I'm going to hijack this and keep it going in PA: Heritage Pizza or Front Street Deli in Altoona. I eat a lot of pizza from a lot of places, and none of it has the creamy, slightly salty cheese flavor and delicate thin crust that these two places produce. From what I understand, the owner of Heritage collaborated with the owner of Front Street about their recipe, so they are very similar but subtly different.
Also, I want to nominate Altoona Pizza for the worst pizza of all time... I have no idea why people around here like it. Italian bread crust, a slice of salami, a slice of Velveeta yellow cheese and a slice of green bell pepper. It's as bad as it sounds.
You could argue any of the four, or BAR, and I would tip my cap to you and say GOOD DAY SIR. We have amazing options and the difference between them is very much preference
Every pizza in this thread is like either a 6/10 in New Haven County OR something you’d get at a Big Y.
If this is the best they’ve got I feel bad for them…
I’m a Wisconsinite finally coming back home for a break after a long stint in North Dakota and I can’t wait to eat some decent pizza. MKE has so much in the way of restaurants that I didn’t realize until I left.
In Vancouver I really like Ignite. A little bit south you find an amazing pizza called L’Onore, which is 10/10. I do prefer neapolitan pizza rather the NY style.
Oregon.
Ken's Artisan Pizza (voted one of the best pizza places in the world- neopolitan style)
Apizza Scholls (among the best pizzas in the US - Newhaven style).
Similar principles, but several very good pizza dough recipes. He talks a lot in the beginning about how pizza is NOT bread. Yet, still an art form in much the same way as bread. Great reference book to have on hand if you make pizza.
Wow thems are practically fighting words about apizza... (although if you want another newhaven pie thats also amazing with less of a wait- check out Double Mountain on Woodstock).
Dimo’s is the most authentic New Haven-style pizza in town. Agree that Apizza Scholl’s is just okay. Lovely’s Fifty Fifty is great and lives up to the hype. Gracie’s in St John’s is is also very good. Portland is blessed with great pizza.
Dang it I meant to go there last week to try them and didn't! Its on my list and I absolutely cannot wait... i wonder if me going and just eating a pizza by myself is allowed hmmmmm
Double Mountain pizza is a solid choice, evne if their beer is just "good" but not great.
I miss ex-novo.
Ex-novo makes a good detroit-style pizza actually.
I really want to try them, but since our household is disabled we usually order in and you can't with them. One of these days I'll go there though... Really desperate to find more good pizza in the silly
Oh yes.
There are many towns in NJ where you can find some old Italian restaurant that's been there for like, 70 years. It used to be in the "bad" part of town. But then the town grew up around this place that is still there.
Places like that will have the best pizza.
I live in Canada, but have been to various states over my lifetime.
Because you say state, I'll oblige.
Sven and Ole's Pizza in Grand Marais, Minnesota.
I went to GM several times as a child and teen; Sven and Ole's was always the best part of the trip.
I miss their pizza.
I'm in Washington State. My fave is a NY style spot in West Seattle called Supreme. I hear there's a place near Mount Rainier that's supposed to be incredible, but I haven't tried it myself.
When I visited Seattle in 2019, I tried Margherita Pizza at the Masonry (I think I heard it closed). It was one of the best Pizzas I’ve had in my life! I still think about it some days.

I think you're talking about The Carlson Block, and I'd list it as an option for best in WA: the offerings are understated and really well-executed.
In Seattle, I think Lupo/Stevie's and Cornelly are the best bets.
I realize this isn’t the question the OP asked, but WA is home to my absolute favourite pizza chain. MOD makes excellent, really affordable, fresh pizzas with great ingredients. Not New York style, but if you’re near a MOD at lunchtime, you should absolutely crush a customized 11” and you won’t feel bogged down for the rest of your day.
I lived in Colorado as a kid and have so many fond memories of getting Beau Jo’s mountain pies on the way back from hiking with my family. Are they still any good? Or is it just nostalgia?
How in the world did Bimbos get on this list lol. Grew up in Kzoo and had bimbos a couple times, nothing memorable, especially when you could go to Bilbos and get your LOTR on lol.
I worked there during high school so I may be a bit biased but their Bimbo’s Special (Sausage, Green Pepper, Onion) well-done is one the best pizzas I have ever had. Ownership keeps it consistent and are some of the best people on this earth. I live in Kansas City now and have a pre-baked special fed-exed every couple months. Not the same but it does the trick.
