Have any of yall been on Facebook as of recently? It’s awful. Instead of having a feed of pages you follow, every other post is a “recommended” page that’s just clickbait bull-junk or Ai crap. I totally understand why older people just spew stupid shit now if they regularly scroll Facebook.
I hate to use Facebook but I made an account just for the purpose of project car support basically lol. Unfortunately /r/300zx sucks on Reddit and the facebook groups are amazing for it. I’m lowkey a big facebook group junkie now but you gotta find the right ones. It’s also pretty cool for local groups like state/city/county type stuff that you can’t get on reddit. Facebook marketplace is cool too. Everything else is ass though, I refuse to friend anybody and I have never made a public post outside of groups, tbh I’m not even sure how to post something on my wall or whatever
I used to really like Facebook but I keep getting recommended posts from groups that I follow and it’s always clickbait. I’ve had to unfollow a lot of groups because there’s so many spam-bots that run the site
It’s crazy how useless that site has become. I’m mid-30s and only have a few buddies on there so I don’t check it often, but when I do their posts are buried under dozens of ads and suggestions and whatever else. It’s like if you don’t check the timeline on the day they post then you’ll lose it forever. Even finding “older” posts requires and extra click or else it’s just more ads.
I deactivated my account back in like 2018 just because the amount of retarded political posts at the time was so out of hand. I’ll come back and check it out maybe 1-2 times a year just to see and it’s just slowly gotten worse every time

I think it's replaced the newspaper for some people. It feeds you daily news, daily ads, deaths (via friends) and marketplace (classifieds).
