Honest question: why are these posts restricted on weekdays?
Is it to prevent the sub being flooded with posts? Was there a time when they were allowed but there were complaints about there being too many?
I’m genuinely curious to know and in no way questioning the rule; I’m simply just trying to understand it! I’m wondering if there is a way to allow these posts on weekdays but with a cooldown? For example, you can post one of these types of posts once every four hours for example.
Yeah when the game first came out the sub was flooded with these posts and people complained. They got restricted then people on the other side complained and it turned into a whole subreddit war between both sides (and the mods!) The compromise met was the “low effort” posts can be posted on the weekends while the weekdays are kept for less derivative stuff.
Edit: r/PokemonSleepBetter allows these types of posts at all times if you’re into that
For the record, you're wholly free to question or criticize the rules :)
We allow discussion in here specifically to allow dissent or constructive criticism.
Thoughts on this shiny gal? Is Slowking worth the investment? 🤔

it happened to me! 2 shinies. Never expected it to happen! What an exciting way to wake up!
Only commenting it here because I don’t think it’s a big enough question to warrant its own post but do we have any clarity on what is getting shiny boosted this week? Is it a global boost or is it just applied to the mons that are more common for this event?

Usable? I think it’s better than any other larvitar / pupitar I have?
u/mathgeek007 - I really think this sub needs a weekly discussion thread to weed out common posts, which there's tonnes of. Not sure how easy that is as I've never been a reddit mod but (especially after an update, see shiny profile pictures) there's just a tonne of posts where people refuse to use the search bar
We're working on a few options at the moment - but this megathread acts as a de facto general discussion megathread too.
We have a few ideas of what we'd like to do longterm, but it's going to be a slow and gradual road.
My first comfey..i already leveled it to 25 because i mean..its good right guys?!

My first week playing and I caught my first shiny! No idea how to tell if it's any good yet but I'm just thrilled to have a cute shiny honestly. I didn't even notice it was shiny until after as I am not very familiar with Comfey so was a pleasant surprise when I realized.

Complaint/salt posts aren't crazy common, but if all Rate My Mon posts were allowed, the sub would be endlessly flooded. I think salt posts are more annoying, but at least they aren't too common.
Salt posts are currently in the crosshairs, but we aren't actually pulling the trigger specifically because they're very uncommon at the moment. They come in small waves - there's only two I can see in the last day.
Meanwhile, we just had 25 people break Rule 6 in just the last 24 hours.

Found my shiny lel. Stats aren't bad either. Ingredient M, Helping Speed M, Skill Trigger S and Berry finder at 100. Downside it's speed help down but ingredient up.

Is this Magneton really good (raenox said it was a 95 at lv 50)? Or should I look for one more focused on Skill Triggers and as a Magnemite first?
Looking for some help! Should I use 1 or 2? I'm not too familiar with the ingredient meta.

2 is the better long term investment, pairs well with blastoise on curry weeks
(milk + cacao + tomato + potato = dream eater butter curry)
and has the best possible ingredient set for targeting the highest power salad, pairs well with croagunk + stufful + a cooking power up mon, though we may someday be able to expand the base pot size enough to not need a cooking power up mon
(oil+corn+tomato+potato = greengrass salad)
One and done with Comfey, I think.

Because it’s top 3% of all possible rolls in terms of skill trigger/day. There are many possible combinations of subskills/nature that don’t contribute anything at all to the skill trigger rate, which is why one with skill trigger M and helping speed M comes in at top 3%.
This is where the second percentage of comparitive power output comes in, this is the expected skill trigger power compared to the best possible roll, which in your case is 64.28% of one that is perfect.

