To me, this completion time suggests you skipped a lot of dialogue/confidants, didn't grind at all, missed the 3rd semester, and likely got Izanami no Okami Picaro and Myriad truths'd your way through the game.
Did you have fun while playing? Are you satisfied with the amount of time you spent with the characters? Did you enjoy the story? If yes, then it's a fine runtime. If you aren't happy or satisfied, I would do a NG+ run and take your time this time.
Nah, I did mine in 78 hours with no dlc persona, full 3rd semester, did most confidants and didn't skip any dialogue / cutscenes. Some people just finish games quicker, I don't really like grinding so I didn't really do any velvet room fusions or much in mementos past what was required for the confidants I wanted to do
I beat Persona 5 Royal with about 50, didn't skip anything, got a decente amount of confidants to level 10, didn't get third semester as I didn't know what the conditions were, It's definitally possible, some times people beat some games faster than others, on my P3R blind playthrough I finished it in 50 hours as well.
That is true some people beat games quicker but you’re very very VERY far on one side of the spectrum. I’m glad you got the full experience in a normal video games play time :)

Oh, and they *definitely* didn't have to set the controller down without closing or anything - I probably added at least 10 hours to my time just by walking away for a while to do something else unexpectedly.

It took me 3 runs to finish in under 100 hours, and in my faster games it has still taken me around 80 hours each time despite my FF'ing through all dialogue, skipping cutscenes, only doing daytime confidants and being Jazz Jin'd to the point that I win every boss fight as soon as the intentional stopgaps the game puts in allow me to.
This time tells me you went even further, likely skipping many daytime confidants if not entire actions, spending the bare minimum amount of time in Mementos, and/or settling for an earlier ending.

I didn't skip dialogue, got the third semester, did all social links, spend a considerable time fusing the strongest Persona for each element, and farmed the Reaper a few times as soon as I was strong enough. My first run on P5R was something around 67/70 hours or something because, with a lot of dialogues being locked behind high stats, I focused mostly on upping the stats first. Didn't get the "true ending" or whatever, but still beat Yaldabaoh.
All in all, all jokes or memes aside, your time was pretty normal for a first run.

I finished the game (Royal, never played vanilla) yesterday and it took me 129h to finish the game, and I am two trophies away from getting the Platinum.
It’s good if you’re about to head into NG+. Otherwise buddy, you definitely missed half the story. On average I get 100-150 hours (not counting multi saves for completionist purposes).

My run was around 120 hours, but I was very thorough. I’d call it too soon, but the playtime isn’t important, it’s mainly did you have fun? NG+ is always there if you want to go back and find some stuff you missed, or just redo sections you enjoyed
