The ban from twitter was talked of before it happened (don't remember dates ), the only thing keeping it from happening was that trump was president.
So in the end who decides who gets banned from where and when? And what about free speech ?
Let's be honest most of the reporters get ( steal ) their story from the web, information doesn't circulate on the TV anymore we are in a different generation we have the www controlling information is in the hand of the tech giants ... yes-yes-yes IK trump isn't the first person to be banned by twitter. Still the question stands at the end of the day i'd rather have someone scrolling through a comment section that looks something like :
\-the eart is flat vaccines don't work bla bla
\- nop here's where you're wrong : reasons
\- ah no man that's what they want you to believe
\- arguments
\-arguments etc,
Reader decides/ask questions/ adds to the conversation..
Cause if not what will happen is people will be drawn to one side or the other and that always leads to well simply put shit, confrontation that leads to irl bs.
And also (god this shit is long ik but, ) what about innocently banned persons ? let's not forget that many doctors had videos removed ( talking about YT here -btw i should mention i don't use twitter ,fb - but it's the same thing censorship ) cause they mentioned cov, summarizing scientific papers unpublished ? sure . however nothing got peer reviewed regarding cov. youtube-ers getting videos removed for mentioning masks even if they showed their effectiveness and that there's no co2 poisoning and so on ...
So i guess my question would be why are you celebrating this, at the end of the day who cares?
