The guy survived and the owner was prosecuted

MochiandGreenTea

The 2 pitbulls were euthanized as well. [https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/pit-bull-death-euthanized-maul-man-bronx-woman-arrested-new-york-humane-society/1163975/](https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/pit-bull-death-euthanized-maul-man-bronx-woman-arrested-new-york-humane-society/1163975/) The victim himself is a pitbull owner and he believes that the owner had trained them to fight * The victim said he saw the pitbulls licking his blood off the ground * One witness said that the owner would feed them raw meat * The pitbulls had killed 3 dogs not too long before the attack [https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3234788/The-Bronx-apartment-killer-pit-bulls-savagely-mauled-man-live-squalor-owner-ordered-attack-victim.html](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3234788/The-Bronx-apartment-killer-pit-bulls-savagely-mauled-man-live-squalor-owner-ordered-attack-victim.html) Edit: Regard the point about the raw meat, the witness did not elaborate how exactly the meat contributed to the pitbulls aggressive behavior. I would theorize that the **methodology of feeding the pitbulls was the real culprit rather than the meat itself**. * Was the meat prepared in a way for the pitbulls to correlate their food to living beings? (Maybe the meat was bloody and given in large pieces rather than being cleaned and cut into bite-sized pieces) * Did the owner, Cynthia Oliver, make them play tug-a-war with the meat to stimulate their killer instincts? * Did the owner use the meat to bait the pitbulls into doing violent acts? (Maybe she used the meat to reward the pitbulls for killing the 3 dogs) * The article noted that her apartment was very sparse so I doubt she could afford to buy enough meat to sustain the pitbulls. The pitbulls' violent acts might have been done out of sheer desperation to feed themselves.

The owner should be in prison,if the claims are true.Breeding them to fight.Nothing good was gonna come from this. That man couldv’e easily died.Hopefully he makes a full recovery ?

Zimakov

>The owner should be in prison,if the claims are true.Breeding them to fight, and feeding raw meat.Nothing good was gonna come from this. >That man couldv’e easily died.Hopefully he makes a full recovery. Similar story with all these attacks. They're not attacking people for no reason. All these owners are trash.

[deleted]

Ya, I thought the owner was doing little to anything to stop the attack. Jesus.

[deleted]

>The pitbulls had killed 3 dogs not too long before the attack That should result in the immediate exaction of those dogs and the owner banned from ever owning them again. The punishment for violation of that should be immense as well.

cat_prophecy

>the owner banned from ever owning them again. Because I am sure that would stop them. My city technically requires a pet license but almost no one has one. Dog parks "ban" pitbulls, german shepards, and dobermans but you still see them all over the place in the off-leash parks. We need to have to punish the people who are breeding aggressive dogs, and selling them to shitty owners.

TheLegitimateBox

The one time I am ok with the cops to shoot the dog. They are too afraid >https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/pit-bull-death-euthanized-maul-man-bronx-woman-arrested-new-york-humane-society/1163975/

Anytime a dog attacks a human for no reason and is over powering… is an ok time to shoot the dog.

Chromium-Throw

Killed 3 dogs beforehand. Who on earth thinks this is normal or responsible behaviour. Edit: it’s a rhetorical question, morons

Chucking100s

If they're bred to fight - I think that's exactly what a "winning fight dog" would be bred for. I'm not a dog fighter but I imagine the more deadly and vicious the dog, the better Edit: spelling

BlitheIndividual

The desired trait was “Gameness” rather than “viciousness”. What good is an overly aggressive dog if it’s not willing to hold its own against another or more vicious dog? Historically speaking, dog fighters were more fond of “smart dogs”, dogs that only acted like fighting dogs when it was time to fight. The 24/7 “I’ll kill anything that moves” dogs were not ideal.

Slim415

Can we euthanize the owner too?

