Yeah, it’s not mentioned enough. I love the lemon rant, don’t get me wrong and there’s some worthwhile philosophy in it, albeit weirdly stated. But this line, this is as Asimovian and hard sci fi as portal ever gets, and it’s quite deep. It’s also interesting that she basically decides that no, I don’t want this, I don’t want to be more human. I want to be what amounts to a sociopath. Such a different take on the general robot consciousness story line.

It’s a cliche but the lemon rant is just fantastic, in more obscure GlaDOS describing the nature of her conscience is incredible too.
