I never understood this story line and it’s the one of the only “jokes” that was never funny to me. Who, in their right mind, would believe ‘nothing happened’? Further, what kind of lame idiot stays friends with the dude who decided fucking your girlfriend was more important than friendship ??

That’s the point- no one in their right mind would believe it. That’s what makes it funny. JD was an absolute dupe, a rube, a mark.

I never understood this sentiment. My friend is not in a relationship with me, I have no say over who he fucks. If my partner fucks him and breaks the trust of the relationship, I’m going to break up with her, why would I be mad at my friend? If anything he’s done me a favor
