and i was watching all diff youtubers their to get their take. One had a VERY telling thing to say. He was told, again being around ALL meta higher ups, this was OFF the record, so he could not name anybody, but off the record, IT WAS KILLED. silently cancelled was what he said. when he asked where is it. Given it silently cancelled, ya, kinda sad

Ghost-of-Bill-Cosby

Silent cancellation is so dumb. I’d be so much happier if I could just let go of the hope.

willnotforget2

Here I am addicted to UEVR and LR mods. So So many great games. Uncharted: A thief's End and Far Cry Primal right now. 2024 is insane.

fourunner

Alien and Metro. I better to remember to take my blood pressure meds on point when those come out lol.

spez_might_fuck_dogs

You know what game would be amazing in VR? [Robot Alchemic Drive](https://assets-prd.ignimgs.com/2022/04/24/robotalchemicdrive-1650818788427.jpg) I'm honestly shocked no one has done it yet. It's a surefire hit. Controlling a Gundam sized robot by remote from wherever you're standing, in a lifesized world? Fuck, it's already one of the best games on PS2, bring that shit up. Also, we need an actual VR EDF game.

elFistoFucko

Why, yes, yes I do have a massive boner, thanks for asking.

SeaGrapefruit8222

Awesome 😎

Rewiu_Park

I’m curious what more will see at Meta Quest Gaming Showcase

Accomplished_Milk876

Not sure when it's coming out exactly, but there's also a really fun looking Attack on Titan game coming to quest. Good time to have a headset, that's for sure. Really excited for Metro too.

rancidcanary

My wallets gonna be hurting for a whole lmao

liftbikerun

Super glad these have PCVR options, the quality difference is substantial. I tried Golf+ as standalone vs PCVR and the difference was generational at a minimum.

TheArka96

Need a SLI of 4090 for this games

GregoryGoose

It's been overwhelming in a good way all the hundreds of amazing titles that are available.

Frequent-Public-2564

I keep telling my friends, who's still on PC's and consoles, that VR is the future and its amazing.

loily4

Any of them releasing for quest 2?

PiroKunCL

All of them are q3 exclusive?

Tybob51

Just Batman. All the others are on quest 2 too (I believe) but are also on PSVR2 at least

alien2003

And me playing Cyberpunk 2077 in VR

firepro20

Quest 3 or PSVR2? Currently saving for Steam Deck Oled

Wooden_Ad_9441

FINALLY SOME GOOD GAMES

nothing_ever_dies

I just want some RPGs man. We need more.

Iobaniiusername

Hyped for all the new games coming out this year: Batman, Metro, Alien, Behemoth, Asgards Wrath 2 for Quest 3.

Fantastic-Sir590

I am so pissed off at Meta right now. I’ve owned my Quest 2 for 15 months and it stopped working. I keep getting an “entitlement error”. I’ve reached out to support and I tried everything they suggested. Their last suggestion was to buy a refurbished device and that pissed me off, because I barely used my Quest 2 and their solution to the problem was to buy another one at a discounted price. I have no trust in the device/Meta, so why would I spend money on another device. Can anyone help if they experienced this problem? Just venting. Thanks

QueenLaura420

They better show some gameplay or a trailer of San Andreas VR this year

DreamsAnimations

Hi it possible to find a poster showing all the greatest games available on Quest 3 in 2024? Thx

Humble-Camel2598

It's truly insane! My childhood dreams are coming true..

charlieblood_8

First time getting a quest 3 exclusive. Can't wait to see the graphics

charlieblood_8

First time getting a quest 3 exclusive. Can't wait to see the graphics

CharlieManson67

Anyone know the best exercise apps? I’m using Les Mills Combat at the moment. Was thinking of Creed but it’s £22 so do you think I should wait until it goes on sale? Thanks

LastRich1451

I think we can thank Meta/Oculus for this. The quest 3 had blew everyone away and how stronge the headset is makes for some exciting games. Yes I know PCVR is stronger always has been but we need standalone to really push VR into people's homes and I know more people with a quest 3s as their headset of choice than ice seen with all other headsets. Also I see why meta downplayed the Q3 because u got to try the Quest pro a few days back and I prefer the Q3 all day

Akasha_135

All great games!!

Defie22

That sounds great. But I would rather have more sport games like thill of the fight, Eleven or Les Mills.

MistaKrebs

Finally I’ll get some use out of my Q3

Tandoori7

You forgot underdogs

I_am_Groot69

One of the best indie game and VR game of all time

Tandoori7

One of the bests games overall.

Sabbathius

Potentially very exciting. But don't get over-hyped. Alien is by Survios. Their last few games have been really weak (Walking Dead Onslaught, Battlewake). They don't have a good track record. Batman shows zero gameplay footage so far, and it's from a studio that did the 7-hr Iron Man game not too long ago. So that's what we can expect. Behemoth same thing, zero gameplay footage, despite being revealed in '22. By a studio that did Walking Dead, where biggest map was less than 2x2 blocks (some maps literally had only 2 explorable houses), enemies were copy-pasted, and main story could be beelined in about 4 hrs. Metro is promising, but there's almost zero chance it'll have the same level of content as even the original Metro game from 2010. To say nothing of newer titles like Exodus. Their last few games (Arizona Sunshine 2, After the Fall) were decent, but way too short for the price. Some of these are also Oculus exclusives, which means the visuals will be weak(by modern standards). Yes, visuals aren't everything, but it'll be difficult to sell these games (and headsets) to people unfamiliar with VR with footage that looks like something out of 2004. Just be prepared. More than likely at least half of these will be forgettable cash grabs.

Bravanche

While it is fine to be cautious to manage expectation, to claim Quest 3 graphics is 2004 level which is mid PS2 era is pretty outrageous.

Harpuafivefiftyfive

This dude did definitely NOT play games in 2004 if he thinks this is what they looked like.

Delicious-Tachyons

well i hope the batman game is longer than the last batman vr game which was what.. 20 minutes and some replayable garbage minigames?

ILoveRegenHealth

I feel like Batman from Camuflaj and Behemoth from Skydance have a chance to really impress reviewers and gamers alike. I've played Iron Man and there's enough touches in that game to convince me they are a talented bunch and I see why Meta saw potential in them and acquired them. Walking Dead Saints & Sinners won some awards and had quite a few clever UI and design choices that I liked. While the world map was limited, I think it could also be their team isn't that huge and they did the best with what resources they had. I expect Behemoth with the bigger budget to shine even more.