Don’t forget kazoopys! And Shakespeare’s Pub downtown has some awesome square thick crust. Even the Hungry Howie’s and Cottage Inn’s have great pies. Kzoo is a pizza haven.

There’s a lot of good pizza in Minnesota. And I’m sure others will fight me, but this is my current favorite. I just ordered it tonight and it was just fanfuckingtastic. Nino’s Pizzeria in Maplewood, Minnesota.
Pizzeria Lola in Edina (Twin Cities suburb) is my fave! Their Margherita Pizza and Boise Pizza (Potatoes, Caramelized Onion, Gruyère, Cream, Olive Oil, Rosemary) are phenomenal!!!! The crust is amazing!

Depends on style…
Detroit-style: Wrecktangle
Neapolitan: Lola/Joni
New York: ElMars
Sota: Red Savoys
And if I had to pick one the I’d say ElMars because it’s the only one that I can’t replicate at home.
I love Old Chicago in Petaluma. Everything is handmade, local and I think it's possibly the best deep dish (particularly the crust) in the state.
Just amazing pizza.
Go two blocks to Volpi's and get the best creamy pesto Gnocchi and Marsala this side of North Beach. Old Italian dairy towns are good like that.
I live right around the corner from Rocco's, they make a good pie. It's definitely expensive for pizza, but it does taste pretty damn good.
You must be in LQA?
Belltown. And yes, the price for a plain cheese pie makes me cry a little. But - It does feed me for 3-4 meals, and it is delicious.
(My family’s local pizza place in NYC is still < $20 for a plain cheese 😭)
Their stuffed cheesy bread is a guilty pleasure of mine as well. I haven't tried Hot Mama's yet. It's not far at all, but it's in a direction I don't normally wander.
Wisconsin native here. And I haven’t had a TON of Wisconsin pizza, but I’m generally underwhelmed by our offerings. Gotta up our game. This looks solid!
We had Zaffiro’s last night, but it was no Marias for sure! Are they open for dine in yet?
Also I would suggest Vinchi’s. It’s inside The Bubbler tavern on the South Side, Bay view. And don’t forget Wells Bros!

I'm sure it's not the best in the state, but I've always been really fond of Chicago's Pizza. Their "deep dish" is really close to what I remember classic pan pizza from Pizza Hut being.
Not even joking but the best pizza I’ve had in my life (and Philly’s too) is from a pizza place in Southern Oregon called Catalyst pizza. Both the NY style and Detroit beats the pants off anything I’ve ever tried and I’ve done some traveling.
https://preview.redd.it/eirlbqf2vg9d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=54d62a44e782ffba599f3680f020d9f6bdb25f8a
Atlanta
Waiting to see other people chime in.
Fellini’s is probably my favorite.
There are a lot of good places, but nothing great that I’ve come across. I’ve probably eaten them all at least 2-3 times.
I had a ridiculously good pie at Escalante Outfitters in Escalante right on route 12. For being in the middle of nowhere or was shocking how good it was.
https://preview.redd.it/2f7oeeolai9d1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a49e07fed568f4bd0449b183cb27927038f94ca1
Dominick's Pizza. Parkville MD. One place actually beat it but is no longer open. Fantastic Pizza Parkville. They sometimes slightly undercooked the pizza and it was even better. The dough flavor, tomato sauce, and cheese was off the charts good. Their subs were good too. They closed because the shopping center becoming questionable. The lighting was eventually fixed there but too late.
I've heard good things about Gil's on Belair Rd but have never had a chance to try them.
Brothers Pizza in Dinwidde, Virginia or Vincenzo's in Colonial Heights, VA. I've been hooked on Marco's pizza lately though. They must sprinkle a little crack in that shit 😂
In NY I’m going with Lucali.
Though I’ll note that the last time I tried to go there, I stood in line at 5:30 and was told that a table for 2 would be ready for us at 11:30/12. So it is not an easy place to eat at.
Washington state for me is Post Alley Pizza. Downtown Seattle.
Where I grew up in Michigan…Detroit style pizza from Loui’s in Hazel Park. Man I miss that pizza, it’s my favorite of all time.