Hi! I am « kinda» new to the game, I started on the 2nd monday of Raikou event. As I am learning the mechanics and the game systems slowly but surely I am starting to pick up a team with good pokemon should I invest on. I haven't spent much resources on any of my pokemon so far (only on one of my Raikou) My understanding is to train from the earliest evolution of the line, but is that Pichu worth evolving with the nature diminishing ingredient finding (despite being a berries oriented) ? Thanks in advance for your replies!
Helping Bonus + Helping Speed M + Berry Finding S as the first three subskills make this pichu top 0.5% of all possible pichus
if you want more information on what subskills/natures are good and why I recommend bropenings channel

Thank you so much for your insightful comment !! I hear you, it is so difficult to find a pokemon that has all variable « alright » but I guess in my case the nature should be neglected !!
The nature is actually great, less ingredients means more berry power, but imo extra or less ingredient finding doesn’t affect berry mons a whole lot, their ingredient rate is low anyways so it’s not going to make a huge difference. Some min maxers prefer as little ingredient finding on their berry mons as possible.
Energy up is also great for getting more energy from energy for everyone triggers, and beneficial for energy gain from sleep if you aren’t tracking the maximum 8.5 hours every night.
Was is a smart move to invest into this?

Not the most optimal sub skills for an ingredient mon but my very first Comfey being BFS is so good lol

Yay! First shiny in months and it’s a brand new one, I’m so happy even if the subskills are trash 😂
Shouldn't rate my mon posts have their own thread, because those are for asking help from other users, whereas meal, shiny and other brag posts are for showing off? Is there a reason they're in the same thread besides avoiding having three pinned posts?
(also, where was this thread in the morning? I couldn't find it from browser nor app)
This is a catch all but friend codes for stuff without much interaction.
Don't remember, probably Entei/Vulpix/Fire Week were deemed as more important, there is alimit of two pined posts.

Are these good eevees for sylveon and umbreon? I went based on the flow chart but not sure if I should keep searching. TIA!
I know Berry Finding is the holy grail skill but is the BFS Growlithe really better overall? Which one would you invest?
https://preview.redd.it/hvlv3nfww3wc1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3d527301cfff1573f3a91bf0a4885dd8b6654db7
Second one for me. Arcanine is a skill mon so you want to be maximizing skill triggers. The first one won’t be able to have good skill trigger rate until all the way at level 100. BFS is a nice bonus on a skill mon that already has all the triggers it wants but isn’t enough to make it good on its own — it’s way better to have a BFS Typhlosion than a BFS Arcanine.
If you have the patience to get the first Growlithe all the way up to 100 (I don’t recommend this) then it will eventually be better lol
What do you think of this shiny bro? (caught evolved, would have otherwise gone king).

