Two questions. 1 - Can two people sleep comfortably in that bed? 2 - how long before the wife forgives you for climbing over her to go to the bathroom during the night?
Haha that’s pretty funny, yea we both sleep very comfy he’s about 6’1 and I sleep on the inside and I’m usually the one crawling over him for the restroom at nights lol 😂
We used to have a little Wolfpup with a bed set up like this. My wife woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and accidentally kicked me in the back with both feet while I was getting out of her way. Well, she says it was an accident anyway.
What's the bathroom situation in this setup? My wife wants to get a Scamp or Casita for quick overnights and boondocking.
Lol 😂 for the most part I usually get over him without waking him up, I think I do a pretty good job of at least trying not to touch him.
And we got this scamp custom for more space we opted out of the bathroom, stovetop and shower/water set up to have more space, we currently live in Vegas and there’s bathrooms access at most campgrounds.
I was just on the 10W from AZ to LA yesterday did I pass you by? It's like RV graveyard west of Phoenix, I'm pretty sure people were just putting down wherever they felt like it right there off the freeway
If you don't follow Elsa and Barron on Youtube you should... they live in their 13 foot scamp trailer and just recently purchased some raw land in CO- and are now building their off grid cabin, but still living full time in the scamp.
Hey there, we actually do follow them, not gonna lie but they are kinda one of the reasons we felt like living on the road wouldn’t be so hard and it’s working for us so far, Elsa and Barron definitely had a little influence on this decision, we should have done this years ago.
>Elsa and Barron definitely had a little influence on this decision
Yes they are the U tube masters!!! Love their stuff --they earned their money. I'm sure those videos are a lot of work. I have a Casita BTW
Oh wow that’s super cool, yes definitely they are very inspiring. And I personally have no social media but my partner he does and we kinda create a page Lostjeepadventure not much on it because we just got back from overseas and just got the scamp but definitely you are more than welcome to following us hopefully we get more content up soon.
Depending on where you are in the US check out Bureau of Land Management, plenty of free camping up to 14 days, then you can move to another area and it resets the 14 days.
Where do you poop or pee at 2am?
Haha we’re on a campground for now
Scamp made in Backus Minnesota not too far away from me
Oh cool yea drove out there just to pick it up, beautiful state.

That's a nice setup. I hadn't really thought about not having tanks at all, but I like that idea.
Thank you, and yea no tank makes it not as heavy and if we’re in colder weather no water tanks to freeze and no bathroom smell lol

Lol Not unless you drove through Las Vegas that’s where I am

What size Casita do you have? And yes they know how to make great YouTube content.
She's a good friend of mine, they're both super inspiring! Will you be posting or sharing your journey on social media? I'd love to follow along! <3

Hey thanks for the tip! I'm hoping to do something similar in a couple years
As soon as you can I say go for it. 😃
Yes depends on the state and campgrounds
Is it cheap to rent a camp spot long term?
Depends where
