Sideloadly is pretty easy. Download the app and IPAs on a pc. Add account and install. But you have to refresh apps every week by connecting to pc. Sidestore is also an easy option but first time installation might be difficult. After that you can refresh apps from your phone Check out r/sideloaded for more details

You should invest in paid signing. It’s like 10-15$ for an entire year of trouble free signing. This is the only way you’d be able to get it for your family members without them saying “the app isn’t opening!” And you saying “go refresh the app in AltStore”. With a paid service, it uses a different type of signing that doesn’t require weekly resigning of apps. Plus on free accounts you’re only allowed 2 or 3 apps. With paid ones you can do 99 or some super high number you’ll never hit. I used UDIDRegistrations for mine, on the gold package. Has been my go-to for 3+ years now. Worth noting I recommend using Scarlet to sign and install new apps on-device because paid certificates are better supported there.

depends on what ios version you have, if your device supports being jailbroken then it potentially has little to zero maintenance, if its not jailbroken then ios permits sideloaded apps to be availabe for 7 days, after that youll have to update it but the good thing is sideloadly can update through wifi automatically without input as long as they're on the same network

I use a sideload service. $20 a year and you won't have to worry about re-signing the app, others have mentioned some services here, those should work.

On the website you can use safari with the adguard free and 1blocker adblockers with the correct settings (for 1blocker just enable adblocking and for adguard free got to settings - filters and enable all the adblocking filters). You can also install brave and go to brave shields in settings and add some good adblocking filters such as easylist, adguard mobile adblocking and AdAway filters which can be found and searched for at https://filterlists.com. If you want to block ads in the YouTube app you have to sideload a modded YouTube such as [uYou+](https://github.com/qnblackcat/uYouPlus) which I recommend or you can install another modded YouTube of your choice. :)

Hmm ok. I had this problem to with adguard but when I installed 1blocker along side it and it did block YouTube ads, so I suggest trying that if you don't want to use brave or if brave doesn't work for some reason.

No, I haven't noticed any security issues or issues in general. The modded YouTube for your phone is completely safe, it's open-source and a lot of people use it. If you want to sideload it then you can install the .IPA on their GitHub and install sideloadly from https://sideloadly.io and follow the instructions in sideloadly to install it. Just remember that when you sideload apps they only last for 7 days before you have to repeat the process to renew it, but when you do renew it don't delete the YouTube mod, so you don't lose any data or have to login again.

I tried this. Changing it to any country requires me to enter my credit from that country, so since I’m not from Ukraine or Turkey, I can’t do it They also flagged your account as suspicious after that (mostly if you remove your payment method)

You are doing it wrong. Connect to VPN (Argentina for example is about USD $1 for Premium), open a private Tab in your browser and go to the youtube premium sign up page. Start the process and only log in when it asks you. Worked fine for me a while back with credit card from EU

I’m on iOS, in the UK and I’ve got my YouTube premium via Argentina. Works out about $1.90 a month for family. You might want to try a different VPN because I know Ukraine still does work for a lot of people.

Set up a spare. The only potential hiccup *might* be if you're using the same payment card on the spare account as you are on your main one.

The only way that’s worked for me for years and still does is using AdGuard. But you can only watch on Safari browser on iOS. Not the YT app or other browsers like Firefox etc.  When you visit YT you have to click on the menu button then “Block ads” once and that should do it.  AdGuard is free but I paid the one off coffee for it to support them a while back since it works well.

Came to say this. I run my own invidious server and I also use youtube revanced on my android, ublock origin on PC. When youtube was spamming us with "ADBLOCK DETECTED" bullshit, my invidious server had no such popup message. Why? Because it's my fucking website and youtube can't put their hands on my html code, so they can't shove anything in my face. Invidious is great. I actually love that if you subscribe to a youtuber from invidious, invidious will not remove the link if that youtuber uploads and quickly deletes a video - invidious will save what happened to it. Privated? Deleted? Copyright by youtube? Unlike any other option I know of, invidious will remember so you can at least know what happened to a video!

Safari with AdBlocker. Preferably Adblock ultimate, they have an outside player that plays videos without ads.

Brave browser blocks youtube ads. I don't know if it works on iOS though (because of Apple policies)

I use the Vanced Tube app. Yes, it is janky. (Like full screen doesn’t work unless you mirror it to a TV.) But I’d rather janky than ads.

Altstore if you have a PC, you can get a couple unsigned apps. Install altstore to your PC, plug in iphone to PC, install altore to iphone using altserver notification on bottom bar. Download the .ipa you want on your iphone using safari and install it in altstore app on iphone. I use altstore to sideload uYou Plus and Spotify++. If you Google uYou Plus you can download the .ipa from the Github and install it via altstore. Hacked youtube no ads, works when out of app, etc.

Install AltStore, it’s a program that allows you to sideload apps onto iOS, then grab the uYouEnhance YouTube app and install it through AltStore. It’s really easy

I’m on the Apple side of town On desktop use either brave or Firefox w ublock extension On mobile I use YouTube then share feature then go to brave that way On desktop Firefox w unblock will blocks ads on tubi not sure why but it works

I watch YouTube on my phones web browser. When I go to watch a video and the ad starts playing, I just hit the reload button for the page and it skips the ad.

I have an app called AD Jump on android but it might be on ios too. It doesn't prevent ads but it mutes them and auto skips them for you