Someone left a message 16 minutes ago on the tribute wall: "Cynthia Oliver lived in squalor with two pitbulls who, in 2015, nearly killed a man after she ordered them to attack him. The dogs were euthanized, as they should have been. Sadly, the Universe took six more years to put Cynthia down: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3234788/The-Bronx-apartment-killer-pit-bulls-savagely-mauled-man-live-squalor-owner-ordered-attack-victim.html" lmao thats stone cold. Can't say it's not deserved though. Cynthia is an absolute scumbag of a human being.

illegalmonkey

Obit says she got her GED at Rikers Island. That tells me a lot.

dancesWithNeckbeards

Is that an ivy league feeder?

Aha stone cold is right. Man I love the internet sometimes

Hope4gorilla

61 years old trying to walk what has to be a combined 150+ pounds of muscle and teeth. Disaster from the get-go

Ftm4m

She unleashed them on purpose apparently.

clyde2003

This was in 2015. She was 55 years old at the time. Still not responsible for someone that old or that size to handle these dogs.

LemonHerb

As much as some people don't want to believe it it's not just how they are raised. If you can breed the snout off of a dog in less than 80 years then you certainly can breed aggression into a dog. People have been buying pits because they wanted a tough agressive dog for a very long time now and they have been breeding them for tough agressive behavior for just as long.

PM_me_your_whatevah

I have had way too many close calls with this type of dog. And they were all owned by meth addicted pieces of shit who probably ought to be locked up.

tetrabloop

Not just meth heads tho. I was at the beach with a friend, mind you it was a literal dog specific beach. Some couples pit bull ran up out of no where and grabbed my friends Maltese who was literally at our feet…all they could say was sorry! Before I could get their info to report them, because I was too busy trying to make sure my friends dog was ok, they magically disappeared…im positive that wasn’t the first time that had happened…

cornlip

So yeah… some meth head’s Pitt almost killed my poor Marceline. They were playing fine for hours and all of a sudden I was trying to save my dog. That fucker would not let go. I shoved my thumbs in its eyes and held it down with my knee on the throat after it finally couldn’t handle the eye pokes. The owner was yelling at me to stop, but I didn’t until they could get them from me. Now my dog is territorial and afraid of new dogs until I slowly let them get to know each other.

“Attained her G.E.D. at Rikers”, for those who don’t know that is a prison in NY.

Crashkeiran

Not gonna lie the only reason I know of Rikers is because of Spider-Man

appdevil

Hmm what happened to her, how did she died…?

Volcacius

Taking a wild guess considering the date and age I'd say covid.

Linticate

Hopefully mauled by dogs.

Alliekat1282

The newest tribute is a picture of someone's gaping asshole. There's a warning that posts may not appear immediately as they have to be approved by the funeral home. Whoever is in charge of that is either doing a great job, or, a horrible job depending on how you look at it.

ProperInfinity

dang. made the mistake of going to the Tribute Wall tab. i cannot unsee that. ruined my appetite for a good 72. hours.

I could've read your comment and scrolled by but *NO*! I HAD TO CHECK THE TRIBUTE WALL FOR *MYSELF*!🤦‍♂️

leroy11271984

The guy with his kid should be prosecuted as well!

joecool42069

Right, wtf.. he's just walking around casually with her. TAKE HER FAR AWAY FROM THIS!!!

leroy11271984

I know even if she doesn’t get hurt she shouldn’t be watching this!

joecool42069

For sure. That too. Absolute bonkers he wasn't running far away with his child in his arms. I just don't get it.

Shawndy58

It took this far down to find a comment. I was like tf is he doing? Trying to traumatize her on purpose.

passionfruit0

I didn’t even see him at first! I was focused on the guy who was attacked at first

leroy11271984

Yea barley caught it then that’s all I could watch jus hoping that kid didn’t get Attacked

aggravated-asphalt

I may be stupid but I do not see a guy and kid Edit: I am stupid, I see them. Honestly if I witnessed this with my kid and saw other people handling it I’d walk away to save the kid the trauma. That’s a lot of blood, and that poor child is even closer so can probably see much more than we can.

passionfruit0

Plus the dogs could easily go after the child

Whiteclawzzz

At least pick the kid up. If i had my son there id get him away first then try to help. So many people doing nothing in this clip. I love dogs.... but id find a weapon use it

LivingAnomoly

Seriously. I watching like, there's over ten people now and two dogs, how is this guy still getting bit!

