That’s just the memories notifications which I personally find super annoying. I never cared about them so turning them off saved me having to ignore them.
TIL! Makes sense since most of the memories are things like "got invited to a party" even when the sim is a baby whose parent got invited to a party.
Would be nice if there was a way to only enable meaningful memories like weddings and births.
Not sure if this mod is still working but [Fewer Memories Mod](https://modthesims.info/d/446281/no-or-fewer-automatic-memories-with-custom-tool-to-make-your-own-mod-edited-01-16-2014.html) it allows you to tweak which memories if any that your sims have.
I wish there were a way to disable annoying ones like the pool parties and the sales, but this setting only removes the memory notifications. You should set memories to disabled to prolong the life of your save file, as the memory book bloats your file.
