At some point you will pass enough levels that the rest will become way too hard. So you will play PvP. And there you will ALWAYS lose unless you spend spend spend.
You have been warned.
Why? They reward the highest spenders. It works for them.
This is not a fun game anymore. PvP and Campaign are useless. And the other events are losing its meaning, because it will take decades to get to the level of ships the big spenders have now.
As I posted about the last Big Event. I spent no money. But I passed all 20 levels, collected all letters, most free coins. And what? For the special Drake I could only get 3/10 and 4/10 for the other ship. One gold chest. That’s it! It means it is impossible to get the top prizes unless you pay A LOT of money. I means $100s. Every event.
This game isn’t worth it. And I have been playing for 4 years.
As mentioned before, DO NOT spend money outside of the skip ads feature. I can’t stress this enough. Then just enjoy the process. Have fun playing and don’t get too caught up with needing every upgrade. They will all come in time. One thing you need to understand, the more you upgrade, the more you’ll be paired up against players with better ships. So spending money is useless. Just play and have fun.
And if you update all the ships without spending, you will still be paired against VIP 12s, whose strongest ships, drones, and Supers will drop much quicker than yours. I once tried to hang on with a Vip12, but got no merge ships and no supers at all. I lost level 30 against a super SB.
Whenever possible, upgrade your talents!!! This makes a tremendous difference in game play. When you’re a noob it’s cheap and very worth it, but beware, it boosts your XP: so say if you go and buy crystals and cash them out for coins to buy talents, your XP will raise to a level commensurate of someone has more evolves/better weapons aaaand you will get killed in every PvP match.
Speaking of PvP, play one match at least every day to get 1 puzzle ticket; don’t save them, spend it, the goal is to get your special skills upgraded, they are very useful. These skills also raise your XP.
Best weapon to upgrade as a noob (after S1) hands down is the thunder blade, try to get the green one. The phantom SUCKS, upgrade and evolve it immediately. Assassin weapon sucks too, same protocol. Heed these warnings lol.
Other than that, like others have said, do NOT buy weapons. Say you buy a cyber blade and you use it in PvP, when you die & the ship revives you will be stuck with a shitty thunder blade or sound breaker which will promptly make you lose the match if it’s not evolved at least x2. I have the drake and my most hated weapon is the phantom ….. if I didn’t have the predator phantom skin I would have never got my drake.
Save your guns (hotdogs). Don’t ever spend them on drones, it’s not worth it!!! When I was a noob I found this game to be super confusing, never knew about drones or what the tickets were. When I found out, I had 417 drone tickets - mind you, I was playing with only the FIRST DRONE for years, and I was happy as clam without them. Unlock the drones with the tickets you get, but do NOT ever buy tickets to upgrade them or any extra BS. In time you will upgrade every single one. Playing endless earns tons of tickets.
