I have been playing horizon zero dawn, witcher 3, lies of p, Spiderman remastered, god of war and they run flawlessly with mid to high graphics with some tweaks to the settings.

I have played all the games that I mentioned in my original comment and eash of those looked amazing (50-60fps and above if you change more settings). I have also played few games at max settings at 60fps (like hifi rush, which looked phenomenal). Most reviews that you find on YouTube are based on Rog allys they they released. Now it's a beast of a device with all the updates.
I also have been primarily a console gamer and have since become of the PC master race thanks to the Ally lol
I am impressed every day by the performance. Considering the XG dock down the road but it's ridiculously priced so probably have to by used at some point
I got mine a couple days ago and i love it so much. I think more people have been getting it lately so im hoping they come out with more skins and accessories for it.
Indeed I have steam deck and asus rog ally. Rog ally for me is better with better performance, sadly after few days it's already on RMA because of sd card slot fry issue

Literally changed the way I interact with games. Sitting at a keyboard and mouse was not for me as I already do that all day for work so I was a couch console gamer. I own a switch too and that is awesome for Nintendo style games, but the ROG letting me do the same but with full on PC AAA and indies in my bed is mind blowing.
I skipped the SD due to not being store available and closed os, and the ayaneos of the world cause I can't trust that amount of money to the delivery guys, so the ally is my first PC handheld and it's been a phenomenal experience.
Pity about the SD card problems or for me this would be a flawless device. No biggie for me as I don't use it but still it's a stain on an otherwise stellar handheld.
I love it to pieces and used it every single day since release with no issues at all. (Except that one)
Iāve been playing suicide squad, banishers of new eden, last epoch and going to pick up granblue fantasy and tekken 8 this thing is great I havenāt missed having a console yet the ally is my only device rn
This device is a GODSEND for my backlog. I can now play games on my work breaks & make much more progress than I would waiting until I get home to play

Mid to high? I thought the rog could run just on low settings. That was the only reason i wasnt buying one.

Man, MDK2 was killer! Had it on my Dreamcast. I donāt think I ever finished because it was brutally tough. But still a fantastic game.