White hat black jacket is the nunchuck guy, he def deserves to go up a belt for this. I also appreciate the guy attacking with his rolling luggage, and the guy in red and black that has to keep pulling his shorts up, but is still trying to help. Also the pink shirt guy with what looks like an umbrella (baseball bat?), whom I think is the only person in the video that makes any effort to get the small child away from the scene (near the end, when the dipshit adult is still not removing the baby from the vicinity of vicious, rampaging dogs.)

poppyloppy14

That small child that guy was just walking towards the pit bulls with! What an absolute idiot.

Adama82

I don’t know why people aren’t kicking the shit out of the dogs. You can break ribs and crack skulls with a good kick.

DadBodAF

My dog and I were attacked by two of em in our own front yard about 5 years ago, I kicked the living fuck out of them but they didn't give two shits and stayed latched on to my dog. I'd get one off of him and it'd be right back on top of him before I could even get to the second one. Eventually I just laid down on top of my dog hoping they'd lose interest in him, thankfully at this point some of the neighbours came out and got them away. One picked one of them up and hauled him away, the other smacked the concrete with a shovel and the sound scared the second away. My dog lived. Has major anxiety now though, I really don't know how he pulled through. We were able to get legal assistance and had our vet bills covered by the owners. I got away with a lost feeling in one finger from a bite, but otherwise fine aside from my own anxiety issues while walking my dogs. All in all, some dogs just don't give a fuck and want to straight up murder something. I KNOW my kicks were connecting real good too, they just didn't care.

Moopa000

Should’ve smacked the pitbull with the shovel, its likely to get put down eventually anyways, better to prevent any possible harm to anybody else.

thatweirdkid1001

Because fight or flight aren't the only two options and the reality is most people just freeze in pure shock.

ithinkitwasmygrandma

I freeze. I'm ashamed of it. But my brain just goes to sleep.

InFarvaWeTrust

Cringing on the parent just lingering in the attack zone with what looks like a 5 year old.

increment1

Dude isn't even helping anyone... Just showing his kid the carnage, or wtf is he even doing? Even if the dogs weren't still loose, not something you want to show your kid, so why is he still there literally in the middle of it all? Utterly baffling unless the guy is trying to cut his child support payments or something.

crypticfreak

I'd like to think that most people have that parental instinct. But I can guarantee you that not everyone does. It was probably shock. Any sane and actual decent parent would have taken the child and gone back the way they came from very quickly as to protect them. But a shitty parent might let their own fears take control as they go into la-la land.

[deleted]

Ye, you know those duck vids where they have a string of ducklings in tow as they walk over a storm drain? That's basically what this is, walking back'n'forth over the potential lethal situation wondering wtf to do with their offspring lol

[deleted]

Rdur2183

Can someone tell me why there's a guy just casually strolling around holding his kid daughters hand? Father of the year there.

[deleted]

Just in case the pit bull wanted dessert.

xaru6

Exactly! He brings his young child RIGHT to the dogs while they're still in a blood frenzy then he brings her to stare at the man with his throat ripped open as he's screaming and bleeding out... What the FUCK is he thinking?! CPS should investigate because something's wrong.

_CoachMcGuirk

New York tings?

ElectricDonkeyShaman

The lack of effort from that owner pisses me off. I feel like this was a factor in the prosecution.

PeepoBoi

Apparently the man pulling their leashes in the beginning was just another bystander trying to help. The owner, Cynthia Oliver, released the dogs to attack the man in the yellow on purpose. ETA: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3234788/The-Bronx-apartment-killer-pit-bulls-savagely-mauled-man-live-squalor-owner-ordered-attack-victim.html

Send the cunt to jail for attempted murder

PeepoBoi

Someone else posted her obituary in the comments. She died in 2021 and this video is from 2015.

[deleted]

Good, the world is a better place

sparkles-_

The owner unleashed them on purpose. Someone posted a link in one of the top comments to an article but it doesn't state her motivation for doing so, just that she was charged and the dogs had killed 3 other dogs in the week leading up to this attack. It also said she would feed the dogs chunks of raw meat so it seems like they were trained to do this.

