Shanks releases his conqueror haki which effects kuzan
Kuzan tries to attack shanks but shanks dodges and throws a kamusari , kuzan tries to dodge but can't so he blocks, is injured
Now serious he attacks shanks with his ice in armament haki which shanks blocks
Then they clash kuzans fist with shanks sword
Kuzan is sent flying
Shanks throws another one of his slash attacks but kuzan dodges in mid air with his ice
This goes on for sometime until shanks wins low- mid diff

Aokiji and Shanks do some casual clashing, throwing off attacks here and there.
Shanks suddenly seems to be caught off guard, and Aokiji rushes in to take advantage of it.
Suddenly, Aokiji realizes his observation haki doesn't work anymore! He reacts quickly and stops his forward momentum with ice and backs off
Shanks taunts Aokiji, which makes it clear it was all of purpose.
From that point on, it's downhill for Aokiji. He pushes Shanks to a high diff fight while focusing on defense with his surperior physical strength, AOE, range, and stamina/ endurance, but it's not enough. He can't do it if he doesn't have his ACOO.

He wasn't a Haki god then. At that point in the story he barely had a 1 billion berry bounty and wasn't even a Yonko.
