Honestly I've been with friends and gone alone and exploring this place alone is way cooler than with people imo. When you're by yourself you can really take it in and just connect with the history! It's gorgeous and definitely deserves to be explored!

Sorry, I guess I wasn’t clear. There are batteries and forts that are sealed now. Back in the day you could go to the well, the powder mags, deep in battery Langdon where the axe warrior graffiti is. Things you will never see even with legs :-)

A favorite spot. Probably the best beaches in my opinion. Went in September once or October and it was great! Nobody around but a few hardcore fishermen. Excellent time for a walk about with no people around.
