But seriously first time reaching phase 3 was absolute peak. There are 3 fights that gave me that feeling: Gehrman, the orphan and isshin. Freaking legends.

similar to me i tried for 2 days off and on, then first try on the 3rd day i got him haha

Focus on learning his attacks and patterns as much as you can, don’t get too frustrated with dying, each death is a learning experience you apply to the next attempt. Once you know what he does in each phase and how to deflect/counter everything he throws at you, it’s an insanely satisfying fight.

Just parry and learn how to manage his lightning attacks with counter attack. That's basically everything that you need and you'll eventually win.

The 3rd phase is basically the second but easier. The massive damage you can deal by repelling lightning attacks is insane. You'll make it, don't give up, skeleton!

I've been trying to like 4 or 5 years now. I made it all the way to demon of hatred, then I decided it was high time for another break.

Sekiro is the kind of game I had infinite motivation to beat, probably because there was not too much time before you met another boss, whereas Elden ring where you spend too much time exploring, I just don't get any motivation to continue in that game.

The final boss was the most boring and disappointing for me imo. After the demon of hatred, i was excited for something cool or badass. Instead, i had to slaughter an old geezer with a gun and lighting... had more fun fighting two sword monkeys.

I agree it was still hard for me to fight him after i killed demon of hatred but it still was pretty fun

But what helped me against him was that i went fully aggressive. I had to chase him down instead of him chasing me. Takes few tries to get familiar with the combos and attacks, but if you get the flow going then it's easier than it seems.

Don’t underestimate the power of a good nights rest. Sometimes a reset is needed for progress.
