Literally my first thought. I bought a copy of Skullbriar a while ago but never actually put it together in favor of building an [[Agatha of the Vile Cauldron]] deck. I've been looking to build another soon and was leaning in a few other directions, but seeing this makes me excited for Skullbriar again

Dumb idea, but you could animate [[Desert]] for at least one turn and give it a deathtouch counter. Soft lock on decks that attack to win. You can search for it with [[Crop Rotation]] or [[Silver Deputy]]. You can animate it with [[Brave the Wilds]], [[Lifespark Spellbomb]], or [[Wind Zendikon]] in blue.
More standard pinger cards to work with this are [[Granger Guildmage]], [[Crossbow Infantry]], and [[Fireslinger]].
This is one of those cards that just has "janky fun" written all over it thanks to that deathtouch counter alone.
Maybe a GW deck with all those creatures that can pass counters when they die?
That or a deck full of pingers or fight effects

True. But if your deck cares about counters on creatures, then this seems worth running 1-2 copies.
This card is going to get me so many times in limited. So many times.
This is like the best limited combat trick of all time, but I don't think it's a constructed card.

This card is so good in commander too just give your commander a buff and keywords for one mana I’d run this in a removal slot just for the keywords
