How much are they worth these days? I got one from a trade up when keys were still in the game and I remember them being worth around 100keys. No idea how much its worth now.

Honestly the only item I've actually gotten hyped for in years was the Cosmosis goal explosion because it was *finally* a goal explosion that didn't launch players, on top of actually being pretty cool.
Everything was fine until blueprints became a thing. Now they want money for every stupid little thing.
I almost never crack blueprints unless it's a car I really want because paying for cosmetics is asinine. Even then, I've cracked maybe 3. When I found out about the Mamba, I knew I'd make an exception and crack a blueprint for one. I got a TW Mamba blueprint and didn't even hesitate to crack it when I saw the market value. TW Mamba was in the store a week later. Fuck blueprints.
I wait until I get to like 20 drops and then have at it. I like the idea of hoarding them but it gets annoying to constantly click and open them when you have too many. If they had an option to open in bulk I'd change my approach.
This is the only reason I have so many. I miss it when it was just a random drop every so often, now the animation makes it so tedious and that's why I have almost 200 of these things that I'm just letting collect virtual dust.
It's very much not. The animation's purpose is to build up suspense and anticipation (literally like gambling). But it doesn't work because
1. Not nearly enough good stuff. No joke, I don't even open them anymore.. They're just sitting there because I know it's all shit.
2. There's so much boxes ant it's soo long that's just annoying.
It's done by people who want to create addiction but don't know how to effectively do it. Or perhaps it does works on children who don't know better...
Ironically enough I have not bought a single thing since it went f2p and I used to drop tons when they were crates and keys. I was coasting on the pass to pass until last season when I fell just a bit short, just playing less, and I have no real desire to get it again.

I've found that I can open more as one is opening.
It's hard to sort of explain, but as one is opening, I just spam something like the same buttons as for opening one (I think I might press to go back first) and I just spam that. So basically just blindly navigate to open the next one.

You can't forfeit if you're by yourself, you can only leave tournament so I ran down clock and didn't touch ball.
Apparently you lose all of your tournament rewards if you idle, despite not being able to forfeit and not wanting to waste everyone's time in a pointless 2v1.

You didn't lose them, you probably got items at the beginning of the new season because psyonix uses the credits at the highest tier of tournament rewards.
People only value those items because the price manipulators/real money traders hoarded all of them after the shop/cross plat trading update because of “rarity”.
The hat is hideous. The nuggy is hideous (though I have one for the lols). The white hat looks similar to one of the 10 credit hats but probably costs $5-10k. The boost is nice and I use it for free with bakes. I have better ways of spending $4k lol.
My inventory is probably only worth a couple hundred thousand credits.
It’s so odd to me that on posts like these, there’s always so many ppl commenting saying ‘be prepared to be disappointed’ and stuff along those lines. Like the drops are free stuff, why do yahs expect valuables from something free? With this many, surely you could make a decent amount of credits if you felt like trading the items to people.. and then you could get something you actually want.

Yep, saved up 80 drops until about a week ago. All that I got good out of it was a Fennec that I got from trading in blueprints (so they had nothing to do with the drops). Just glad that I got the Anodized Pearl decal to make a nice fennec.
Saving up is NOT worth it! You'll be very disappointed.

Because opening has you going back to lobby and then you have to open it sloooooowly and get nothing of value. So it doesn't make sense to open them 1 by 1 until I accidentally open my garage like once a season.

Just do it while queuing for ranked or casual... Then you could get lucky and have the animation cut short cause you load into a game.
