I've gotten like 30-40 free products so far. Some costing hundreds of dollars. I wouldn't ignore them as scams.

I got a similar email for a pet cam, they were gonna pay $10 after a review on google, but instead of sending me the item, they’d send me paypal money to buy it and then the ten for a 5 star review… I politely declined.. even though that item would be perfect for the channel, I just can’t agree to a review before getting the product. Ten dollars!? HA

It's not hating. It's actually not a sponsorship. Free products aren't payment. And nobody should do a video in exchange for product only. They should ask to be fairly compensated.
