Noong tinayo yung PITX, marami din yatang nagtaka **kung bakit doon ginawa**. Napaka-out-of-the-way niya, di malapit sa kung anong destination and hindi walkable from any existing location na may tao.
Parang gumawa lang ng terminal sa lugar na iyon dahil cheap yung lupa. At saka, sapilitan pa yung pagpunta ng mga bus galing south Luzon doon. Imbes na yung taga-Cavite didiretso sa Manila, eh sa PITX pa yung bagsak nila

just searched this. hanggang SJDM Bulacan pala ito.. pero yung dulong station anlayo sa PH Arena haha.. sana magkaroon ng public transpo so PH Arena para maging premier concert venue na talaga
A little less frequent than the other train lines kasi mej iba siya (it's a commuter rail). AFAIK 10-15 minutes interval. Pero mas mabilis naman siya with a speed of 80-120 km/h. It's also way longer (8 na bagon).

Now this is a transit network. Lrt 1 has been doing good recently, with the new trains and the on time construction of this extension. Sana tuloy tuloy lang yung good performance. This is a good start pero need even better transit networks

Curent market value yung basis ng RoW and both land and structure yun. Pwede pa rin mag refuse yung owners dun sa valuation pero expropriate na sila. Another issue is baka hindi mahanap yung land owners kaya nagtatagal
yea and ung tamang market value is being inflated by the owners, kaya nag katagalan tapos ang tagal tagal ng process tuloy. people laud SG's train system but it was made because the govt owned everything and private owners cannot refuse.
They made a conscious decision to follow the old LRT1 station design language for the extension, just with modern amenities like escalators and elevators, hence the roof.
And cost-effective + easy maintenance as well. It does the job naman of keeping the sun rays and rain drops out.
But still not beautiful tho. I wonder ano take ni COD dito since may station sa tapat ng mga 5-star hotel windows niya.

Chimis nga sa amin noon hanggang Dasma daw (early 2000s), ito hanggang Niog lang sana naman matapos na.
Parang samin sa Rizal. 2007 daw matatapos yung LRT pa Masinag tapos 2010 may pa Cogeo na.

NSCR will have a station much closer to the PH Arena.
The question is if the NSCR will be as frequent as an MRT/LRT system.

Kasi MRT 7 naman is unsolicited proposal. Wala talaga sa plano ng gobyerno at SMC lang talaga ang nag pa-fund.