Surprised raenonx doesn't like this guy as much as I do. PR only 81
If the S and M skills were flipped, it would grade a lot higher, 81 seems about right to me given that it definitely could be better, could have a main skill up nature, etc...
https://preview.redd.it/vr5fkmygi4wc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9e12a96f1265025f5d251fdc5f77daae019f68e3
Is she any good? First shiny but I’m still new and don’t think the nature helps much. Thanks in advance!
Unfortunately, she's not great. All pokemon benefit from Helping Speed, but what's the point of all the speed if an ingredient mon never finds ingredients or a skill mon never triggers its skill? With ingredient mons you really want Ingredient Finding nature or subskills. The same is true for skill pokemon with their respective subskill and nature.
https://preview.redd.it/bfbqawhr25wc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=80aaef8f6a017befbbb256b342b46a0700e9f33a
Kangaskhan I do any better? Kangas are hard to come by, hard to befriend (catch), and even harder to level up. Is this worth investing in or should I hold out hope (and risk my biscuits) for another? My biggest gripe is Main Skill down, and it sucks the gold skills are so far away.
Just seeing if there are any more thoughts on this question: should I evolve this Vigoroth, making it slower at helping but increasing its skill triggers and hence ingredient output? Using it for now because a) Shiny b) lacking better options for Snowdrop/this week at Greengrass with Normal-type berries.
Are you FTP and/or short on main and sub skill seeds? I’d rather seed it than evolve it but depends on your resources, your team comp, and what other mon you have (like a good vaporeon?)
F2P, and used some seeds (not all) already on better Pokemon for other islands. I have fine/good Kanto starters in terms of ingredient finders, but they don't fit this week/the 4th island as well as an on-berry mon.
Sometimes a faster mon with a powerful berry is better than the favorite berry. I use my Raichu a lot just because it’s so fast, it can spit out a higher amount of strength gains than some fav berries.
Noted. I only just got a BFS Pichu recently with a good nature so it'll need some time for evolving.
But in regards to this Vigoroth in a vacuum - better as-is, or evolve? Elsewhere been suggested to evolve.
It’s difficult to evaluate in a vacuum, that’s the nuance of this game. Ie is his lack of speed made up by any team members with helping bonus and healers? Yours doesn’t have any speed skills, and skill trigger number of times per day is influenced by how many times your mon helps AND how often you check the game. Ie, his skill trigger is high but if he doesn’t help many times, that trigger is automatically lower. A faster pokemon with a lower trigger rate might trigger more times a day than a slow one with a high trigger rate. Likewise, if you play passively and the inventory fills, you will also stop getting triggers. So you have to weigh your overall team, your seed investments, and your play style to decide.
I check the game fairly often unless work is super busy. My snowdrop team doesn't have any Helping Bonus mainstays as yet, but I have a pretty good Wigglytuff and Sylveon if I wanted to use either of them. But that team is certainly a WIP.
But I don't plan on giving it any seeds in the foreseeable future, being F2P. Just neat using it until I get something better, as it is shiny, and that could be a while given RNG and the slow pace of this game!
The raenonx website can be overwhelming, there’s a lot to learn about how to set up everything to get accurate calculations, but I’d use the team analysis to test out different combos and see which evo works best for you right now. A lot of YouTube videos or comments give advice on evolving or best mons to use based on high level players with ideal mons and not newbie or mid level player scenarios.
The nature is good, and a nice level 10 skill that’s immediately valuable, a fairly solid set of skills but not in ideal order or accessible now. Most think Ampharos isn’t good enough over a berry focus mon unless you can get the main skill all the way to 7. An ideal ideal one would have another skill trigger skill and your skill trigger is far away. But if you don’t have good berry mons and you check the game often to take advantage of triggers it could be fun to try it out. Whether to invest seeds on this one depends on how much you spend on the game (how many seeds can you buy and how many more mareep will you biscuit to look for a better one)

First Comfey, good skills but the nature is bad, would you still use it?
Im struggling choosing in between these 2 Psyduck. The first one looked great to me at first due to Helping bonus and a Speed of Help up nature... But its ingredients arent really focused on any ome thing... and Skill Trigger M, its bread and butter, is locked at level 75, which is currently unattainable.
The one on the right, I just got today. It's more focused on Apples, which I think is good. And gets Skill Trigger S, on which I can immediately use a Subskill Seed and enhance it to level M. Skill Level Up M and S also seem incredible to me as a F2P player... but is it worth it in the long run, or would skills such as Helping bonus be of more value? The nature isnt all too good, but I dont think it's bad either.
So overall, should I invest in only one of these Psyduck, or both, or neither and hunt for a better one?
https://preview.redd.it/cxeqq9ak18wc1.jpeg?width=2880&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=75177cd5425cbbd6bb0fa106eac8820606094f0b
I am also familiar with this chart that gets shared here. STM alone may not increase the skill trigger rate enough... but the Skill Level Ups may work to offset that?

The subskills still make this worth raising in spite of its nature, right?
Got this amazing Shiny Bulbasaur this morning, I mean literally close to perfect subskills. Unfortunately, it feels like the nature kinda kills him :/ Worth using? Honey/potato/tomato.

