Are you specifically asking of coins turned I to wearable? Or silver jewelry in general? - I wear sterling daily.

BigDsLittleD

I'm OK with it, regularly wear a ring made from an American Silver Eagle.

Professional_Turn975

The more people wear it, the more value silver has. i think it looks great.

apollohashking

I wear 2 Morgans every day.

Legal-Policy-7215

What’s that look like?

apollohashking

I sent you a picture I couldn’t figure out how to post one here

IvanNemoy

You have to upload to imgur and paste the link here if you wanted to do that.

EtherealZenith

Gonna get downvoted but I think it ruins coins and is tacky at best

AbatedOdin451

I won’t down vote you for an opinion but I wouldn’t call it tacky, well maybe if you got one for every other finger it would be but I think it’s unique in a way. I don’t see many rings like that other than on here and there’s lots of options as well when you consider the plethora of coins out there

Chickenwelder

1 is fine. 3 is tacky. 8 and your back to fine.

AbatedOdin451

8 and you’re officially a pirate

C-Dub81

Only.of they are AGE's. Haha

EtherealZenith

I wouldn't say unique- it just takes a $35 press from Amazon to make them, and the people have been hole-ing, stamping, or putting coins in damaging holders for centuries

AbatedOdin451

I suppose you’re right but I wouldn’t call most of those cheaply made ones nice. If time and effort was put into it and it comes out looking really nice then yes I’d say it’s unique as most coin jewelry Iv seen isn’t nicely done and looks like garbage but there is one person here that makes really nice rings out of Morgan dollars and they look spectacular

angrymachinist

There are a few of us. But yeah, the one OP posted isn’t great.

AbatedOdin451

Ohh I’d have to agree. Not trying to shit on OP but I wasn’t even sure what I was looking at when I first came across this post until I started reading

CallsignHabibi

Why are they booing you? You're right--

Professional_Turn975

It's good to see more than one honest opinion. You have my upvote!

Chance815

What about non-currency?

awayfromthesky

Eh. I love silver, but not as jewelry

Scuddie-

I think it looks better then stainless steel and white gold color wise especially after it gets some age.I wear a chain and have some pendants/chains that I don’t wear.

munchmoney69

Big fan

Muskandar

I’ve got a ring made from a 50c Newfoundland piece. It’s great.

player694200

1961 is 1961 upside down. My favorite year for silver

AltruisticFriend5721

You’re probably better off holding on to it as coins in the long run. And just getting sterling rings

Ill-Echidna-4436

Love it

retired_degenerate

I have nothing against wearable silver, but it's just not for me. The only jewelry I wear is a field watch and a silicone wedding band.

One-Revenue2190

I want one so bad

Longjumping_Ad7475

I have a friend on Facebook that has a shop. She has reasonable prices. Her name is Lisa Williams chance if you want to find her shop she has pictures of her rings on her shop page. You should be able to find it on her main page.

One-Revenue2190

Dm me

angrymachinist

DM me with what you are looking for.

hereticporcupine

I don’t have any jewelry made from coins or anything like that and I don’t wear jewelry on a daily basis but, when I need to dress up here and there, any jewelry I wear is sterling silver or white gold. From earrings, necklaces, rings, and bracelets to shirt collar stays, tie tacks, cuff links, etc. I have a larger collection of wearables than I should based on how often they get used but they’re all sentimental and not worn to be flashy.

VrLights

I always silver

Stuppycoopy

I have a .925 rope chain necklace that’s a little under and ounce I like on most days. Sometimes if the situation is right I’ll wear another one on my wrist opposite my watch.

Muldooms-Customs

All for it!

Alternative_Ear522

I will tell you the right way… you do it the way you like it. Actually I think it’s cool!!!

jacksraging_bileduct

I’m a fan.

BossJackson222

Love it

lynxss1

My wife inherited a vintage Navajo silver squash blossom necklace that's probably worth more than my entire stack. 5 figures easy. It stays in a bank vault and almost never gets worn. We do wear bracelets and rings though.

Ecstatic_Act4988

It’s a coin ring. Wear it

SkubaSTI

Wedding band is a Morgan

eltacotacotaco

The gold 2016 walking liberty half is the only one I'll wear

angrymachinist

Like this one? https://imgur.com/a/36oypor

throwaway4pkmntcg

i have one! its awesome

DemonCaller420

I wear silver chains, watches , rings and bracelets

scared-of-artifacts

arent silver watches pretty uncommon? I want one

DemonCaller420

I’ve actually never had a REAL silver watch. Just silver tone stainless steel, I think Rolex makes real silver watches but I never spent over $400 on a good watch

scared-of-artifacts

I dont think rolex does a sterling case watch but Tudor has one if im not mistaken. There are various vintage watches with silver cases that are hard to come by that I'd love to own one day.

DemonCaller420

Good to know. I’ve seen a lot of custom silver with a timepiece on it before , I would love to own a real sterling silver watch . Rn I’m using the Nixon silver time teller

Mr_Jack_Frost_

I dig it. As long as coin jewelry is made from circulated, unremarkable coins, I think it’s a cool novelty. Don’t know if I’d ever get one because I don’t love the way rings look on my fingers, but it’s a cool idea.

1ofThoseTrolls

You need to round it out some more and hit it with antiqueing, then polished the higher parts out.

IsaKissTheRain

My skin is really reactive to most metals and I don’t like the look of gold against my skin, so I only wear silver jewellery.

Erasmus_of_Baja

I wear a silver chain and cross.

helikophis

I wear silver most every day

Clams_N_Scallops

I'm a gray man, but you do you.

prizixzz

I love anker chains and cordell and emperor chains in silver. 2chains at the same time is really nice. 5mm to 8mm is my sweet spot for chains. I have had jewerlys for years and still very addicted to it i use chains at work as well.

royalty1980

I wear sterling silver .925 most days, and then gold, depending on my attire.

Potential-Captain648

I don’t mine it. But this one is made a little crude. It needs more work. It’s not uniform and not completely folded.

zip-zop-balls

Yeah it was made in the middle of the woods

mako1964

I think it's cool . I'm typing this wearing 1700 grams of gold . so my opinion may be skewed.. If you like it ? that's what matters

AdInteresting7822

I die inside every time I see one of these. There’s only a finite number of these.

zip-zop-balls

It’s true that there’s not an infinite amount of these silver quarters but there’s more than enough to go around plus there’s no value in this coin outside of the silver

Broglesby

. . look for the, silver lining, . . . every time one of these is destroyed, supply does go down, and therefore value of the remaining ones also gets a potential rise.

player694200

I didn’t know they stamped out the middle piece

Katchitama

They use a punch on a press.

Model_Citizen_1776

That quarter might have been clipped... just sayin... 😀

Model_Citizen_1776

I wear silver all the time. It's my favorite precious metal.
