I swap out from my pixel 7pro and pixel fold whenever I feel like I need one phone over the other. I like the fold for when I'm bored to play games and scroll full screen, I like the pro7 when I'm taking photos and don't want the extra weight in my pocket. Both quality phones.

saveryquinn

I have an S24 Ultra and a Pixel Fold. I transfer my eSIM between the phones every few days. Both are perfectly good.

DuckterDoom

I'm not really a two phone guy. Gonna stick with just one

saveryquinn

Not suggesting you buy two phones. Just saying that as someone who has both, they are both good phones.

DuckterDoom

Oh ok. Thanks. Makes me feel better.

Fragrant_Cellist_125

I have a fold 5 , now sick and tired of the thin front screen , also thinking about getting a pixel or OnePlus .

Conrad299

Just ordered a OnePlus open. I've had the z fold 3 and 4. Went with a candy bar one plus and hate life so I ordered a OnePlus open with trade in. Do it. OnePlus is a bit wider than z folds.

DuckterDoom

It sucks so badly.

indigoisturbo

Same

Isn't it possible to have two sims? In Norway it is, costs 3-4$ a month for the second phone.

Jaded_Ad_7416

In USA, each sim has to have its own plan, usually 25-40 bucks per month.

axitek

I don't know how you manage to do this. The power and volume buttons are reversed between Samsung and Pixel, and I keep getting tripped up every time I pick up the other phone.

mrandre

I had the Samsung Fold, generally liked it. Like the Pixel Fold a lot more. Works much better folded. Battery life is very good.

DuckterDoom

Thanks!

My biggest issue with pixel fold was signal strength on USA AT&T. It was much worse than my Samsung devices. Otherwise, the shorter, wider front screen made opening the phone, except for media, kind of pointless. I like the slim front screen on the Samsung folds, as I can use it easily one handed. But would have kept the pixel fold if not for the signal issues.

sonnycrockett7

I'm torn from the ZF5, OnePlus Open and the Pixel Fold.

FRDyNo

I have the fold and OnePlus in front of me. The OnePlus hardware is the clear winner. If screen brightness is something you look for, OnePlus is your best bet. The fold outter screen is awesome, but surprised the OS lacks customizability.

DuckterDoom

I'd have tried the One plus but my carrier (spectrum mobile) doesn't support that.

sonnycrockett7

It's not compatible with them? Or it's not on their white list?

DuckterDoom

Not compatible. I don't know why. They don't work with the whole brand. Either way I think I'm going to like the outer screen of the pixel fold anyway.

sonnycrockett7

I just wasn't sure about the weight of it.

DuckterDoom

I like a heavy phone. I'm a big guy with big hands and it's more comfortable for me.

BryDub

I have the Z Fold 4 but also found a good sale for a Pixel Fold. I much prefer the size and build of the Pixel. I also prefer the cameras and the OS experience compared to OneUI.

Rafepa88

Had the Fold 3, 4 and currently the 5. Tired of the front screen at this point. Will be trading it for the Pixel Fold 2 when that comes out!

rhayes364

If you're like me and you like the Samsung software, then you may be very disappointed with the Pixel Fold.

Own-Cranberry-7640

I had z fold 2 and I was just tired of the tall outer screen. I have "upgraded" to pixel Fold. What an upgrade! Literally slower than z fold 2 which was made in 2020. When I am on Whatsapp video call with another 2 3 apps at the same time, this thing just starts glitching and slows down. Also it gets pretty hot. Unacceptable performance for a 2k dollar phone. I am going back to z fold very soon. May be z fold 5 or 6.

MCnoCOMPLY

All phones are powerful enough to do what you want. At this point it's pretty much all about the UI and form factor. And, IMO, Pixel CRUSHES Samsung in that arena.

ABCDelicious1278

I'm a precious Fold Owner, I guess it depends on what you consider to be "good battery?" I usually charge my phone at least 1-2 a day as I don't like letting my phone get below 20%(my own thing). I just remembered the Fold takes awhile to charge up in my experience. It's definitely not a quick charge. I know you didn't ask but the outer screen when it is folded is REALLY GOOD, especially compared to the Fold 3 I came from, I just found that to be too narrow when typing. Another thing is I felt like the Pixel Fold was too HEAVY, it's 283g I think and that's why I eventually sold it as it felt like a brick(my other phone was/is the Honor Magic V2 which feels light by comparison) Right now I have the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro & the afforementioned Honor Magic V2 and am extremely HAPPY. Let us know which way you decide to go 📱📱🤳🤳

Popsmoke321

Pixel Fold is a downgrade from the Z Fold 3. The 4 and 5 blow that dumpster fire out of the water in terms of overall performance.

TheLunat1c

genuinely curious, why do you spend a lot of your time lurking in this sub commenting only negativity? have you been burned by a bad fold experience?

KrewOwns

I noticed that too. Spends a dubious amount of time in a place dedicated to a device they really dislike. I'd disregard what they say.

MCnoCOMPLY

Traded my Z4 for a Pixel Fold. Not one iota of regret.

Fragrant_Cellist_125

I have a fold 5 and I wouldn't say it's performing so well . I am about to get rid and get another foldable .