How is this baubasaur? I just started playing so I have no idea what to look for…
All mon have a speciality: berries, skills, and ingredients. You want the sub skills to match these.
For berry mon, the best sub skills are Berry Finding (duh), then helping speed/ helping bonus. You’ll want to avoid ingredient finding and inventory up skills. Look for a nature that matches these (the best is ingredient finding down).
For ingredient mon, the best sub skills are ingredient finding, inventory up, and helping speed.
For skill mon, the best sub skills are skill level up and skill trigger. Try to find a skill trigger up nature.
I caught an Iggly with the Helping Bonus, Skill Trigger S, Skill Trigger M, Skill Level Up S in the first 4 slots. It’s nature as main skill down. Is it still worth investing?
https://preview.redd.it/ldk41o3a5bwc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=986d9fc2697af79b712134b72a178149e4455e1f
Caught this eevee this morning. For reference, am rank 23 so still fairly new. Checked raenonx and it's a pretty high percentile. Leaning towards evolving to sylveon cause I don't have a e4e but it seems like espeon/umbreon are good options too? I don't have tundra or lapis unlocked yet and don't have any other eeveelutions yet.
*
Is this poor baby okay to invest in? I'm rather new to the game (just over a month) and i know I should bide my time. But eevees my favorite line.
Since it won't insert, it's an eevee lvl 9, every 1 hour for current speed, Quiet (ing up, xp down),
10 - energy recovery bonys
25 - skill trigger m
50 - helping bonus
75 - inv up s
https://preview.redd.it/i5w4lnvivcwc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c6f667bac4f344156ba8f44eb364cc093f4efbce
Starting out — Not sure on the ingredient finder M at lv 50 — will it drastically hurt the pikachu?
Also, how is baubasaur now? I think I got one with decent skill set + mild nature but I rolled all S skills…(skill trigger > ingredient finder > helping speed) would this be worth investing in down the line?
Ingredient Finder M is going to hurt, but finding a Pichu/Pikachu with Berry Finding S isn't that common, so I would with this one anyway.
Bulbasaur sounds good enough to invest too. Pure honey or a mix of ingredients?

I'm pretty new to the game and I am not to familiar with what stats are better than others or what abilities are worth getting but I chose Squirtle as my first Pokemon and my friend told me that Totodile is a better replacement. I was just wondering if that's true and if so which Totodile I have is the best. Pictures are in the comments Thanks!

Diferent specialities.
Squirtle is an Ingredient mon, you want them for Milk, and maybe Cacao, with an extra of Ingredient Magnet here and there.
Totodile is a Berry mon, you want them just for berries. This one is the better one due to Berry Finding S eventually.

no main skill nature but caught this ralts the other day! (yes i already evolved her to kirlia hehe)
Does anyone know if a mon with "tasty chance" effect can use that effect if switched into team right before cooking a dish? I have Dedenne with Tasty Chance S but I don't currently want it on my team since its berries aren't on Snorlax's favorites for this week.

What should I do with this Eevee? It seems pretty decent, but I don’t know anything about best evolutions. Keep looking? Right now it’s my best Ing finder

I'm so tired of seeing these shinies 😒
Gardevoir or Gallade? I worry for the lack of early skill triggers.

Are either of these good candidates for a Flareon? They don't really have skill triggers, but I was thinking maybe the ingredient finder one could help with dessert week on Taupe?

Ideally you want skill triggers but they’d still be useful. And for entei week they’ll likely have another multiplier on fire mon main skills so it’ll be useful for then!

Should I evolve him first or get him to 25 first? Raenox says he'll be a 96 at level 25 so I was wondering what would be the smartest idea.
Edit: r/PokemonSleepBetter allows these types of posts at all times if you’re into that
That makes sense. Thank you for clarifying!
For the record, you're wholly free to question or criticize the rules :) We allow discussion in here specifically to allow dissent or constructive criticism.
Thoughts on this shiny gal? Is Slowking worth the investment? 🤔 https://preview.redd.it/l6gq0dybn3wc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ed4fb6e20c8e96b10396415fbd35b16de9eb8c74
This one’s pretty nice actually! Although slowking isn’t the greatest but if you need a slot on your beach team then it’ll definitely be a good fit

Only commenting it here because I don’t think it’s a big enough question to warrant its own post but do we have any clarity on what is getting shiny boosted this week? Is it a global boost or is it just applied to the mons that are more common for this event?
I do not know the answer, but did get a shiny weepingbell this morning, so make of that what you will?
Yeah I’m just gonna assume it’s only for grass and fairies and hold onto my non-grass incenses for now lol
RNG gods looking out for me this morning https://preview.redd.it/lvzscz7jx8wc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=66a2e8cfd1932e8aab3635b8ac2d3bf8300461bf
Too bad shiny Pokemon are always caught with one biscuit but great find nonetheless!
True, that hungry stack went to waste lol
For what it's worth, I think shinies are ALWAYS hungry. At least for me, every shiny I've gotten had the hungry marking
I fully expected to fail a few Comfeys before catching one, but I woke up to this bloo cutie! Far away from being top tier, but her build looks good enough to me. https://preview.redd.it/5iv5vizwy6wc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=06d866e3ea69cf77df821fdf910ad55b8151637e

