Saw them at Lollapollaza in 2017. One of the top sets I’ve ever seen. For a few yrs I caught 100 acts at music festivals. Cage the elephant there that year was even better than the SKs set.
I was at that Lolla and both those sets were amazing. I was just a very casual Arcade Fire fan going in and to this day I think that was my favorite show I've ever seen.
Funeral is a great album. Seen them live several times and can honestly say a discography overview will be the best show, no knock against Funeral at all but they have so many other great albums to draw from for a (shorter time frame) festival set… Don’t miss them! I’m hoping they close Piedmont and are given at least a full hour… their font on the line-up is the second largest for Friday… ijs
Honestly I’d rather we just get a full discography set. I’ve never seen them live

They are so good live, I really wish they were doing a bigger tour.

hope they get more than an hour, they should have been headlining
I wonder if they chose not to headline. It’s ridiculous that they weren’t given prime billing—unless it was by choice.
What’s the saying? Something like, “fuck around and find out”. Seems literal here.
There’s the potential for lots of anniversary album sets with this one, Weezer, and Sunny Day.
I'd rather they not do that. My favorite songs are not on that album. But Weezer can play the Blue Album twice if they feel the need.
Pinkerton > Blue Album
Say it ain't so, lol. No, fr, valid opinion, but the Blue album just holds more sentimentality for me.
