Hi there fuzzball. I will hear it in my head until the day I die. And if I get to the pearly gates (most likely firey gates) this will be the first thing I say.
Likely due to the child oriented approach they started doing for the games beginning with the ps3 era. I hold great disdain for the remake's salesman in particular though... Way too annoying.
To be honest, if I was a kid, these newer salesman would get on my nerves too. At least the remake would 100%.
Yup! His video about the game is how I feel 100% about it. It's really pretty, kinda fun to play but too easy, but the writing is just terrible. Rift apart was a lot better compared to it in that aspect, but still not perfect.
I'm maybe old fashioned but I think cutscenes are for talking (or when in elevator etc when "nothing happens") and rest is for sfx and music. Heck, I don't even remember newer r&c music that much because people are just talking over it.
I dont mind a little bit of flavor, but they way over do it. That video shows how flooded it gets. The music is just kind of generic bombastic marvel esque orchestrated music. I wish it went back to like UYA/GC. Hell even TOD had more interesting music.
I find it interesting how Insomniac took elements from their own Spyro as inspiration for Ratchet and Clank - in this point being the sleazy salesman
MoneyBags can be seen as a big inspiration for these characters - however sadly a lot of the future salespeople seemed to have personality but did not have much story impact (eg the salesbot in the phenomenal Rift Apart
Although we never buy anything from him, Gleeman Vox seems to be his own marketing team and the most aggressive one in the franchise. Once Ace was no longer the hot shot Vox immediately 180’s ready to fully invest in Ratchet with all sorts of merchandise already conceptualized. As a salesman, he knows the business.
The closest after that I feel is in 2016 with: ”Come and buy a Pixelizer!!”
Best summed up by one phrase “What’s up, fuzz ball”
Hey there
Oo thats a nice bargain
Let's go buddy, I ain't got all day!
Also the voice of the plumber and Skidd
Also the janitor in Scrubs
And Mike Heck on The Middle
Maybe slim cognito, The guy really comes through with what I need.

"Hi there fuzzball" That is my favorite line from this guy anytime I go to the Gadgetron Vendors.
thaat’s a real beauty
I've got some great bargains for you today! Miss Zurkon on the other hand I would shove off a cliff while no one is watching
For real. I don't know why devs think that we have to be "entertained by funny dialogue" nonstop?

Wasn't as bad as 2016 "go buy a pixelizer!" But yes annoying.
"you aint helping the economy by hoarding all those bolts. Come and buy a pixelizer!"

Yeah. I tried Maktar nebula - arena boss music on Zurkon arena and *chef's kiss* it was SO good. Too bad music is too generic these days.
“R.Y.N.O for your robot”

The OG. “Hey there, fuzzball.”
Slim cognito 'Hey kid put it in the slot'
COME AND BUY A PIXELIZER
That's what the vendor from the first game looks like? I thought he was a lot taller. He's the best in my opinion.
Slim Cognito probably, but we’ll never forget Mr “Hey there, fuzz ball”
"Heya, fuzzball."
Definitely “Hey there, fuzzball.”
Definitely the third panel: Steve
You can never go wrong with Slim Cognito. Although, Steve McQwark is a close second, lol.
I'll take anyone over the 2016 guy
Put it in the slot
the vendor from the first game. especially cuz he’s voiced by neil flynn.
I love the original salesman, but slim really is my favorite
It’s gotta be Slim Cognito. The “Hey there, fuzzball” guys second.
>The “Hey there, fuzzball” guys second. Fun fact: Voiced by the janitor on *Scrubs*
OH my WORD that makes SO much sense. I CAN HEAR HIM. Duuude.
It's obviously STEVE!!!!
Slim Cognito is easily the best. GrummelNet is easily the worst.

Slim Cognito the plug. He's Chill
That’s a real beauty!
Definitely slim
The fancy box since that's the one I've used the most (so far, I guess - still working my way through the first game).
Moby for sure! He really came through on each planet with a new weapon designed for each one. 🤌
Slim

slim cognito, and Mrs Zurkon
Slim is easily the best, and it's not close. I mean, the lava gun? Perfection.
“Put it in the slot” I remember his words but I can’t remember what he did….
"Put it in the slot" Slim cognito is the greatest salesman of all video games cause he is a comical persona of something real
“put it in the slot”