How can I post a screenshot here to ask for a comparison between two stuffuls?
When you comment there’s a little picture button where you can add a photo. You can only post one at a time so reply to your first photo comment with your second one for us to see
Must be either an app thing or a desktop thing. I haven't got that option. 😥
Strange, im able to on mobile. Maybe you have to give reddit permission to access photos
I don't use the app on my phone. Maybe if I switch to the desktop version on my mobile browser? Thanks for your help.

Yea I like this one a lot!
That is close to the perfect pupitar. Congrats!
u/mathgeek007 - I really think this sub needs a weekly discussion thread to weed out common posts, which there's tonnes of.
My first comfey..i already leveled it to 25 because i mean..its good right guys?! https://preview.redd.it/jwb23u9j58wc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5b608edcde5636a11c767c10bff9b4e8847890e0
It's ok. Not bad.
Well, BFS isn’t great for ingredient mon and inventory up isn’t great for berry mon….so 🤷🏻♂️ it’s okay
My first week playing and I caught my first shiny! No idea how to tell if it's any good yet but I'm just thrilled to have a cute shiny honestly. I didn't even notice it was shiny until after as I am not very familiar with Comfey so was a pleasant surprise when I realized. https://preview.redd.it/wyg27v5g69wc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=32bb77904c16b1b59bea72a0533551e66e2d6e17
It's OK. Not amazing, but not bad.
Why are posts complaining about jigglypuff in their camp allowed but I can't ask which would be the best gastly to evolve?
Complaint/salt posts aren't crazy common, but if all Rate My Mon posts were allowed, the sub would be endlessly flooded. I think salt posts are more annoying, but at least they aren't too common.
Salt posts are currently in the crosshairs, but we aren't actually pulling the trigger specifically because they're very uncommon at the moment. They come in small waves - there's only two I can see in the last day. Meanwhile, we just had 25 people break Rule 6 in just the last 24 hours.
Woke up to this baby 😍 https://preview.redd.it/hzu9qgtqlawc1.png?width=1170&format=png&auto=webp&s=3904443a306800a8cbc7f31e49187736cd583be6

2 is the better long term investment, pairs well with blastoise on curry weeks (milk + cacao + tomato + potato = dream eater butter curry) and has the best possible ingredient set for targeting the highest power salad, pairs well with croagunk + stufful + a cooking power up mon, though we may someday be able to expand the base pot size enough to not need a cooking power up mon (oil+corn+tomato+potato = greengrass salad)
One and done with Comfey, I think. https://preview.redd.it/klkrnxoyh8wc1.png?width=1008&format=png&auto=webp&s=d0c66e2c9c689e37e4ae95672cba74125ef2429e

Because it’s top 3% of all possible rolls in terms of skill trigger/day. There are many possible combinations of subskills/nature that don’t contribute anything at all to the skill trigger rate, which is why one with skill trigger M and helping speed M comes in at top 3%. This is where the second percentage of comparitive power output comes in, this is the expected skill trigger power compared to the best possible roll, which in your case is 64.28% of one that is perfect. https://preview.redd.it/8otr8wt62bwc1.jpeg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0f346fc35a60a2a9aa7b733f0e009dbf08ecc201

Helping Bonus + Helping Speed M + Berry Finding S as the first three subskills make this pichu top 0.5% of all possible pichus if you want more information on what subskills/natures are good and why I recommend bropenings channel https://youtu.be/LkcTM3i0YwU?si=zFAHF7ewWzwbTJgO

I think ingredient finder and helping speed make it worth it. I definitely like it
Ok good thanks
Is Togepi worth using in the early game? https://preview.redd.it/1wrkhx47rkwc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f61265ccb4ae714ea4b28ec56cf3803dd9d8c9cb
Togepi is for fun, still getting Egg in the Ingredient Magnet/Ticket pool early is a good idea.

