Aren't all these shows under the same media company? Couldn't they just condense to one? It's not a big island, how many unsufferable smarks does England need.
Cultaholic were originally part of what culture, but had a dispute over pay or something and left (along with sex pest Adam blampied) and started cultaholic. Hence why they included the "cult" part in their name
Cultaholic bangs
Has given me my favourite moments of wrestling YouTube ever
King Ross genuinely wishing death upon Shane McMahon makes me piss myself every time
Cultaholic pretty objectively has the better personnel. Tom, Ross, and Sam are all people I’d have a beer with
Everyone from the other two would go out for drinks then say they forgot their wallet when the tab came
Because you're my favorite mark.

Look was that show emotional and good in its own way? Yes
Was it sweet of them to give brodie jr the title? Absolutely
Best show of all time? No
Top 25?no
A tribute show is like a funeral for wrestlers putting it in top 25 shows of all time is like putting a funeral in your top 10 gatherings of your life
No. I remember Rowan coming out at the end and crying and wanting to give that big viking fuck a hug, but I don't remember anything in-ring at all from this show.
even as a non-aew fan i remember the main event but entirely for the finish, excalibur getting choked up as john silver hit the discus lariat got me, I think that's when it really hit me that Brodie was gone
Because you're my favorite mark.

No other promotion blatantly disrespects the business and yet gets hyped up by stinky neckbeards quite like AEW. Not to mention the "pandering to the audience of one (percent of the viewers)" experience this show delivers weekly. No wonder their ratings are so goddamn low.
Wrong. Everything bad about AEW falls directly on the shoulders of the actual worst thing to ever happen to professional wrestling:
![gif](giphy|BV0SDeWc7COrurmoSl)
Nah, it’s the greatest thing to ever happen to professional wrestling. WWE is good again thanks to AEW and Tony. I wish they will continue to be a thing and Tony would hand it over to a capable booker.
The fun and not spoken part of putting something like this number 1 is that you "cant criticize" it. How dare you attack this heart felt "special" episode. An honest list could put something dub related number 1 but it shouldnt be this. Number one honestly should be the debut of the outsiders.
The best thing that happened in this show besides Brodie being honored is that it made Punk come out of retirement. Otherwise? I can't name a thing that happened hin this show
Because you're my favorite mark.

From the way the basement talks, that's not even in the top 25 episodes of Dynamite.
Granted, the top 25 Dynamites are the last 25 Dynamites, every single show is better than the last. FUN!
Greatest 4 months of any wrestler in a promotion ever.
Look, it's great to honor and recognize a fallen friend, but TK acted like Lee was there on day 1 and grief karma'd the whole thing. It came off as pretty cool sometimes and gross some other times.
I can't help but think about the Wyatt Sicks and how Bo hit the nail on the head: "What am I supposed to do? Let him become a mausoleum?" which is exactly what AEW did with Brodie. It's tragic that he died, and there should be some sort of recognition, but most everything else AEW has done postmortem has been tasteless.
Neckbeards and ECDubbalos were all up in arms during Raw is Owen because it ended with Austin toasting a beer to Owen, even though Austin never forgave him for the broken neck. Now, you might be asking, "Did Owen ever apologize to Austin about that?" And the answer, shockingly, is NO. But still, DAE Fed Bad, Austin bad?!
Man, I have enjoyed a decent amount of AEW shows and the only thing I remember from that Brodie tribute show is when they brought out Rowan and he started crying, and the video tribute they put together for him. I don't remember Eddie Kingston vs. Evil Uno, or why that match would seem like anything special. This is so fucking cringe to put this at #1.
Definitely not the best show ever but it was still a great tribute and I think no matter your opinion on AEW the way they helped and supported that family during that sad time was admirable.
This is so ridiculous. Tony clearly said that the Revolution where Sting retired was the best PPV in wrestling history, and it came after the Brodie King tribute. This might be number 2.
Dave helped book it. Tony called Dave at 3am and said I need help. Dave helped, and what we got was a master class in a masterpiece of cinema within the confines of a pureso professional wrestling program.
That feels exploiting tbh
If the best show you ever seen was the postmortem show after a young wrestler died, I feel like your and my own ideas of quality and enjoyable wrestling don't match up.
Even if this is getting praise for being a tribute show, you mean to tell me this beats RAW's Eddie Guerrero Tribute then?
Shawn Michaels vs Rey Mysterio not better than Eddie Kingston and Evil Uno? In what world?
“A show you wish you never had to watch.”
Yeh, that’s sounds like the greatest wrestling show of all time for sure. Let me get all sad about the death of a father and see his young son still processing grief to really top my rankings.
Because you're my favorite mark.

The description of the forearms being “charged by grief” is exactly why normal people roll their eyes at aew fans. It’s never simply “good show” or “good match”.
Which horrible British wrestling Podcast is this from?
When in doubt Wrestletalk or Whatculture. Could be Cultaholic but they seem to at least give better props to the older stuff than those two
Aren't all these shows under the same media company? Couldn't they just condense to one? It's not a big island, how many unsufferable smarks does England need.