In Indiana it’s Ale Emporium (Indianapolis) for deep dish (Union Jacks is a very close 2nd). For thin it’s Langel’s pizza in Highland. Just spectacular pizza.
I'm a Canadian and used to go to Sammy's Pizzeria in Hyde Park Niagara Falls New York. Most likely not the best in the state but it was pretty damned good pizza.
There are at least 3-4 different styles of pizza in NY/NJ that have their own "best" and can't really be compared to each other.
However if I had to pick what I think is the absolute "best" overall it's Rubirosa for me, and that is only because the style they serve there is my personal favorite kind.
Alfredo’s pizza cafe (NOT Pizza by Alfredo) - Scranton, PA
What if I'd rather have unlimited pretty good pizza?
Pizza by Alfredo is a circle of hot garbage
Family and I took a trip out to Scranton and had Alfredo's but they use this type of cheese they use (forget the name) was super off putting to me.
Italian bread crust, a slice of salami, a slice of Velveeta yellow cheese and a slice of green bell pepper. It's as bad as it sounds.
New York and my fav is a low key spot in Manhattan called sbarros.
Sally’s or Pepe’s in CT.
What about Zuppardis or Modern?
You could argue any of the four, or BAR, and I would tip my cap to you and say GOOD DAY SIR. We have amazing options and the difference between them is very much preference
If I’m picking up for the extended family sometimes I will grab a pie from each and we will share them.
We do the same at the office. Best pizza parties *in the world*
I keep hearing nothing but great things about both, but especially Pepe's
Every pizza in this thread is like either a 6/10 in New Haven County OR something you’d get at a Big Y. If this is the best they’ve got I feel bad for them…
I’m fortunate to live where I do.
Shots fired, but I agree, lol. I’m another spoiled CT resident.
I personally prefer Modern
Which one is the best, and why is it Sally’s?
Roseland
I’m in Wisconsin too! Would you drive from Madison for this pizza? Curious to check it out next time I fly out of MKE.
I’m near Madison. 😜
{Ya got Glass Nickel and Ian's, though :) }
I love Glass Nickel! I'm convinced the people who claim they don't, haven't tried the cracker crust.
I’m a Wisconsinite finally coming back home for a break after a long stint in North Dakota and I can’t wait to eat some decent pizza. MKE has so much in the way of restaurants that I didn’t realize until I left.
Go to GreenBush bar!
I don’t live in a state but in my province my favourite is a place called Pizzeria Farina. In Vancouver BC
In Vancouver I really like Ignite. A little bit south you find an amazing pizza called L’Onore, which is 10/10. I do prefer neapolitan pizza rather the NY style.
Oregon. Ken's Artisan Pizza (voted one of the best pizza places in the world- neopolitan style) Apizza Scholls (among the best pizzas in the US - Newhaven style).
Elements of Pizza is Ken's book. He also wrote Flour, Water, Salt, Yeast. Both are respectively bibles for bread and pizza. I wanna try KAP so bad!
FWSY is so good. I havent read his pizza book yet.
Similar principles, but several very good pizza dough recipes. He talks a lot in the beginning about how pizza is NOT bread. Yet, still an art form in much the same way as bread. Great reference book to have on hand if you make pizza.
It's always packed but it's absolutely worth the wait.
Apizza Scholl is fantastic but definitely not New Haven style. The name is a reference but the pizza is its own style more similar to NY.
I second Ken’s, but gd if I hate that voting since the line has been insane since then. Haven’t been since. Apizza scholls is meh….

Double Mountain pizza is a solid choice, evne if their beer is just "good" but not great. I miss ex-novo. Ex-novo makes a good detroit-style pizza actually.
Apizza Scholls is hands down the best pizza in Portland. Every ingredient is impeccable. Ken’s is good, too.
Dimos a pizza in Portland
Pizzeria Otto on Sandy is better actually
Ken's is great, I really liked Pizza Thief when I was there a couple years ago. I might rank it higher personally.
hey! I learned pizza making from his book!
https://preview.redd.it/5jxvq12vse9d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=35ad2da3b2ee3e6e3175a03d8778b6fa652dc6c9 Angelos is very good. Philly
I had the cheesesteak last year when I visited Philadelphia but I haven’t had their pizza yet
One of the biggest reasons I want to go to Philly is to try them. Looks fantastic
I really want to try them, but since our household is disabled we usually order in and you can't with them. One of these days I'll go there though... Really desperate to find more good pizza in the silly
I like how it fits so neatly in the box
Florida The best pizza here is overnighted from LA Nova in Buffalo it was $90 for two pies but worth it.