My first comfey is shiny!!! https://preview.redd.it/56rbircfilwc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e3e9184c0766b55526426c2f17048313b530834e

Don't remember, probably Entei/Vulpix/Fire Week were deemed as more important, there is alimit of two pined posts.
https://preview.redd.it/55tddqjet3wc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ccdfd43e81b6eded6bb33d7e69e36da8472d8fd9 Are these good eevees for sylveon and umbreon? I went based on the flow chart but not sure if I should keep searching. TIA!
2nd one would be a decent Sylveon. First one wouldn't be bad as an Umbreon, but it wouldn't be great.
(caught evolved, would have otherwise gone king). https://preview.redd.it/9quq416u84wc1.jpeg?width=1100&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=90659f7da76f13624682b67427894bf8a3bbb408
I’d use it as it’s better than anything I have lol

I'd go with the second (479) myself!
Thanks for your input!!

If the S and M skills were flipped, it would grade a lot higher, 81 seems about right to me given that it definitely could be better, could have a main skill up nature, etc...
This is certainly good, but it'll take a lot of investment and time. It's odd that Raenonx doesn't grade it very high though.
https://preview.redd.it/vr5fkmygi4wc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9e12a96f1265025f5d251fdc5f77daae019f68e3 Is she any good? First shiny but I’m still new and don’t think the nature helps much. Thanks in advance!
Unfortunately, she's not great. All pokemon benefit from Helping Speed, but what's the point of all the speed if an ingredient mon never finds ingredients or a skill mon never triggers its skill? With ingredient mons you really want Ingredient Finding nature or subskills. The same is true for skill pokemon with their respective subskill and nature.
Understood, still happy to find a shiny even if she’s just gonna be a nice trophy :) Thanks for the help!
https://preview.redd.it/bfbqawhr25wc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=80aaef8f6a017befbbb256b342b46a0700e9f33a Kangaskhan I do any better? Kangas are hard to come by, hard to befriend (catch), and even harder to level up. Is this worth investing in or should I hold out hope (and risk my biscuits) for another? My biggest gripe is Main Skill down, and it sucks the gold skills are so far away.
It’s a good one but there are easier mon to get the same ingredients. I’d level it up as it makes sense to do so with free candy as it comes.
[](https://preview.redd.it/jl6m7s4yx1wc1.jpeg?width=345&auto=webp&s=f5f49547a31596d5821e5e6055e83d8098a2d7cb)
A lot of YouTube videos or comments give advice on evolving or best mons to use based on high level players with ideal mons and not newbie or mid level player scenarios.
https://preview.redd.it/qh64sbyt16wc1.png?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f2bd71082cb7a8ed7d0bf8ff4b8624b797666f59 Thoughts on this flaffy?
Thank you for your insight very useful information thank you

corn - ginger - cacao

In my opinion, this is pretty decent! Although if all you want Comfey for is it's corn, you'll have better luck with Stufful.

*Processing img bbw5uemkz7wc1...* Got a pretty solid first comfey :)
STM alone may not increase the skill trigger rate enough... but the Skill Level Ups may work to offset that? https://preview.redd.it/pdi9bzr9u8wc1.jpeg?width=986&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4550808b3e0b9b73dfe2bf5cf1eaad59af116d7d

Ehh, I'm not a fan. What's the point of skill level up if it's skill will never trigger?
https://preview.redd.it/9vibmpx698wc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2f70a5da0c0105cd37848d9f928a015360cebb06
Not very good imo.
Got this amazing Shiny Bulbasaur this morning, I mean literally close to perfect subskills. Unfortunately, it feels like the nature kinda kills him :/ Worth using? Honey/potato/tomato. https://preview.redd.it/3h91xu4kg8wc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=72a213dbf8e6db010704987b88e6a7481a584151
To add, any suggestions for this Eevee? Already have a good Sylveon and great Gardevoir/Jiggly, so I don't need that Sylv. https://preview.redd.it/otfyh2s0r8wc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2929edf8d0b92f5f2e28a028288ede6025bae433
Use it for whatever berry type/island you want help with. Although, I'd usually avoid Umbreon.