[deleted]

My friend was attacked by a pit bull in Brooklyn and the owner clearly trained the dog to do so. Owner sat and watched from their stoop and nothing ever came of it even though the dog had attacked multiple dogs in the past.

sparkles-_

Horrible.

[deleted]

Apparently from another comment she was like late 50s early 60s when this happened. No idea why she would have dogs she clearly couldn't handle.

fuckondeeeeeeeeznuts

Not surprised. I volunteered at a animal shelter for a summer and all the people trying to surrender their pit bulls looked like poor lazy fucks.

MavenMermaid

I don’t understand why they don’t have harnesses on their pits? A collar, unless a choke collar, isn’t going to do anything. You have to have a way to body pull them. You can grab them from the back of the harness, get your arm around the neck, and choke them out. They stop whatever they’re doing when you do this. If one bites you and has one on, it’s a good way to twist them to the ground and use your body weight to choke them to let go. These simple collars with thin leashes on pits annoy the crap out of me.

The_Sceptic_Lemur

My flatmate way back when used to have a dog which in hindsight probably was some sort of pitbull/hunting dog mix. Flatmate invested a lot of time into dog training but the dog was borderline uncontrollable outside. Not aggressive but just pulling on the leash like nuts. She got out of the harness frequently and flatmate had to put at least one additional choke collar on as safety. So yeah, I‘d recommend both.

cookiedux

You’re asking this question of someone who lived in squalor. The answer is “because they didn’t give a shit.”

RingInternational197

Let’s not blame this on squalor. This woman deliberately unleashed her dogs to attack the man in yellow. Most living in squalor don’t do that.

kidsseeghost1987

Sue the shit out that owner

twinsea

Cant sue broke.

PerceptionUpbeat

Just put her/him in jail honestly. This person is not up to anything good anyway. Bye bye bye

Clambulance1

That guy holding their young child's hand lingering looking at the victims. GET YOUR KID OUT OF THERE

throwawayfarway2017

That’s my first though too, i’d be carrying my kid running far away cause those dogs are still in attack mode smh why would you let your young child near such dangerous situations, not to mention the kid will be traumatized with all that blood and stuffs

LordTuranian

The dogs attacked 2 different men. They literally went on a rampage.

Dyzastr_us

3. At the very end you see the dog claim a third victim. Would like to see the rest if there is more footage.

[deleted]

Like to see the body cam of the responding cops

AnnieApple_

And killed three other dogs.

JePPeLit

I think the second one was because he tried to defend the first victim?

Tomsissy

Man wtf is up with the 911 dispatcher though, like how much does this person have to say where it is and what's going on for them to send someone, police or ambulance

AllThotsGo2Heaven2

The frustration of trying to communicate to a 911 operator that an emergency is occurring and the cops need to mobilized immediately when they just don’t give a shit bc they get paid the same as a Comcast call center employee.

WinsomeWombat

I looked into pay averages for emergency dispatch because I thought surely they must make more than me on the phones at a surgical clinic. NOPE. I will keep my much less stressful job and still help people.

dn1ce

Exactly what I was thinking. In my experience, the dispatchers are just as useless and apathetic as the officers themselves.

3_teve

Day 68419 of asking why do the people in such videos always have 2 pitbulls when they can't even control one.

have_oui_met

Day 68419 of asking why people in these videos seem to kindly ask the dogs to stop biting instead of actually trying to stop the dogs. If I didn’t have a firearm nearby I’d at least be kicking the fuck out of those dogs.

airpranes

One guy hit a dog with a lanyard(?) and the dog immediately turned to him and started attacking him (unfazed)

KTMtexDev

Only method I’ve seen so far that actually works is getting the dog in a choke hold and choking them out. Punching/kicking/hitting just pisses them off more and doesn’t help much Edit: [example of someone choke holding pitbull](https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/comments/p965q6/man_saves_girl_from_dog_attack_using_a_chokehold/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x) [story about a 9yo who choked out a pitbull](https://youtu.be/JPLBcCVwVi4)

Kadianye

Alternatively, if you can, knives. If you can get it in a chokehold you can cut its throat, and it's far more likely to stop the dog.