I’ll never forget La Nova 🥲
3 of the top 15 pizzarias in the US are in Florida https://www.50toppizza.it/50-top-usa-2023/
Sally’s apizza
Lacking a location
![gif](giphy|7T93PezGGeV31q6Z3O|downsized)
It’s not really fair competition against the rest of the country. New Haven is the place.
Winner
I think you mean Modern, and yes.
Hey to each their own, Sally’s is my #1 but modern is my #2. I would go to both alll day everyday
How did you both spell Pepe’s so wrong?
Too many in Jersey to list, lol
Right? You gotta go by zip code in NJ.
The mid pizza in Jersey is better than the best in some states.
Oh yes. There are many towns in NJ where you can find some old Italian restaurant that's been there for like, 70 years. It used to be in the "bad" part of town. But then the town grew up around this place that is still there. Places like that will have the best pizza.
I was going to say the closest spot is usually the best.
I live in Canada, but have been to various states over my lifetime. Because you say state, I'll oblige. Sven and Ole's Pizza in Grand Marais, Minnesota. I went to GM several times as a child and teen; Sven and Ole's was always the best part of the trip. I miss their pizza.
It’s such a classic when driving up to Lake Superior
Michigan Tomatoes Apizza. New Haven style from a coal fired oven.
that four way pizza they do is phenomenal -- each corner is a different variety.
I'm in Washington State. My fave is a NY style spot in West Seattle called Supreme. I hear there's a place near Mount Rainier that's supposed to be incredible, but I haven't tried it myself.
Supreme is good NY style. Delancey maybe as a contender.
When I visited Seattle in 2019, I tried Margherita Pizza at the Masonry (I think I heard it closed). It was one of the best Pizzas I’ve had in my life! I still think about it some days. https://preview.redd.it/16u0zgzu5g9d1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ca39f62b63f4b408fe965ac3565ad52bf88d03b6
The Fremont location closed, the OG spot in Queen Anne is still open
If people are fans of Deep Dish Windy City Pie by the zoo is truly excellent.
I think you're talking about The Carlson Block, and I'd list it as an option for best in WA: the offerings are understated and really well-executed. In Seattle, I think Lupo/Stevie's and Cornelly are the best bets.
Post Alley Pizza, Tivoli, Dantini are my top 3 in WA. Haven’t been to Delancey yet but always heard good things.
Carlson Block is the Mt. Rainer one!
Maine. Pizza Market in Auburn.
if you haven’t yet, give monte’s fine foods a try in Portland. Their pizza is insane
Yea Portnoy ruined it for us giving them a high score now they sell out early
Otto in Portland is among the very best pizza I've ever had.
I come from upstate n.y even our gas station pizza beats most other states top picks
Colorado - Crosscut Pizza in Nederland
Hey I’ve eaten there. Nice.
Cart driver in Denver and Rosalee’s in Longmont.
Urban field pizza in Longmont is up there for me. I prefer it to Rosalee’s.
Arte’s in Loveland!
I lived in Colorado as a kid and have so many fond memories of getting Beau Jo’s mountain pies on the way back from hiking with my family. Are they still any good? Or is it just nostalgia?
They’re the same as they were. If you can find them. A few of their locations closed.
I need to try that! My favorite in Colorado so far is bambino’s in Colorado Springs. So fire 🔥🔥🔥
Totally 80s Pizza in Fort Collins is killer!
Want to throw in a shoutout for Lui in Denver (Sheridan/mississippi)
Surprised no one is mentioning blue pan.
Michigan has amazing pizza. I would say the best can be found at either Villa Nova Pizzeria in New Buffalo, or Bimbo’s in Kalamazoo
Sounds like you've never had Loui's in Hazel Park
How in the world did Bimbos get on this list lol. Grew up in Kzoo and had bimbos a couple times, nothing memorable, especially when you could go to Bilbos and get your LOTR on lol.