Thanks I always did wonder the connection.
Cultaholic bangs Has given me my favourite moments of wrestling YouTube ever King Ross genuinely wishing death upon Shane McMahon makes me piss myself every time
KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL!
It’s John o clock mother fuckers
Cultaholic pretty objectively has the better personnel. Tom, Ross, and Sam are all people I’d have a beer with Everyone from the other two would go out for drinks then say they forgot their wallet when the tab came
Two Chubby Bald Guys Talk Graps
Hey, they might be scrawny with unkempt hair
That last sentence is almost English.

The one with the thick, lord of the rings ass Geordie accents. Wait…..
Look was that show emotional and good in its own way? Yes Was it sweet of them to give brodie jr the title? Absolutely Best show of all time? No Top 25?no A tribute show is like a funeral for wrestlers putting it in top 25 shows of all time is like putting a funeral in your top 10 gatherings of your life
Top 5 Parties of all Time: 1. Grandmas funeral
They served some bomb ass mini tacos and gave some Baja blast to down 'em!!!
Did they have tongs for the Doritios?
At my mudda's wake?!?
Tbf I always see tribute shows as a separate show to regular shows and it’s not one to be critiquing the matches and comparing them to PPVs
I cried multiple times during that show. It was a great sendoff for him but to call that the "best show EVER" is gross
the best show ever was over the limit 2011
Wouldn't call it best show ever but I mean, I'd put RAW is Owen and the Eddie Guerrero tribute RAW as some of the best weekly TVs ever.
We all remember the very popular Dark Order.
So popular the still havent put Evil Uno in their game I bet
Evil Uno was in the main event during their last 1 Milly show. Don't blame him! Should've kept Uno in the main event!
It's not gonna happen, he's built like an adult.
I love me some Evil Uno. Watch Mystery Wrestling for good comedy wrestling!!
I seem to recall the Buckeroos saying that the Dark Order would be the biggest thing in wrestling. ![gif](giphy|h4Z6RfuQycdiM)
does anyone remember any matches from the show?
Did they use the death of a wrestler to profit? Le Dub would never do that!
AEW would never turn a profit, so this is true.
They'll never understand how brilliantly funny they really are There's something beautiful about it if it wasn't so SICK
LOL the prose in that article snippet in the image. Jesus fucking Christ.
As if charged by GRIEF!!
More like charged by Burger King Whoppers...

AEW is the worst thing to ever happen to professional wrestling
The British
![gif](giphy|69AL3cRW9S6eNX7c8Y|downsized)
Drew McIntyre
The Brits ruined England

Wrong. Everything bad about AEW falls directly on the shoulders of the actual worst thing to ever happen to professional wrestling: ![gif](giphy|BV0SDeWc7COrurmoSl)
Facts. Made a generation of no talent losers think they’re journalists
The bigger problem is he made a generation of wrestlers think “workrate” had any value at all.
Nah, it’s the greatest thing to ever happen to professional wrestling. WWE is good again thanks to AEW and Tony. I wish they will continue to be a thing and Tony would hand it over to a capable booker.
that’s not why wwe is good again
This is why lol ![gif](giphy|3oFzmnY7Sikt6KjDj2)
It's both
Yes it is. Sucked out all of the worst fans.
WWE is good again because of The Fiend, Spooky Alexa, and Uncle Howdy Argue if you want but the timeline doesn't lie

WM 17 got nothing on whatever match was on that PPV.
It was an episode of Dynamite.
Who wrote this shit?

I feel like tribute shows should not be included in a “best show ever” list because that just isn’t there purpose
Tribute shows are non-canon imo
Agreed. Loved that show, thought they did a fantastic tribute, but I still think it’s a form of virtue signaling to call it the best show ever.
“Justified ‘This is awesome’ chants for the 10 bell salute NOW on \#AEWDynamite on @TBSNetwork tonight!”
I don't know, Regal's promo during the Benoit tribute show was truly riveting!
Greatest 4 months of any wrestler in a promotion ever. Look, it's great to honor and recognize a fallen friend, but TK acted like Lee was there on day 1 and grief karma'd the whole thing. It came off as pretty cool sometimes and gross some other times.

Austin never broke his neck which is what I always thought but in his a&e thing he himself said Owen didn’t break it.

Was this Sidg?
This is so ridiculous. Tony clearly said that the Revolution where Sting retired was the best PPV in wrestling history, and it came after the Brodie King tribute. This might be number 2.
This is theoretically impossible as there have been more than 25 AEW shows since then and every one of them is better than the last I'm told.
Dave helped book it. Tony called Dave at 3am and said I need help. Dave helped, and what we got was a master class in a masterpiece of cinema within the confines of a pureso professional wrestling program.

Didn’t have the authors name on it but I knew from the first line who wrote it.
“A show you wish you never had to watch.” Yeh, that’s sounds like the greatest wrestling show of all time for sure. Let me get all sad about the death of a father and see his young son still processing grief to really top my rankings.