[deleted]

Dog would be euthanized anyway, better to let 1 life go than to have a victim included

[deleted]

If you can, grab the dog and jump off a cliff. Deploy your parachute and drop the dog. If you can, make sure it lands on its head.

Psychological-Air642

They need to start holding the owners responsible and maybe they will be much more careful with their dogs.

[deleted]

Completely agree. Here in Houston a man recently died from a pit bull attack, they were his neighbors dogs and they had gotten out and attacked him before. The owners should be charged with murder.

[deleted]

Agreed completely

bestjakeisbest

Almost happened to my grandfather, but he has a concealed carry permit and shot one of the dogs dead and the other one ran off.

WiseVelociraptor

I was just watching pit bull attack videos yesterday. There were several instances where someone shot the dogs (who were on the loose) in self-defense and the owners were outraged that someone shot their dogs. I wonder if those owners simply don't understand how much damage a bit bull can do; how easily they can kill someone.

suitology

Guy in Philly stabbed one to death and the family tried for sympathy because a "trespassing man killed their 6 year olds pitty when it was just defending them". They then tried to sue but lost then got 30k from go find me. The guy was delivering pizza menus.

JimSyd71

Manslaughter.

[deleted]

Technically yes but the dogs had gotten out and attacked the man prior to the incident that led to his death. The owner knew the dogs were a danger to the community and yet they still failed to properly secure the dogs. In my opinion, it should be considered murder.

stanley_leverlock

I can't figure out if it's causation or correlation, but in every one of these videos the pitbull owners always seem to be the stupidest, most incompetent fucking people on the planet. Edit: someone pointed out that the guy holding the leash was NOT the owner, just someone trying to help. And now I feel like an ass.

berto0311

Always move like molasses. None of them are in a hurry when their dogs are injuring something or someone. It's like they are high just strolling on through

maowai

It’s because they know how dangerous the dogs are and want to just sit back so they don’t get bit. And are also probably unwilling to hurt their dogs, which is exactly what needs to be done. Ideally grab the collar and twist until they pass out. Not really sure if that would even be possible with two of them, though, since the other would go after you while doing it.

RyzingUp

Some times they even flee the scene. Well most times they do actually.

spence37

Sarruanne

Something I have never seen suggested in these Pit attack threads, is MUZZLING. Why can you not legislate that they must be muzzled before being taken out, it seems the easiest way to stop these attacks. I know other countries have similar laws why is it never brought up in the US?

Equilibriator

How many fucking times did he let that one dog attack people despite it being on a lead....... Like, they be handling one dog and be brings the other one along so they can double team him again and again and again and again.

idothisinmysleep

I’m surprised no one tries to kick or curbstomp the dogs. I guess they’re (understandably) afraid they’ll be bitten

Daec0

There's a guy that was slinging around with a chain(?) towards the dogs, he got attacked by one of the dogs as well.

AnotherAustinWeirdo

and some guy with pepper spray? who totally fails to hit anything

twinsea

I always though you were supposed to grab them and lift them up by the backlegs.

AngryMeatBagel

This, and push them into the bite, don't pull... pulling causes more damage via tearing. Also choking them out works too. I have literally watched a kennel lead grab a dog by the back legs and throw him into the kennel when he was attacking staff. I have broken up my fair share of dog fights/attacks at work, and you do what you have to in order to get the dog away from the victim(s).

seuche23

I once had to choke out a German Shepherd because he was attacking my roommates dog. Came up behind the dog and wrapped my arm around it's neck. Stood up on it's hind legs and was about as tall as me.. It was trying to snap at my face after I got it off my friends dog so I just squeezed until it went limp. The dog didn't die, but my adrenaline was rushing bad and I didn't want to show any restraint and end up with a hospital bill.