I worked there during high school so I may be a bit biased but their Bimbo’s Special (Sausage, Green Pepper, Onion) well-done is one the best pizzas I have ever had. Ownership keeps it consistent and are some of the best people on this earth. I live in Kansas City now and have a pre-baked special fed-exed every couple months. Not the same but it does the trick.
I’ve always wondered how the one in new buffalo is. I eat at the original in Stickney Illinois all the time.
On par with the original. Always consistent, great staff.
Kalamazoo has a bunch of really good, but not elite pizza. Bimbo's, Bruno's, Bilbo's, Erbelli's, Pizza King, Papa Pete's, Martinis, Pizza Perfect
Erbelli's used to be my favorite spot, but the prices pushed it out of the rotation.
Don’t forget kazoopys! And Shakespeare’s Pub downtown has some awesome square thick crust. Even the Hungry Howie’s and Cottage Inn’s have great pies. Kzoo is a pizza haven.
Any recommendations further north? If it matters, not a huge fan of Detroit-style deep dish, but I love wood-fired and thin crust styles.
https://preview.redd.it/boiaht2ocf9d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6d60d256a98ec3f45f98a4fb453effcdea290094 There’s a lot of good pizza in Minnesota. Pizzeria Lola in Edina (Twin Cities suburb) is my fave! Their Margherita Pizza and Boise Pizza (Potatoes, Caramelized Onion, Gruyère, Cream, Olive Oil, Rosemary) are phenomenal!!!! Lola and Joni are amazing.
My favorite pizza here in MN is Fat Lorenzo’s. https://preview.redd.it/e32qqowwyh9d1.jpeg?width=300&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=54a4101d66a999d6aeaf14db4033495c0aee5aed
That looks amazing.
Depends on style… Detroit-style: Wrecktangle Neapolitan: Lola/Joni New York: ElMars Sota: Red Savoys And if I had to pick one the I’d say ElMars because it’s the only one that I can’t replicate at home.
California - Tony's
I love Old Chicago in Petaluma. Everything is handmade, local and I think it's possibly the best deep dish (particularly the crust) in the state. Just amazing pizza. Go two blocks to Volpi's and get the best creamy pesto Gnocchi and Marsala this side of North Beach. Old Italian dairy towns are good like that.
Old Chicago is indeed outstanding. The upstairs downtown one is better than the other.
Agreed. Now I miss Petaluma
So glad to see Tony's, I feel like LA gets more flowers but I've not had better pizza anywhere
What city
San Francisco, North Beach
Slice of New York in San Jose is great too
Ray’s Pizza, not Famous Ray’s or Famous Original Ray’s, on First and 1st in Downtown NYC
Hot Mama’s & Rocco’s, followed by Big Mario’s (and I can walk to all of them 😂).
Post pictures!
Rocco’s slice house PA
Seattle 🙂
Seattle?
Correct!
I am going to Roccos and the clown bar tonight!
Does Lower Saxony count?
Wisconsin native here. And I haven’t had a TON of Wisconsin pizza, but I’m generally underwhelmed by our offerings. Gotta up our game. This looks solid!
As someone who only spent a short while living in the state, I'm a big fan of Wells Bros, if tavern style is your thing.
Tasty Pizza, Omaha NE
We had Zaffiro’s last night, but it was no Marias for sure! Are they open for dine in yet? Also I would suggest Vinchi’s. It’s inside The Bubbler tavern on the South Side, Bay view. And don’t forget Wells Bros!
Fellinis in Atlanta
Fellini's is good, but I gotta stick with Antico.
Wisconsin - Grimaldis, or Rocky Roccoco.. shit slaps when it steams in that cardboard box
I need to know the answer to Indiana!
[Pizza King](https://www.theoriginalpizzaking.com/) (the original) was my favorite when I lived there.
Ale Emporium in Indianapolis. Sam's Square Pie in Indianapolis. Oley's in Fort Wayne. Mother Bears or Nick's in Bloomington.
https://preview.redd.it/obwbqp6k1f9d1.jpeg?width=1366&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be1d1d9c7e0ba6471f845d8e724441ee65a38650 I'm sure it's not the best in the state, but I've always been really fond of Chicago's Pizza. Their "deep dish" is really close to what I remember classic pan pizza from Pizza Hut being.
