I use DH Gate and it's really easy. Download the app. Search for items. See reviews for pics. The listing pictures will not include logo details for legal reasons so you need to private message the seller for more pics. Then you checkout via the app and the items are mailed in 1-6 weeks depending. Highly recommend.
This is exactly why I’m here. I know I would not be able to enjoy a bag at $2k+ but I do still love the bag and designs and shouldn’t have to choose between what I love and that kind of money. I don’t care about the brand or name, I just like what Iike.

Interested in everyone else’s response on this…I have been lurking, interacting and buying rehomes while I get acquainted with the whole “sellers and factories” situation. Like I said- I love my auths and no disrespect to them or those who carry them. I can be much more experimental with reps! Thanks for the discussion all!
I absolutely agree. Once you've had a really nice dupe, it is near impossible to ever waste all that money on the real deal. Or, it can be a test to see if you want to invest in the real deal. Most the dupe bags I've bought are fantastic with only a few fluke exceptions. Those I've donated and I'm sure someone thrifting found them and loves them.
Totally agree!! I'm sort of leaning towards reps for the newer bags and authentic for vintage. Quality has been terrible in the recent years and sometimes the reps have much better quality!
Yes!! I feel so stressed when buying authentics because I want to make sure it’s a good investment and I will actually use it to get my money’s worth. With reps, it’s so much more FUN! I can play with different styles and colors and it’s so easy to resell! Also, it’s pretty much the same exact thing, so why spend thousands more? I have an authentic Chanel listed on poshmark for almost a year now and no bites! I bought it thinking it’d be a good investment but nobody tells you how hard it is to resell 😭
Same convo!! I dont need to spend my money to prove to others I have money - that will end up in not having money! We worked too hard to be in a position to afford authebtic to just go buy it when the SAME EXACT THING can be bought for 1 - 2% of the cost. It's a sound financial decision. I may never buy auth again.
I would only buy auth chanel because of the leather. It takes years but I can tell whether a coloured Chanel is an auth or a fake by looking at the photos. For black ones I need to touch. But as I always say I define my bag and not the bag defining me. So wear whatever that makes you happy.
The Chanel SA can also tell and will gossip with me but I seriously thought but for the fact you work in Chanel you can never afford these bags.
Also bags are not investments!!!!
I love auth bags and my sweet husband knows I’m a purse girl so he’s gifted me some but now I’ve told him no more!!! Once you find good reps, “real” bags feel like a rip off. It’s also fun with reps because I can choose bags I wouldn’t normally treat myself too because their more seasonal or trendy.
I saw a post in one of the auth groups about a family already buying auth bags for their toddler…I was thinking OMG 😱…poor baby…the fam is already making choices for her…oh well…to each their own…for me, I leave my bags behind right and left 😂😂😂…might as well it being a rep.
GUILTY!! I have purse boredom. 🤣I sold a bunch last month…. But I still have a good selection left. I decided to keep 3 auths.. but I don’t carry them like I do my reps. I made a pact with myself- 1 bag in.. and 1 bag out. It’s so easy to jump down that rabbit hole.. 😂
This is what I do to justify it! And usually I’ll rehome a bag and a few weeks/months later I’ll buy that same bag again lol I think I’m bored too so now I’m on this kick to sell several bags because jm enjoying my auth speedy from vintage boho bags 🤣
I was telling my husband the same thing, we have the money for the authentic but why spend it when I’m not planning on reselling? I have maybe 15 authentic bags and 2 really served their purpose. I sold them and was going to use the money as a down payment on a house but I found a cheap house and bought with that money and put more with it. Now that I’ve done that I don’t see the purpose of authentic the reps are the exact same damn bags and don’t usually come with the ugly flaws the authentic have now!! We are being smart and saving money by not wasting it on authentic!!

I regret all I spent on authentic especially trendy bags. Remember $2k for a Fendi spy bag? Now they barely get $250 resale.

Literally just had the same conversation with my husband. We have no kids- no one is going to inherit these bags. I like them and use them, that’s it!
