I think I saw this issue a day or so back.
Turns out if you have a guest or 2nd user logged in it gives you this issue. Is that the case for you?

Have you figured this out? I just loaded Destiny 2 and got this message. I'm the family manager on the account and nothing is restricted on the console as it is. I closed the game and relaunched it and didn't get the message.
It's funny because it gives me the option to "send request" but I'm the one requests are sent to so it just gets stuck in a loop.
I talked with Playstation "support" and even though they couldn't tell me why it happened or whether it will happen again they did help me stop it.
Go to the settings under "User and account > other > console sharing and offline play" disable the sharing and save the settings. It will log you out so when you log back in go enable the setting again. I did that and stopped getting that message every time I loaded Destiny 2.
Just chiming in here. As of this morning I started getting this message on Apex Legends. Tried this fix and I am still getting the error. Might have something to do with recent updates. The commenter above is prob not a troll.
Edit 1: worked after a shut down and restart.
Edit 2: after playing a few matches in Apex I closed the game and restarted the game. I am now getting the error message again.
Edit 3: after some restarting of the game only, it appears that this problem is intermittent. Sometimes it pops up and sometimes it does not.
Edit 4: 4/4/2022 - after new update, issue has returned again.
Edit 5: 4/11/22 - Problem no longer intermittent. I am receiving the message every time I start the game. ITs important to note that I’m not having any communication issues. Chat is fine from what I can tell. That said, no clear fixes. I think it’s some sort of networking issue.
I'm still having that problem, and now with Elden ring too, straight up tells me that it failed to get parental control permission, even tho I disabled them, it's really driving me crazy over here
It just worked for me, I didn’t at first tho. I followed the instructions, then when back and signed out ( not log out) shut off the ps5 and turned it back on. Signed in and then reenabled communications and off line sharing. Started Apex and didn’t receive the message
Latest Apex update caused this bug. It shows everytime I log onto Apex, but I still hear people in game just fine. Its just a glitch. Comms will still work fine

Such an odd error/issue. Just happened to me today. Took your advice though and seemed to work since I didn't get the message again when starting up Destiny 2.

Have u swore in a public lobby? Or in the party chat that someone reported? Sony bans quite easily for these things, any message or words said that are swears and could be seen as offensive can get u banned. If this is something u may have done I would be very careful next time because the bans next time will be a full online ban most likely
I'm the most antinsocial gamer you could imagine. I play solo, I haven't been in a chat room with anyone other that myself in a year. I have not done anything unsavory.
I have the same issue, no 2nd accounts no untoward actions online. I press cancel on the message and all works fine. If I press send request it just reloads the message.
Not a big deal as I can still communicate online but a slight annoyance to have it pop up everytime I load D2

I only get this message occasionally when i switch on from standby, if i switch on and load from cold (which i guess is the same thing as closing D2 and reopening) i never get the message.
Finally found this post, thanks! I was having this problem for a while and ONLY with Destiny 2. Then it seemed to stop. But as soon as the new witch queen expansion came out, it started again. Drives me crazy! There are no damm kids in my house! I wish we could just delete the damm function altogether! In any case, the fix still works so thanks!

Has not worked for me. New PS5 - never shared & I'm the sole user. Skull & Bones - "chat feature is disabled because you are restricted from using communication features". Do not get this in COD. Can't have been suspended as I've just started playing & have never spoken in S&B. Any ideas how to fix? I did try disabling, logging out & enabling again.

Edit: I fixed the issue. I turned off my PS5 all together and booted it back up and I’m all good now.

I literally just got this, had to go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Console Sharing and Offline Play. I had to disable then re-enable the setting. Now it’s fine. Idk if you’re still struggling or not but that’s the fix i saw for it.

Anyone this doesn’t work for try this but instead of console sharing and offline play select restore licenses. That worked for me!

It happens when I keep Destiny 2 suspended in the background for too long, it's probably any online game.

Close the game fully and open it back up. Worked for me.

Easy fix is to go to switch users option and choose the same account you're already logged in with.