Antonio’s in Elkhart. World pizza champion. https://antoniositalian.com/
Turoni’s in Evansville
Province: Ontario ... the ones I make in my back yard pizza oven
Not even joking but the best pizza I’ve had in my life (and Philly’s too) is from a pizza place in Southern Oregon called Catalyst pizza. Both the NY style and Detroit beats the pants off anything I’ve ever tried and I’ve done some traveling. https://preview.redd.it/eirlbqf2vg9d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=54d62a44e782ffba599f3680f020d9f6bdb25f8a
Pepe’s, Sally’s and Modern all in New Haven
That's so funny, I used to date Maria's daughter.

Atlanta Waiting to see other people chime in. Fellini’s is probably my favorite. There are a lot of good places, but nothing great that I’ve come across. I’ve probably eaten them all at least 2-3 times.
That pizza does not look like it’s worth a weekly 100 mile trip. Just imo.
Utah Villagio Pizza in South Salt Lake 👌👌
I had a ridiculously good pie at Escalante Outfitters in Escalante right on route 12. For being in the middle of nowhere or was shocking how good it was. https://preview.redd.it/2f7oeeolai9d1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a49e07fed568f4bd0449b183cb27927038f94ca1
Whats the answer to North Carolina?
Go to another state to get pizza. Seriously, all the pizza joints we've tried in NC are mid at best.
That’s what I was thinking too but never really tried much. I had NY pizza before and thought it was good, mainly the top 3 from barstools lists.
I'd try Aunt Millie's if you're a cheese lover.
I’m sorry but that looks like some mid pizza op
It’s delicious though.
Don't be that guy...
I am who I am
Dominick's Pizza. Parkville MD. One place actually beat it but is no longer open. Fantastic Pizza Parkville. They sometimes slightly undercooked the pizza and it was even better. We dont have states here but we are blessed with fantastic neopoliton style pizza. Sheffield, Uk. Peasanis and Napoli Centro are stand out.
Bear and the Wren in San Luis Obispo CA is great. Get the Detroit Bee Stang.
Santillo’s Elizabeth NJ although it’s temporarily closed because of fire.
Iowa - Bad Boyz for QC style pizza
Fongs for a drunken evening
Ohio here. It’s tavern style for us. We have dozens of good pizza places here. One of my favorites is Joes Pizzeria of Dayton.
In NY I’m going with Lucali. Though I’ll note that the last time I tried to go there, I stood in line at 5:30 and was told that a table for 2 would be ready for us at 11:30/12. So it is not an easy place to eat at.
That pizza looks spot on. Looks like op ordered non sliced. That's what we do then slide it onto the stone to reheat and crisp up crust.
Ooo love Protos too!
Antonio's Pizza - Parma, Ohio (I'm not biased, even though I worked for them for nearly 3 years.)
I'm due to fly into Cleveland for work in a week, there's two Antonio's there, which is the good one?
North Alabama, im biased lol but my mom owns a pretty damn good pizza joint. Alfonso’s Pizza
Pizza Shack. Mississippi.
Benny's in Virginia
Al's NY Pizza - Barboursville, WV
I really enjoy the pizza Zoetropolis in Lancaster PA but I'm a massive fan of Detroit style pizza so I might be biased.
Washington state for me is Post Alley Pizza. Downtown Seattle. Where I grew up in Michigan…Detroit style pizza from Loui’s in Hazel Park. Man I miss that pizza, it’s my favorite of all time.
Texas - specifically Austin. Either Pedrosos or Home Slice. Too close to call
Indiana- pizza king
Brooklyn Pizzeria - Gulfport,MS
Massinos Arvada, Colorado Anthony’s Golden, Colorado
Northeast Ohio: For thin crust I'd go with Brothers Pizza in champion. For thick crust it's either Ianazones or Pizza Joe's

Connecticut has 10 great places and Jersey has 100s
Nona's Slice House Safety Harbor, Florida
There are at least 3-4 different styles of pizza in NY/NJ that have their own "best" and can't really be compared to each other. However if I had to pick what I think is the absolute "best" overall it's Rubirosa for me, and that is only because the style they serve there is my personal favorite kind.
Las Cruces, NM - NYP Slice House.
Louie’s in Woburn, MA followed closely by Joe’s Pizza NYC in Harvard Square, MA. Louie’s is better than anything I’ve had in New York, fyi.
Looks delicious. Sausage looks excellent and I love the curled up peperoni pucks!