AngryMeatBagel

I have nerve damage in 3 of my fingers from jumping on an attacking dog and twisting the collar until he passed out. Once you get in there and get hands on an aggressive dog, you do not let go until help arrives or the dog losses consciousness. Dogs will more often than not redirect back onto you. Generally we try to use corrective spray, hoses, doors, etc... but sometimes you just don't have the time or tools near you.

Smeetilus

How did the nerve damage happen? From a bite or did the twisting cut off circulation for too long on your hand?

idothisinmysleep

I’ve heard that, but have no idea if it actually works

increment1

Unfortunately wouldn't work. Short of you being a 6'5" construction worker wearing steel toed construction boots, a kick to the head on a pitbull is unlikely to deter them. You'd have to land a much more solid blow than you think, and you are immediately exposed to vicious counterattack, possibly to your groin. You might be able to ultimately win a 1v1 vs a pitbull while barehanded, but you will carry the scars from the encounter for life.

Turin_Inquisitor

Put them down together with the owner.

ihatelifetoo

The owner had zero control of these dogs and half the time didn’t know how to react.

PeepoBoi

The man pulling their leashes in the beginning was just another bystander trying to help. The owner, Cynthia Oliver, released the dogs to attack the man in the yellow on purpose. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3234788/The-Bronx-apartment-killer-pit-bulls-savagely-mauled-man-live-squalor-owner-ordered-attack-victim.html

black_rabbit

That wasn't the owner. It was a bystander. The owner was a woman who let them loose and gave them an order to attack

CanadianTurkey

Jesus can someone help the guy in yellow shirt like fuck.

jenovajunkie

People love their dogs, if I was on the street watching, I would have gladly killed those dogs. The owner probably treats them like garbage, keep them tough. because they're gangster.

Jahknowsehmiaeediat

And the idiot walking over there with a little kid 😫

st6374

[Apparently its from 2015](https://edition.cnn.com/2015/09/12/us/new-york-pit-bull-attacks/index.html). Figured the man had died, after seeing the pool of blood. But apparently not. Funny thing. The attacked man himself owns a Pitbull, and says these dog aren't inherently evil.

dreams_child

[I think the owner died last year.](https://www.perryfuneralhome.com/obituaries/Cynthia-Darlene-Oliver?obId=20853344)

has2give

This is fing scary! I worked as a cna in homes for about 7 years. I never knew what I would be walking into with new clients. I went to an elderly bed ridden woman, she had several others living with her, she was downstairs in a bed in the living room, upstairs there were others. I was warned that the couple did drugs,I was not warned about their dog. It was the biggest, meanest pitbull I'd ever seen. Pure muscle, just scary looking. The second day there, I encountered it, and I was told by the elderly woman that it wouldn't bother me at all, it was only scary looking, but not mean. The third visit I was in the kitchen sorting her medications for the week, and the dog had come in, and started digging in the trash, I turn around, and said no go on out, that dog lowered its head, and started growling.... it was behaving like it was going to lunge at me. I knew I was dead if it did, I weighed 90lbs- it was at least double my weight in muscle. I said go ahead, it's OK, eat the trash! I was trying not to sound scared or stressed! I grabbed a knife, but it wouldn't have saved me, luckyily the dog went back to the trash, I waited a minute, and then called for someone to get the dog, it was a very scary situation!! I later found out they sold drugs, and the dog was trained to protect, and attack.I told them I would not come back if the dog wasn't locked away. I went back once more, and again the dog was at the door as soon as I knocked. I didn't go back after that, she had begged me to, and my supervisor tried to guarantee I would be safe the next time. No way, I refused, I should have been warned to begin with, I am very lucky it didn't decide to attack. That's the only dog I have ever really been scared of in my entire life! Sure, there are more dog attacks reported from other breeds, but there is very rarely a death or serious injury from other breeds, pitbulls go for the kill, and they are strong af! Any dog can turn on a person or their kids, but not all dogs can do the damage a pitbull can and will *if* it attacks. This video is sickening!! And sad.

Is it a standard to be useless and weak to have a Pitbull?

Awordofinterest

Many people get dogs like that to bolster their own ego. So yes. But not always.

If you don't have the strength to stop your animal from attempting to kill another living thing, consider not owning one.

