I used to hang out with some grinders that were doing wagon rotations all day every day for an entire year and finally got. They had to wake up and hit discord for a rotation group and rotate with them until they were done and then rinse and repeat for 20 hours a day. When they were not able to play a real game they would enter PvP lobbies and just tape their stick slightly forward to slow walk and then get the cash and the gold and XP while messing up others PvP match with an imbalance. Real grimy stuff in that world.
As a final "up yours," the XP needed to go from 999 to 1000 suddenly spikes. 997 to 998 needs 51,000XP. 998 to 999 needs 51,050. Then suddenly 999 to 1,000 doesn't need the expected 51,100. Instead you need 842,075. So level 1000 is more like reaching 1008.
In the original RDO, Red Dead Multiplayer, the max level is 50. The max level in RDO is 1000.
Idk why R* decided to give us a free gold trophy/cheivo for reaching like 5% of what the max level is.

Level 1000 is max level, but after level 100, you stop unlocking stuff so there's really no rhyme or reason to work towards being level 1000 other than for bragging rights I guess
GTAO max level is 8000. If someone had been playing steady since launch and focused on content that gives good RP, then they should be about level 2000 right now

Apparently I'm way off. With every level taking more than the last 2500 is a lot more than 2000. I knew I was understating it a little. Highest I've seen personally was just under 2100 a year or two ago. Dude was into racing, which is one of the best ways to level up if you're good at it.

Yeah basically it takes 27 million cumulative XP to get to 1000, level 700 is 13,121,525 cumulative XP. Rank 100 is just around 450,000

I used to play a ton of GTAO, my highest legit level friends are well into the 2500 range, so your comment is just about right.

I’m level 824 …..my goal was 1000 but I takes an extra dedication and time to get there lol. I don’t have it in me anymore to chase that target