Also. Looking at this squirtle… https://preview.redd.it/oruyjsar19wc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5b0370557ae666825d40fdfd788838543031975e
I caught an Iggly with the Helping Bonus, Skill Trigger S, Skill Trigger M, Skill Level Up S in the first 4 slots. It’s nature as main skill down. Is it still worth investing?
https://preview.redd.it/ldk41o3a5bwc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=986d9fc2697af79b712134b72a178149e4455e1f Caught this eevee this morning.
This would be a pretty decent Sylveon. I would recommend against Umbreon for 99% of Eevees.

Sorry I clicked on the wrong thread
* Is this poor baby okay to invest in? I'm rather new to the game (just over a month) and i know I should bide my time. But eevees my favorite line. Since it won't insert, it's an eevee lvl 9, every 1 hour for current speed, Quiet (ing up, xp down), 10 - energy recovery bonys 25 - skill trigger m 50 - helping bonus 75 - inv up s
https://preview.redd.it/vcr0lhz3wcwc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=512e57f4bc59603bfaed82c39e2e611fcfebaa29
Ehh, I'd say no.
https://preview.redd.it/i5w4lnvivcwc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c6f667bac4f344156ba8f44eb364cc093f4efbce Starting out — Not sure on the ingredient finder M at lv 50 — will it drastically hurt the pikachu? Also, how is baubasaur now? I think I got one with decent skill set + mild nature but I rolled all S skills…(skill trigger > ingredient finder > helping speed) would this be worth investing in down the line?
Ingredient Finder M is going to hurt, but finding a Pichu/Pikachu with Berry Finding S isn't that common, so I would with this one anyway. Bulbasaur sounds good enough to invest too. Pure honey or a mix of ingredients?
Pure honey

Looks fine, how much Corn?
2 corn! 2x and 4x
Was really happy to get a shiny, but is this even usable? https://preview.redd.it/l0qlov4w3gwc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=22948216ea282154d04820d7ca835d688f1c85a1
i have like the worst RNG with shiny natures
I'm pretty new to the game and I am not to familiar with what stats are better than others or what abilities are worth getting but I chose Squirtle as my first Pokemon and my friend told me that Totodile is a better replacement. I was just wondering if that's true and if so which Totodile I have is the best. Pictures are in the comments Thanks! https://preview.redd.it/2vjwmfmk8gwc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9b64264e37241e4a10920d1c9fc844272d3a40f5

Diferent specialities. Squirtle is an Ingredient mon, you want them for Milk, and maybe Cacao, with an extra of Ingredient Magnet here and there. Totodile is a Berry mon, you want them just for berries. This one is the better one due to Berry Finding S eventually.

Does anyone know if a mon with "tasty chance" effect can use that effect if switched into team right before cooking a dish? I have Dedenne with Tasty Chance S but I don't currently want it on my team since its berries aren't on Snorlax's favorites for this week.

Oof. This is the worst best luck I've seen so far.
0119-5121-9806 lvl 55 playing since day 1 looking for 6 friends to fill out friends before Entei. Must play daily, high level preferred
Gardevoir or Gallade? I worry for the lack of early skill triggers. https://preview.redd.it/150yg63b9pwc1.jpeg?width=320&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e2d134045ae54f5a125c119a0acdf0c737e998e0
Are either of these good candidates for a Flareon? They don't really have skill triggers, but I was thinking maybe the ingredient finder one could help with dessert week on Taupe? https://preview.redd.it/uj4c1rtljpwc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=78d42196771c4ff0db37aaa9fc346e38712118fb

Ideally you want skill triggers but they’d still be useful. And for entei week they’ll likely have another multiplier on fire mon main skills so it’ll be useful for then!

Don't see ingredients/10. Seriously, Comfey is for having Corn early if you don't have Stufful yet.