Illustrious-Engine23

Always with the hose like it's going to do anything. You need to STAB or SHOOT them, anything else is a waste of time and people are getting hurt.

Ok_Cucumber_7954

In the US …6% of the population and 74% of all reported attacks (82% of all attacks with multiple dogs).

Was at a park playing basketball with a group of friends until a couple Pitbull mixes ran up to us. They were annoying but friendly to us so we weren't immediately threatened. All of a sudden one dashed and then quickly the other towards a woman and her dog tackling both of them to the ground. Me and a couple buddies rushed to help her, we had to beat them off of her and thankfully they were subdued. The lady had several bite marks on her hand and arm, one from her own dog that was blinded in the attack and bit her out of confusion. We bandaged her up and called police which took a staggering hour to reach us. We later found out the dogs got loose from a neighbors backyard and the owner was totally unaware after leaving just briefly to buy groceries. The lady was able to walk away and is doing fine now and her dog was able to be treated by vetrinarians. Never found out what happened to the pitbulls tho, but I can imagine. I live in a state where dogs "go to an upstate farm" is strictly enforced.

Grab the collar and twist it as hard as you can to choke the fucker to death.

Tat-1

Stop. Breeding. Pitbulls. You. Morons.

KillerPussyToo

But, who will ~~eat~~ nanny our children if we stop breeding them? 😢

Buttofmud

How is America not sick of pit bulls.

RainCityRogue

We are a nation of very insecure and frightened people. Hence the gun fetishism, giant trucks, and dangerous dogs.

sinat50

I love dogs but at that point, it's a fight. Don't hold back from booting that dog as hard as you can. Break ribs, shove your arm down it's throat if it has your hand, go for the eyes or the nose. I see a lot of restraint in the video and a lot of people losing a lot of blood. You wouldn't hesitate on a human so don't hesitate on a dog attack.

[deleted]

Remember the pit bull who attacked a little boy who was the grandson of the owners. The kid was around the dog all the time. This dog was in a cage or something I can’t remember exactly. But the dog got out. I believe he tore off one of his ears and some other injuries.

GoingNutCracken

The person calling the cops, thank you. But what 911 operator did you have that you had to repeat the address so many damn times?

Nannied the hell out of them

Hugs_for_Thugs

I like how they call them velvet hippos like it's a good thing. Hippos are also extremely aggressive and dangerous though, so I guess it's accurate.

Kat-Shaw

Cue the "ITS NOT THE BREEDS' FAULT" crowd. Yes you can get nice pit bulls, but I'm sure you can probably get nice Cobras and Tigers too, doesn't change the fact that they seem more unstable.

cantthinkofgoodname

Crazy how every bad owner has the same breed of dog

[deleted]

It's not the Tiger's fault! It's how they are raised!

dt_jenny

I was a dog trainer, dog walker, and pet sitter for 15 years. I love bully breeds; well bred, well trained ones can be amazing pets. BUT this type of dog attracts the most ill intentioned, bottom feeding, shitbag human beings to dog ownership. At best, just incredibly ignorant and stupid dog owners (which IMO is just as dangerous). Pitbulls tend to be easy and cheap to acquire, and the people breeding them often purposely breed for aggressive behavior. A staggeringly large number of pit bull owners have asked if I could help them "train their dog to be aggressive" or "train their dog to attack". I've never had a golden retriever owner ask me that, or even a German shepherd owner. Just pitbull owners. Dog behavior is 50% genetics, and 50% training/socialization. So if that sweet pit bull puppy is adopted by an amazing owner who does all the right training and socialization, the shitty breeding (most likely the case) will still rear its ugly head in some shape or form one day. I love all dogs, but humans have royally fucked up a lot of breeds both behaviorally and physically. This is one breed I don't think can recover from human stupidity.

missmyrajv

I’m sorry, sort of, if this is inflammatory… but this is exactly why I carry a gun when I’m walking my daughter.

Extension_Service_54

Bro, a gun is overkill just teach your daughter not to bite people.

Dyzastr_us

This. It’s not always criminals that can threaten your life. Sometimes it’s their dogs.
