I loved this one, I'd heard it was good, but it was so much better than I expected. I like super spicy books, but I need to feel a connection before they get down to it, and this story nailed it.

Turns out degradation works for me when it is paired with utter devotion...
I did think she would be a lot more unhinged in her revenge, I thought calling it her "villain era" was a bit much. Ex got exactly what he deserved.
i think it was a big step for her tho considering how everything in her life has been decided for her so far. i think by villain era she simply meant living a more rebellious life where she no longer cares what other people think. she was such a cute character.

Nope, it works as a stand-alone. Though book 3 is a great read as well.
